How to create dotted line  under a region in page

I have to create a region like this

Hi,
Add an Item of type Separater where you want a dotted line.
Or if you have the region without Text(some of them) will show the region with line in the top(full line).
Thanks.

    Hi,
    the details abbout the line type.
    The line type of a table type can be defined by:
    o Specification of a type that already exists (data element,
    structure, table type, table, view) whose properties are then copie
    as properties of the defined table line.
    o Direct type input, where data type, number of positions, and, if
    required, decimal places, are entered directly.
    o Specification of a reference type.
    and SE11 and click on datatype and click on table type and enter the line type.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Can anybody guide me how to create an iView under Home which access the content available from Windows Share folders on a non SAP system.
    Its not URL iView , I wanna create an iView to access the content from a windows system (
    share)
    Thanks

    You have to create a File System Repository Manager under System Admin -> KM Admin. You can access any Windows Shared drive through that File System Repository manager. The shared folder would be displayed in your portal like a KM folder. You can easily create a KM Navigation iView (from template) over that folder and achieve your goal.

    Hi aneel,
    i don't think dotted lines are possible in smartforms.you can use text box draw underscore's(_) or dots(.) but this should be the last to be displayed in adjustable form or another way is using syuline ,dots and syvline in your code in the table...
    hope this solves ur query.

  • [CS] Basic brushes create dotted lines instead of solid

    I just received an almost-new Wacom CTL-470 tablet from my father yesterday, so naturally I began fooling around with Photoshop line drawings and simple art.
    The initial problem I discovered was that, oddly enough, the basic brush tools, when dragged, would not create a solid line. It would only create a dotted line, the spaces between dots varying with speed of the pen against the tablet.
    If I dragged the pen slowly enough (very... very slowly), it would create a kind of shaky line, which was just dots very close together.
    Naturally I thought it was the tablet's fault, but upon trying to use the mouse to do the same function, the problem persisted.
    I use Photoshop CS and I didn't change any settings at all today.
    I have some things that friends wanted me to do for them, and this problem is starting to irritate me as I have no idea where it came from or how to get rid of it.
    I would also like to know how I can use my tablet to create a tapering effect with my pen pressure. The "pen pressure" setting in the Brushes menu seemed to have no effect.
    I have never experienced this problem before and I would like help as soon as possible. Thank you so much in advance.
    Here's an example of the issue, both in large brushes and a smaller one in the background.

    Look under Brush Tip Shape and look at the spacing settings or that spacing is not unchecked. (the default spacing is usually 25%)
    For tapered strokes set the Size Jitter under Shape Dynamics to Pen Pressure, then the size varies depending on how hard you press the pen on the tablet.

  • How to create dots on a circle?

    I need help please. Could someone kindly tell me how I can create dots to fit around a circle or wavy line using the blend tool and spine. However I want the dots to go from say 50mm in diam to 25mm at the middle one and then back up to 50 again? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

    In CS 5 it is not really necessary to make a blend to do this particular effect you can use a drashed stroke as well
    Use round caps give the dash "0" as the length and give the gap a distance sufficient enough so the sots clear each other and then use the width tool to
    increase or decrease the width of the stroke it remains a stroke and the dots are proportionally scaled.
    and you can go crazy whit it and depending on what you preferences are set for scaling strokes and effects you have even more options
    below is one stroke
    All one path two strokes

  • Probably broken initrd, how to create one anew under Arch

    Hi again,
    I managed to install Arch on my USB flash drive which I partitioned /dev/sdb1 to be /boot,
    /dev/sdb2 = PV of vgarch with one lv_root and one lv_var, and swap as /dev/sdb5 (first  partition in extended part.)
    The FTP install went fine after I had mounted /boot and the LVs / and /var.
    I also successfully ran the setup afterwards, editing each config file, even those where I didn't apply any modifications.
    Finally, I installed grub in the MBR of the USB drive, viz. /dev/sdb.
    When asked during the configuration what modules I would require during boot
    I confirmed LVM, RAID and included dm-mod manually in the MODULES array.
    Nevertheless, the initial RAM disk must have been created incorrectly.
    Because when I boot from the stick
    the grub menu appears and when the default entry gets started I get the error message:
    Booting 'Arch Linux'
    root (hd1,0)
    Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83
    kernel /vmlinuz26 root=/dev/mapper/vgarch-lv_root ro
    Error 15: File not found
    Press any key to continue...
    I know that something must have gone wrong while createing the initrd file.
    Sorry, right now I cannot even mount my USB stick in the running Xubuntu from where I write this posting.
    The reason is pretty daft, as I was too unwary.
    Being used to the RHEL/CentOS initrd image files (where absolute path names are stripped)
    I instantly did the following mess and buggered up my running Linux.
    # mkdir /tmp/arch
    # cd /tmp/arch
    # gzip -dc /media/disk/kernel26.img | cpio -di
    Ouch, this overrode many important binaries
    I should have first piped it into
    ... | cpio -ti | less
    or at least
    ... | cpio -di --no-absolute-filenames
    Did I mention that I haven't made a backup
    Never mind, this is a surf only installation anyway which I quickly can replace.
    After having extracted the cpio image with stripped absolute paths I looked at the init script.
    On RHEL/CentOS there is the mkinitrd script to recreate the initial RAM disk more easily
    than from scratch.
    Exists something similar under Arch?

