SQLDeveloper has a nice tool which would create installation script for a database application: Deploying an Oracle Database Application However it is not automatic - you have to choose objects to export and tables to dump rows every time you create an export script. Is there a way to automate it or maybe another tool to create an installation script? I though of Introducing oraddlscript | devioblog but it doesn't seem to create a file invoking creating all other objects in the appropriate order. Oracle exp tools are also inappropriate because I need a seperate file for each object so that I could commit them to SVN and keep track of changes.

DDL Wizard Seems fine, but it required Oracle export using exp. And exp cannot export tables with BINARY_DOUBLE columns or nested tables. And installing Oracle Database link is not about installing application.

If you want to create an endeca application so as to integrate with Product Catalog system such as ATG using ATG 10.1.1 or above , then create an endeca application using the discover-data-catalog-integration reference application. Steps for doing this are documented in ProductCatalogDTGuide

To delete an Endeca Application that you have created in Windows/linux
1. Navigate to the control directory of the application that you want to remove and execute the script
runCommand.bat --remove-app (Removes the provisioning information with EAC admin console)
2. Remove the instance configuration files for the application using the emgr_update command line utility
emgr_update.bat host localhost:8006 app_name My_app action remove_all_settings prefix My_prefix
3. You can then explicitly delete the directory in the Endeca_apps directory where you have initially created your application.
If you are using discover-data-catalog-integration, you can remove the CAS Record Store Instances by navigating to CAS/bin directory and executing
./component-manager-cmd.sh delete-component -n {YOUR_APP_RECORD_STORE_NAME}

Go to Administration > Dimensions > Select Dimension > Select the member to want to assign acccess filters to :- Assign Access
Repeat process for all access permissions.

If I understand the tutorial correctly I should do
something like this to start the map:

and something like this to add a new instance of the
class every time:
myMAP.put(myString, new myClass());
So this would result a link between the Strings and
the instance of the Class?

How to create multiple pages using flex application.

Hi all,
i am doing flex application which contains 5 different
pages,
to do this i have used viewstack component to navigate
between the pages.
this is working fine if all my pages are of same size. each
page as different background image.
but i have to create pages with different sizes.
my first and second page are small and remaining pages are
big.
when i navigate to 3rd or 4th page, it is showing scrollbar
inside swf.
but i want scrollbar for browser window not inside my swf
anyone please guide me how to create pages in flex
application.
i have one more doubt, if my page contains some html links ,
how to open those links,
is it posible to open the link in new window.
please help me , i have no idea how to create web
applications using flex

i am using package application to learn more about apex.here i have face some problems ,
On page no 1, there are an intractive report,but it shows only Customer Name, Referencable, Users, Summary, Web Site, Category ,Status column in intractive report but there are more column in Report Attributes ,
Plese tell me how does developer hide the unnessary column in intractive report on page no 1.
2nd Problem is,
i am not getting how & where developer assign & pass request LAST_PAGE_VISITED .Developer create an processes name Load Data on page no 1

Steps for creating TRANSPORT PACKAGE
Go to SE80 and in the obj edit mode select Select DEVELOPMENT COORDINATION tab where u can giv ur PACKAGE NAME and create the package
Select your Software Component ,Transport Layer
Package Type = NOT A MAIN PACKAGE and create a request
and save it.
Assign points if useful..

How to create a servlet in PAR Application

Hi Experts,
I want to create a servlet in PAR application. This servlet should be capable of accessing the functions of other java files included in PAR Application. Servlet should be capable of accessing the functions say doContent(req, resp) of any class of PAR application.
Is it possible to create Servlet in PAR application?
I created one servlet but unable to declare its information in Deployment Descriptor.
Because the deployment which is provide ie portalapp.xml doesnt allow us to write tags like <servlet-name>, <servlet-mapping>, <url-pattern> etc. These are necessary for declaration of servlet.
So how can i write a complete working Servlet under PAR application?
Please help and replies will be appreciated.

How to create a scripting language in java?

Hello,
All that I want to do is to create a scripting language in java. I�m familiar with javacc, jsr223 and other things but don�t know how to start. The language syntax is java 5 syntax with some change and I want to generate java source code from small scripts. In fact I don�t know how other languages (like groovy) are created.

For a start, generally when I hear "scripting language" I'm thinking interpretter, not a system which creates compiled (or compilable) code.
I get the impression that what you're talking about is what I'd call a "preprocessor" language, some extra syntax added to java which the preprocessor renders into ordinary java.
As far as complexity is concerned, much depends on how deeply involved the extra syntax is with the embedded ordinary Java. Does you preprocessor need to understand the java, or is it just embedded as text? How easilly identified are your preprocesor statments? It's a lot easier to do this if preprocessor lines are instantly identifiable from Java code (e.g. start with a #).
Basically the stages are always the same;
1) Lexical analysis i.e. picking out words, operators, numbers, quoted strings.
2) Construct a syntax tree.
3) Generate code (in this case Java).
Now, in this case, some of the nodes in the syntax tree may simply be chunks of undigested Java.
