If you have a manifest file you want to add:
jar cfm myjar.jar manifest.mf classfiles...

Java is likely not the tool to use here, as symlinks are not present in Windows while "pure" Java attempts to be platform independent. You could use Runtime.exec to execute the ln -s command

Hey tell me one thing your BAPI having CURD methods. See you are getting data from BAPI and pull the data in Table in WDJ. So if u can do any action it will comes trough BAPI.
If your BAPI having CURD methods. You can implement CURD methods in WDJAVA also.
@ You said you are getting null values from the database. Please let me know what code you have to wrote for CURD. Please tell me.

Can new folder be added into a war using jar commands?

Hi All,
I am working on an installer creation attempt to make some changes on a war at the client side to inject my changes into it. As a result i am in need to modify the war using jar commands and have found some success.
I user the following command.
D:\MyWarLab>jar uf webtop.war customThis command helped me in adding my changes inside a folder named 'custom' placed at location 'D:\MyWarLab' into the 'custom' folder inside my 'webtop.war'.
Now this worked as expected since the 'custom' folder was already present inside the war.
Now my next step is to inject a new folder named 'customA' inside
webtop.war ->WEB-INF -> classes -> com -> application. This customA folder would contain the java class files i have created.The customA folder does not already exist at the above mentioned location, hence the need to create it.
I have not been able to find a jar command to add new folders at desired locations of the war.
Could you please validate my attempt and suggest a command to fulfil my requirement.

Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 10.1.2.0.0 or 10.1.2.0.1 versions are not supported with Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 5.0 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.0. It is recommended that version 10.1.2.0.2 be obtained and installed.
Which implies Oracle AS 10.1.2.x is some what certified on RHEL 5.x
I think it would be better if you get in touch with Oracle Support regarding this .

To create a single object is simple:Object o;
o = Class.forName("TestClass").newInstance();But how do I create an array of objects, when the class of objects is known only by name? (Can't use Object[] because even though an Object[] array can be filled with "TestClass" elements only, it Cannot be casted to a TestClass[] array)

db structure in SQL Explorer. All works. But now I need to get access directly to mysql. For example with a view to set encoding of some column, or set permissions, change user password, etc.
I found about many different tools and methods in Microsoft portal. But the purpose of these tools, how to install it and how to use it is a very entangled (After several attempts to find out what's what two weeks later I found on my computer
three dozen programs with unknown purpose. I doubt that I need to install so many tools to just add the user in mysql).

try to create complaint manually and before save it go into debugging mode (\h in command window) and press save. debugging window opens and put a break point at function module CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN. this will help you to identify the information that has to be sent to the FM to create a complaint. write code according to the information you found and after that call , CRM_ORDER_SAVE function module to save the transaction. in this fm ET_SAVED_OBJECTS you can find the newly created transaction id.
for new complaints you can use GUID_CREATE FM to create new guid and you can give this value to FM as you find and also to the CRM_ORDER_SAVE fm. call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT finally. hope it helps you.