    MKINITCPIO(5)                             MKINITCPIO(5)
    NAME
           mkinitcpio - Create an initial ramdisk environment
    SYNOPSIS
           mkinitcpio [OPTIONS]
    DESCRIPTION
           Creates an initial ramdisk environment for booting the linux kernel.
           The initial ramdisk is in essence a very small environment (early
           userspace) which loads various kernel modules and sets up necessary
           things before handing over control to init. This makes it possible to
           have, for example, encrypted root filesystems and root filesystems on a
           software RAID array. mkinitcpio allows for easy extension with custom
           hooks, has autodetection at runtime, and many other features.
    OPTIONS
           -c config
           Use config file to generate the ramdisk. Default:
           /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
           -k kernelversion
           Use kernelversion. Default is the current running kernel.
           -s filelist
           Saves a list of all the files in the initial ramdisk in filelist.
           Default: no; This means the filelist will not be retained if this
           option isn´t specified. Useful for debugging purposes.
           -b basedir
           Use basedir as a starting point for gathering information about the
           currently running system. Default: /.
           -g filename
           Generate a CPIO image as filename. Default: no; this means nothing
           will be written to the filesystem unless this option is specified.
           -a filelist
           Append to an existing filelist. Default no.
           -p preset
           Build initial ramdisk according to specified preset. Presets are
           found in /etc/mkinitcpio.d
           -m message
           Print message before passing control to kinit.
           -S hooks
           Skip hooks when generating the image. Several hooks should be
           comma-separated.
           -v
           Verbose output. Outputs more information about what´s happening
           during creation of the ramdisk.
           -M
           Display modules found via autodetection. mkinitcpio will
           automatically try to determine which kernel modules are needed to
           start your computer. This option lists which modules were detected.
           -L
           List all available hooks.
           -H hookname
           Output help for hookname hookname
           -h
           Output a short overview of available command-line switches.
    ABOUT HOOKS
           A hook is a script that executes in the initial ramdisk. The order and
           which scripts are executed is found in the HOOKS=() array in the
           mkinitcpio configuration file. A hook will, for example, set up the
           udev device filesystem, load IDE modules, etc...
    ABOUT PRESETS
           A preset is a pre-defined definition on how to create an initial
           ramdisk. Instead of specifying the configuration file and which output
           file, every time you generate a new intial ramdisk, you define a preset
           and use the -p switch to generate an initial ramdisk according to your
           preset. Presets are located in /etc/mkinitcpio.d
    FILES
           /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
           Default configuration file for mkinitcpio.
           /etc/mkinitcpio.d
           Folder containing mkinitcpio presets.
           /lib/initcpio
           Files related to creating an initial ramdisk.
    EXAMPLES
           mkinitcpio
           Perform a dry-run. This will generate an initial ramdisk but will
           not write anything. Use -g to create the real image.
           mkinitcpio -p kernel26
           Create an initial ramdisk based on the kernel26 preset.

  • How to create trend line in cfchart?

