Hi Vishal,
Thanks for your replies.
I am able to see the my folder
in Content Administration -> KM Content ->
pcd>portal content>Test
In the property i set the following value.
displaymode=select,maxproviderprio=30,entriesperrow=5,entrypointsprefix=/entrypoints,
sharedcontent=/wpccontent/Cross-Site Content;/documents/MyFolder;/pcd/Test
When I tried to create entry point in Web Page Composer, I click the browse to find the Test folder.

  • How to create restore point in windows server 2008 service pack1

hi i am bhaskar ... how to create restore point in windows server 2008 service pack1 and how to restore system from a restore point in windows server 2008 service pack1.. is this option available or not ? what is the difference between shadow copies and
restore point ? instead of restore point we have this shadow copies option in windows server 2008 ?Bhaskar

AFIK, Restore Points doesn’t exist in Windows 2008.
Volume Shadow Copy option can be used to achieve:
Creating consistent backups of open files and applications
Creating shadow copies for shared folders
Creating transportable shadow copies using a hardware provider — for backup, testing and data mining scenarios
Quickly recovering and restoring files and data
It is more like a file, data, application backup.

  • How to create Mount Point in Linux

    Hi,
I m new to Linux OS, want to install Oracle EBS R12 on OEL 5.6 . I have downloaded s/w and installed all required packages for OEL.
Now i want to create Staging directory at location /u01/StageR12.
Can anyone guide me for how to create Mount point /u01 and how to assign space of 53 GB to it.... ?
    Reply awaited...

    You're on the right path.
Keep in mind though what you need partition wise just for o/s install. You should have at least 3 partitions:
    - a ?? GB partition for the / (root) mount (the size depends on what you will install and how much space you will need for running that s/w)
    - a 128MB or larger partition for the /boot mount
    - a ?? GB partition as swap space mount (typically rule of thumb is 2x RAM for 4GB and lower, else around 25% of total RAM)
I would not create separate partitions for the old-style +/u01+ mount points for Oracle. That part of the OFA (Oracle Flexible Architecture) standards are old and pre-ASM and pre- automated Oracle managed data files.
You need space for installing an Oracle Home. I do not see the need for a dedicated mount point for that. I use the root file system.
You need space for the actual database. If you use Oracle ASM, then I would create raw partitions (across disks) to be used for database storage. These will not be mounted or formatted. Instead these will be assigned to an ASM diskgroup (and striped by default) and used for database storage.
If you do not use ASM, then you need a cooked file system for storage of database file. In that case separate mount point(s) make sense. Also, it makes sense not to manually apply the old OFA standards, but instead use Oracle managed database files. In that case you need a single mount point (e.g.<i>/oracledb</i>) - and set that as the base directory for Oracle to use for the database. Oracle will create an OFA compliant database directory tree and files under that base directory/mount point.
Keep in mind that the more mount points you have for the database, the more difficult your job becomes to manage storage. The easiest is a single mount point for the database and using Oracle to manage the OFA compliant side for you on that mount point.
Also, you cannot and should not attempt some kind of manual striping layout of the database across multiple mountpoints. This may have made some sense back 10+ years ago. It no longer does.

  • How to create watch points in ECC 6.0

    Hi Experts,
How to create watch points in ECC 6.0
    Thanks.

    Dear Kalyan,
The moment the debugger starts, there will be an icon for "Watchpoint" exactly after F5, F6, F7, F8 and a big STOP red button on the application tool bar. Once you click on that Watchpoint button, it will take you to the screen where you need to define the exact field and its relative operator along with the condition to be checked.
Hope this is clear. No navigation needed for this.

  • Web Page Composer: Problems creating entry points for iViews

Hi experts, i´ve been trying to add an iView to a page. I know i have to create an entry point to a folder created on the PCD.
I followed instructions on help link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/06/4776399abf4b73945acb8fb4f41473/content.htm
Now, when i try to create a new entry point link to the pcd folder i don´t see any navigation that can get me to the pcd.
Actually When i click the browse button it opens the Web Content folder where i can see 2 subfolders
    - Cross-Site Content
    - Sites
    I also have this options:
    - Favorites
    - Personal Documents
    - Recently used
    - Common folders
    - Public Documents
None of it seems to be the access to the PCD.
    I´ll appreciate any help
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sandeep,
i don't know if your problem was solved already.
Here a quick overview of all steps, that you need to perform.
    1. Make your PCD available in the KM.( See Link below for details) Your folders need to have 'Read'-Permission for the Everyone-group!
    2. Search your iView-folder now in the KM. Look at Details -> Properties -> Access Links -> ID
    3. Provide this ID in the wpcDragExplorerEntryPoints . (Should be sharedcontent=/wpccontent/Cross-Site Content;/documents/MyFolder; /pcd)

  • How to create bullet points in BoilerPlate 'Text' item...

