I want to create a game in flex3 (action script project). I
have created game in flash 8 and flash cs3 to run from cd. But I
dont know how create a game using as3 in flex 3 for cd. I am new in
flex. can anyone guide me? I just need a guidance of what should I
do or maintain to run the game from cd?

Flex produce final output in .swf file, which same as flash
output, So whatever you compile from Flex it will produce one .swf
into Bin folder, that you can use for running it from CD.

When you say system is automatically creating release..as far as i know...it should be referencing a PO..correct...in the releases window..
can you pull that up..and see if you can get any clue..bcz that PO would BPA...
Also I am not that much into Iproc...I don't know...whether Iproc has some other setups

I am creating a service entry sheet from the PO but I am getting an error of u201CPlease maintain services or limits Message no. SE029- Diagnosis(You cannot enter data until the PO item has been maintained correctly) u201C
The document type of the PO is standard NB, account assignment category is Q- (Proj make to order) and the item category is D(service). Then I am trying also create a PR using account assignment category is Q- (Proj make to order) and the item category is D(service) but still cannot proceed, a message asking me to enter a service entry number. What I know the process is create a PO(maybe based from PR) then post the GR then create a service entry sheet in ML81N but I cannot proceed. Just creating a PR or PO using those mentioned account assignment and item category and getting an error of need to enter a service entry sheet number.

Transaction Code : ML81N
1)To open the respective Purchase Order, Click on the u2018Other Purchase Orderu2019, then enter the Purchase Order No.
2)Click on the u2018Create Entry Sheetu2019 icon(3rd Icon on Top-Left)
3)Give Short Text (e.g. R/A Bill No. 1) and top service entry sheet number also generated.
4)Click u2018Service Selectionu2019 Icon on the Bottom of the Screen.
5)For the 1st Time, when we are making Service Entry Sheet for a respective Purchase Order, we need to u201CAdopt Full Quantityu201D by clicking the Check box next to it, then Enter. (*For the next time, no adoption is required, just continue)
6)Select the respective Services by clicking on the Left Hand Side, then Click u2018Servicesu2019 (Adopt services) icon on the Top.
7)Give the completed Quantity, then Click u2018Acceptu2019 icon(a green flag on the top)
8)Save .
9)Service Entry Sheet is SAVED and account posting made.

How to create a JavaMe library that runs on all devices?

I have the Java ME 3.0 SDK. If I start a Java ME project (Midlet) I have to choose a device that I'm developing for. While I want to create an 'Engine' library that runs on any device. This library won't use any device specific libraries. So if I make different midlets for different devices they can all use the same generic 'Engine' library.
I've googled a lot on this already and did quite some reading in the documentation of Java ME but didn't find any info on how to do this. I found a way to convert Java projects to midlets with the J2ME plugin for eclipse, but then I'd have to reconvert my Engine project to midlets for every device I want to support every time I make a change in the code of my 'Engine' library.

How to create a database for sample code from Tutorial/Book?

I want to try out the sample code from [http://shop.oreilly.com/product/0636920013471.do] for the book SQL Pocket Guide 3rd Ed.
I have downloaded the oracle vm/appliance for oracle 11g2 and I have started sqlplus as sysdba.
I'm feeling overwhelmed with these links describing how to create a database:

(1) What is the command to list the existing databases?
(2) What is the command to delete an existing database?
(3) When creating a new database with the create database command, is it necessary to specify the logfile, character set, national character set, datafile, sysaux datafile, undo tablespace, temp table space? Do these have reasonable defaults? I'm not sure what proper directories are to specify for Linux and the examples are for windows.
Can someone give me a simplified create database command to create a database called 3rdEdPocketGuide? Should I follow the example at [http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Oracle-7-HOWTO-3.html] and instead of orcl use 3rdEdPocketGuide?
(4) What command do I use to execute the script that comes with the book SQL Pocket Guide 3rd Ed? This is the script that has all the drop table, create table and insert commands in it.
(5) What command do I use in sqlplus to set the current default database prior to running this script? Perhaps this is the connect command? I don't want my script to create tables in the system database.
(6) I tried the command "connect 3rdEdPocketGuide" and it prompted for a password! Yikes! What password? Do I need to specify a password when I create a database? I cannot tell if I have successfully created such a database or it is just prompting me for a password to thwart malicious users. Is it is possible to create databases which don't require a password or maybe a zero length password?

How to create a .mdf SQL Server database from a Data-Tier Application file that has data?

This is a noob question, though I do use SQL Server databases all the time with Entity Framework when I code in C# using Visual Studio 2013. The development environment is found below at [A]. I am trying to make a clone of a SQL Server 2008 R2
database (.mdf) that exists online. I can read, connect and work with this database in Visual Studio 2013, but I wish to make a local copy of the database, as an .MDF file. Somewhere in my notes I have a way of creating a local copy from
an online database when using Visual Studio but I forgot how (it seems, reviewing my notes, that it deals with ADO.NET which is deprecated in Visual Studio 2013 these days, or so it seems). So I'm looking for another way. What I did was create
(or export) a "Data-Tier Application File" from the online SQL Server database, with data, and it seems to have worked in that this Data-Tier Application file exists on my hard drive and seems to have data in it ("SQL Server Replication Snapshot"
is the format it seems). It contains skeleton code to create a database, but when I tried to execute it with SQL Server 2014 Management Studio, I got a bunch of errors.
So my question is:
1) Can I somehow create a .MDF SQL Server Database from an Data-Tier Application file that has data? What tool do I use? I saw this link, http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/2639.how-to-use-data-tier-application-import-and-export-with-a-windows-azure-sql-database.aspx
and it relates to Azure, but is there a tool for C#Visual Studio 2013, standalone?

to read, update, delete the online database file, but strangely not to download it (the service I use has a tool for backup, but not for download).
3) same question as 2), but for Visual Studio 2013? I don't think so, since I notice none of the templates even mentions ADO.NET anymore, but instead they go with Entity Framework. Using EF I can of course do anything I want with the online database
(CRUD), but it remains online. Maybe there's a switch to make a local copy? I guess I could write a short program to suck all the data out of the online database and put it into a new, duplicate database having the same tables, that I create on
my localhost, but my question here is if there's an easier way than this, maybe a tool or command I can run from inside Visual Studio?
Any advice on any of the above questions is appreciated.

