How to create HFM extended analysis's dsn

I have configure my DSN info in HFM server, but I still can't see any dsn in the HFM extend analysis. So...is there any other step to create HFM extended analysis's dsn? Thank you

This depends on the version of HFM you use. In all cases you have to change the HFM server configuration, either by running the HFM Web and Server configuration utility in versions prior to 11.1, or in 11.1.x you must run the EPM Configurator and choose to reconfigure HFM on each HFM application server. In the dialog boxes you will see a field that allows for a DSN for extended analytics. Fill that in, and I think you have to restart the servers afterward. Once that's done successfully, you will see the DSN listed in the extended analytics menu from the web client.

Hi,
The documents are supposed to be created automatically. You do not have to generate them, if the relevant components were activated. Otherwise, use 1KE9 for PCA, OKBC for CO documents and GCU5 for S/L.

Hi,
First go to RSA1 and click source system .Rt click your data source and select cutomization for extractor.select
Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)---->Profitability Analysis->
Here you can create transsaction data souce or hierarchy data source etc.
This is where I guess you can start from.

How to create a view object and attach with extended AM

Hi,
I tried to create new vo and attach this vo with the extended AM. But it is throwing error like 'PC.NAME : invalid identifier' (Actually this PC.NAME is exiting one).
Now i want to know how to create a view object similar like seeded one but with one additional condition in the where clause.
It is possible though extension, but i want to create two view object similar like seeded one, one with some other condition in the where clause
and another one with some other condition.
So for my requirement, i'll extend one VO and i'll add my condition but how to do it for second condition.
But i want same seeded VO with two different condition.
Any suggestions please,

There is no need to attach the newly created VO with extended AM. You need to attach the same with the standard AM.

Shopping cart in SRM is equal to PR in R/3.If it is Classic scenario we can customise to create PR in backend for the shopping cart in EBP , but in ECS directly PO will be created against the shopping cart in EBP and it will replicate to R/3 system.

Yes, U can create ICP Reports in HFM, using ICP Transaction Reports, In workspace, Administration-->Manage Documents-->Reports--> ICP Transaction Reports, there you can select the Etity, ICP Entity, Or, Accounts, Or Tolerace Amt, so based on these contents you can generate the reports.

i have installed 64 bit drivers and when use following command

I tried to create a test scenario in PI7.1 / Intergration Builder, I already defined 3Operation mapping and 3Message mapping in Enterprise Builder and test good.
1 Operation mapping is reading input, and output in "ReveiverDetermine" structure.
other 2 mappings are real mapping program.
My question is how to create test scenario for it? I know I should create a "Receiver Determine" with "Extended" option, however can anybody point out a good guide with details?

http://www.caucho.com/projects/jdbc-mysql/index.xtp and downloaded Caucho driver and installed the jar ---- caucho-jdbc-mysql-0.2.7.jar in my classpath..
this is how i embedded the code

lastErr = "Cannot load the driver, reason:"+e.toString();
nothing seems to work with code..
Unable to proceed..Any piece of code would be of great help..

According to the installation instructions for that driver:
The driver is com.caucho.jdbc.mysql.Driver
The url is jdbc:mysql-caucho://hostname:port/database
You used something else for the driver name. So it doesn't work. By the way, I found those instructions here: http://www.caucho.com/projects/jdbc-mysql/

is OBIEE connected to ORACLE DATA BASE without giving TNS information?............in UNIX OPERATING SYSTEM.