    I can create a scatter chart in cfchart - but I do not know how to create a linear regression trend line in the same chart as a second data series. Kodemonki provided an answer in a forum discussion a few years ago (http://forums.adobe.com/message/192848#192848) - but I am not able to make it work (I have a dangerously small knowledge of coldfusion and statisitcal formulas). Can someone tell me where i put in my to data query variables - such as for a query that gives results for two data fields, "Item1" and "Item2".
    Here is Kodemonki's solution:
    <!--- The min setting is a preference based on how you want the data to be displayed. --->
    <!---<cfset min = arrayMin(grabData["value"]) - 5>--->
         <cfset min = 0>
         <cfset max = ceiling(arrayMax(grabData["value"])) + 1>
         <cfset n = grabData.recordCount>
         <cfset sum_x = 0>
         <cfset sum_x2 = 0>
         <cfset sum_xy = 0>
         <cfloop from="1" to="#grabData.RecordCount#" index="i">
              <cfset sum_x = sum_x + i>
              <cfset sum_xy = (i*grabData.value[i]) + sum_xy>
              <cfset sum_x2 = sum_x2 + (i*i)>
         </cfloop>
         <cfset sum_y = arraySum(grabData["value"])>
         <cfset slope = round(((n*sum_xy) - (sum_x*sum_y))/((n*sum_x2) - (sum_x*sum_x)))>
         <cfset intercept = round((sum_y - (slope*sum_x))/n)>
         <cfset best_fit = QueryNew("id, value")>
         <cfloop from="1" to="#grabdata.RecordCount#" index="i">
              <cfset queryAddRow(best_fit)>
              <cfset value = round((slope*i) + intercept)>
              <cfset QuerySetCell(best_fit, "id", grabData.xlabel[i])>
              <cfset QuerySetCell(best_fit, "value", value)>
         </cfloop>
         <cfchart scalefrom="#min#" scaleto="#max#" title="#GrabDatapointInfo.label#" format="jpg" chartHeight="450" chartwidth="500" xaxistitle="Month/Year">
              <cfchartseries type="line" query="best_fit" valuecolumn="value" itemcolumn="id"/>
              <cfchartseries type="line" query="grabData" valuecolumn="value" itemcolumn="xlabel"/>
         </cfchart>

    Have you read the docs for CFCHART, CHCHARTSERIES, etc?  Did you mess around with the example code sufficiently so you understand how the tags work?

  • How to create dotted or dash rectangle in Photoshop?

    Hi All,
    Is there any easy way in Photoshop CS3 or later Extended to create "dotted or Dask" rectangles? I am talking about the border of the rectangle to be "dotted or dash" line rather usual line? If there is any Actionscript (free) that will be fanastic.
    Thanks in advance...

    Photoshop CS6 makes it easy.
    With Photoshop CS5.5 and older, the best way is to make a path in the shape you want, then stroke it with a brush that's been prepared with the proper spacing and direction dynamics to cause the stroke to be dotted or dashed.
    Generally speaking you can find a lot of tutorials for doing it via Google.  What I might do is to search for something along the lines of dashed stroke photoshop, possibly also adding the word tutorial in the mix, then use the Google Images search, find one that looks like what you're trying to accomplish, and click through the Website For This Image link.
    Here's one of the first I ran across with such a search:  http://www.techimo.com/forum/graphic-design-digital-photography/110702-mini-tutorial-photo shop-making-dotted-dashed-lines-complex-path.html

  • How to create command line java client

    I have a java servlet FileClient.java and am invoking it thru POST method from the html file. How can I create command line java client so that I can execute this class file from windows command prompt.
    e.g. java FileClient <argument>
    TIA

    > .. there's also a "won't work".
    I could post a sample...I know that you can instantiate and call aservlet,
    or even write your own servlet container - butit's
    still a local instance. He can't invoke his remote
    servlet by calling its class on the client like he
    suggested.HttpURLConnection in main.Only if his Servlet has a main method. Which wouldn't really make it a servlet anymore.
    OP said he wants to invoke it from command-line using
    java -cp . TheServletClass
    He said he has a servlet called FileClient. And he can't invoke a servlet directly that way, without building a wrapper that starts it, making it more than a servlet, and it definitely won't execute on the server. That's my whole point. I never wanted to say you can't write a command-line program that invokes a servlet on a remote server. I do it myself after all.
    I guess I should have expressed myself more clearly.

    If i use no-zero in field catalog i will be able to get blank values for all 0.0, but thats not required.
    Can u help me out how to crate blank line after one set of values(text1, text2, text3) in alv display
    Thanks

    Hi,
    If i use no-zero, then all 0.0 will be replaced by blank, but that is not required.
    I want only blank line to be displayed after set of line items.
    Skip doesn't help in alv. Secondly if i append blank work area i will be getting 0.0 as it is a currency field.