"2. what do you mean by online file?" - I mean the SQL Server database file is on a remote web server that I rent from, but I am not the administrator of. I can access my database using SQL Server Authentication, but nothing more.

Create trigger not audited when run from sql developer Version 3.2.20.09

Creating or editing a trigger is not being stored in the audit table when run from sql developer.
Here is a sample script to show the issue:
Grant Connect,create table,create trigger To testuser Identified By testuser;

If I edit the trigger from All Arround Automations PL/SQL Developer the CREATE TRIGGER statement does get audited.

Yes - and it works just fine once you ENABLE AUDITING. Your scripIt does NOT include the statements or code used to ENABLE auditing and, specifically, enable auditing for triggers.
Auditing doesn't just 'happen'; you have to enable it and you have to specify any non-default auditing that you want to perform.

How to create a new view by copying from standard view in IC webclient?

I need to enhance a sap standard component (BP_Factsheet), inside it I need to create a new view by copying from an existing standard view (Acitivities). However when I try to make a copy, I was asked for destination BSP application, I entered the Z-Application which I used when defining enhancement for the component. After the copy, I don't see the new view.
Then I tried the destination BP_factsheet, instead of the z-application, then after the copy, I can see the new view. However since it's in SAP application, it seems like it's a MOD, not enhancemnet, and inside the new view, the classes (for context, context nodes, etc.) are not in custom namespace (not starting with Z).
So please let me know how can I make a copy of sap standar view in custom namespace.

When copying you can put any BSP name..normally the practice is to prefix the standard name with a Z.
Secondly when you want to make changes to the individual classes and methods you need to right click and say enhance. Then the AZ class names etc would be generated. The view should appear in the component wherein you copied the original view from.

How to Create/Modify/Delete a query view from the web template in BI 7.0

In BW 3.5, the Query Selection View web item was introduced for users to create a query view to save the navigational state of a query. This web item was also available to modify and delete an existing query view.
The Query Selection View web item does not exist in BI 7.0. I see the drop down web item can be used to display the query views associated to a query.
Can anyone share how to create,modify,save or delete a query view on the web in BI 7.0

Sanjay, we experienced the same issue. Below are a few pieces of information that may be of help: 1-The Save As button on the 0ANALYZER template saves the query to the portal. From Bex Web or Bex Analyzer, you have no access to these saved views. We created a ZANALYZER copy of the 0ANALYZER template and removed the Save As button. 2- If you right mouse click on any item in the query results grid of Bex Web, you get a small menu. Clicking on the menu item Save View will save the view to BI. You do not have the ability to delete the saved views from Bex Web. However, you can delete them from Bex Analyzer. This was not an option for us since most of our users are using Bex Web. 3- On the same menu, clicking on Bookmark, saves the navigation and also opens the Internet Explorer Favorites maintence window. The navigation is saved as an entry into the users Internet Explorer favorites where they can organize and delete their entries. However, deleting the favorite does not delete the entry for the bookmark in BI. The bookmarks are stored in table RSWR_DATA. Program RSWR_BOOKMARK_REORG can be used to manage the saved bookmarks. We are loading RSWR_DATA into a chracteristic so that we can query the information in order to help us manage it. How to create a table in MS Access from Labview using ActiveX?

I want to transfer datas from Labview to Access using activeX method. My only problem is to find out how to create a new table (array) in Access from the Labview program.
Remarks: I use Labview 6i and MS Access 2000.
For the moment I can write and read datas of Access from Labview.
If someone could help me... that would be grate!

This is off the Microsoft MSDN site "creating an external table". I think you can drop the last step.:
Open the database you want to create the table in. If it is the current database, use the CurrentDb function to return an object variable that represents the current database. If it isn�t the current database, use the OpenDatabase method to open the database you want.
Use the CurrentDb function to create a Database object that points to the current database.
Use the CreateTableDef method of the Database object to create a table definition for the Microsoft Access table.
Use the CreateField method of the TableDef object to create one or more fields in the Microsoft Access table.
Use the Append method of the Fields collection to add the new field or fields t
o the Microsoft Access table.
Use the Append method of the TableDefs collection to create the Microsoft Access table.
Use the TransferDatabase method to create the external table in the specified folder.
Use the Delete method of the TableDefs collection to delete the Microsoft Access table definition.

How to create a smallest file size pdf from indesign CS4 document

How to create a smallest file size pdf (suitable for upload to a website) from indesign CS4 document which contains multiple illustrator CS4 illustrations.
I have chosen the "smallest file size option" but the pdf file is over 30MB, can anyone help please.

One trick is to
Set the placed graphics to have a transparency of 99.9% (you can do this with Find/Change and select Objects)
This is enough to force the graphics throught the Transparency Flattener
Next set the Transparency Blend Space to RGB (Edit>Transparency Blend Space)
Next set a custom Transparency Flattner Preset Edit>Transparency Flattner
Next
Use File>Export and choose
Smallest file size
PDF Compatibility Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3)
In Advanced Section - go to transparency and selec the new Flattener Preset you created.
*this will convert your vectors to raster, but it should reduce your file size