    Hi,
I have a requirement of generating a form. In that form there is a static section which contains bullet points. Is there a way to create bullet point in oracle reports.
I am using paper layout. As output is required in PDF format.
    Thanks

    Hi Arshad
You may try this trick to introduce bullet character in Reports on Windows platform:
    For Boilerplates:
In Application such as Wordpad, hold Alt and press 0149 on numeric pad. This will insert a bullet mark in the editor. Copy this text and paste it in Reports Paper Layout.
    For Fields:
Create a formula column (Character type) in the same group as the column that you need to bullet. Return the following result:
    return ' ' || :<your_column>;
All the values based on this Formula column will display a Bullet mark.
    Hope this helps.
p.s. character 149 is bullet character in most fonts.
    Regards

  • How to create Entry

    Hi
In one of our client which employees salary is taxable , they are issued separate Cheques . They donot have Salary Account
How to handle this scenario . Do we need to create these employees as separate g/l accounts or some other procedure can be followed.
    Thanks

    Hi Saini,
You create a user-defined field for employees and link it to the table name "OHEM".For creating the user-defined fields,
Tools->Customization->user defined fields management.Define the user defined fields under accounting in the header level. Then u create three G/L accounts like salary, epf and bank account.now go to Financials->Journal Entry. You can see the user defined fields at header level. In that drop down list,u click the name of that employee and u post the transactions .
    Ex:
                      ___Debit___
    salary a/c 5000
    EPF a/c      1000
                                               credit
    Bank a/c                             6000
Thats it...when u view the entry u can also see "To which employee, the transaction has happened".
    Thank you

  • How to create a folder under BEA Repository through code

    Hi All,
We are trying to create a folder under the BEA Repository through Java code. Could you please post the right API for it.
We have tried the InodeManger class and its addNode method, which is good for creating any content, but we are trying to create the folder itself from the code.
    Thanks
    Veera

    Hi Veera,
You're on the right track. The INodeManager.addNode method is the way to go. You just need to specify an object class name of a folder object class. Out of the box there's one, and this is configurable for your given repository's configuration. Once you add nodes of this type they'll be badged as folders in the portal admin tools.

    Hi,
directly we cannot insert to the database table using se11.
but wecan do it through report using INSERT statement.
    Insert dbtab ABAP statement.
    Syntax Diagram
    INSERT dbtab
    Syntax
    INSERT { {INTO target VALUES source }
           | {     target FROM   source } }.
    Effect
The INSERT statement inserts one or more rows specified in source in the database table specified in target. The two variants with INTO and VALUES or without INTO with FROM behave identically, with the exception that you cannot specify any internal tables in source after VALUES.

  • How to create mount point from external drive directory

    Hi,
Is it possible to create a mount point pointing directly to an external drive directory?
For example I would like to have /Volumes/Media point to my external eSATA drive /eSATA/Media
What I am trying to achieve is that I can see a virtual drive in Finder called "Media"

  • How to create entries in sm30 without transport request

    Hi all!
I would like to make entries in a  table using sm30 but I dont want  transport request popup to come up.
Is it possible to disable the transport process for that table?
I have been told that if I change delivery class from C to A the problem will get resolved .
But it is still askinf for transport request.
    Regards,
    Rachel

    Hi Rachel,
Ideally when we give the delivery class as 'A' and create tab.maintenance generator with the radio button 'No or User Recording routine', it will not ask you for the transport request.
When we want to transport the entries, you need to change the class as 'C' and also change the radiobutton option in tmg screen as 'Standard Recording routine'.
If the problem still exists, please regenerate the tab.maintenance and the entries in the table with del.class as 'A', and select radiobutton option to 'No or User Recording routine'.
    This should help.
    Thanks,

  • How to fix Entry Point dll error?

Premiere Elements has been running OK for a couple of years, had to replace C drive. After reloading Premiere Elements 4 I get the following error (Vista).
?resolveEntity@DefaultHandler@xercesc_2_2@@UAEPAVInputSource@2QBG0@Z could not be loaced in the dynamic link library xerces-c_2_7.dll
    Thanks

BTW, when you replaced your C drive, you didn't just make a copy of the disc's files and copy them to the new drive, did you?
This often doesn't work. It's  a much better idea to re-install your software after you've installed the operating system. Otherwise, problems like you're describing are pretty common.
