How to create LR (2.*) web templates? Hi

Hi,
I make my web sites with Dream weaver. I want to create templates for LR2 in dream weaver so they have the same look and feel as my own web site. Any ideas who this can be done?
The LR web template method can not be that secret?

The Web Engine is written in LUA, . You will require the Lightroom SDK. The rest of the stuff is just .css and .html etc. so can be written in Dreaweaver. Best of luck

The problem is that Web Templates are deployed to a gallery in a site collection and aren't available in Central Admin when creating a new site collection. YOu have to create the site collection without choosing a template and then choose your web
template when you first access the root site in the site collection. Here's an article that discusses that process here:

Other than that Vesa's article is still the best one and works essentially the same in 2013 as it does in 2010.

Creating PDF from web template

Hello,
I have question on you who use creating PDF from web templates. We want to implement this opportunity in our company. We know all conditions for implementation but we didn´t see yet the final result for end user. We have SAP BW 3.5. Do you know if it´s possible use (create) some new icon on web template e.g. PDF and via this icon create the PDF file or another user-friendly solution?

hi,
For calender control, there is Date Navigator under "complex tab". You can just click and drag it and provide calender control.
One more easy way is to create a input field. In the context, create a node and attribute of type "D"(which means DATE). And bind the context to your input field under "values" in property window. While running the program, you will see an calender attached to lt on the input field.

How to use master master web templates?

Hi,
I have around 20 reporst in BW to be displayed on web. Hence I have created Web Template for each of them. Format and Layout of these web templates is exactly same. The problem is, if there is any change to layout or if any new funtionality needs to be added/removed from toolbar, I need to repeat same for all 20 web templates.
Is there anything where I can create one master web template and give reference of this template to all new templates I will create. And if I change master web template, automatically it will reflect all referencing web templates.
Can this be achieved? Please let me know.

Hi Abhijit,
One way to work this is to use the embedded templates. For example put your toolbar in a template, then embed this template (TB_WT001) into each new one that you have created. Then if you change TB_WT001, the change will be reflected wherever it is embedded.

Hi Sergey,
I assume that you mean virtual desktop storage location, which I don’t think that we can change this setting for an existing collection.
You can create a new collection, during the creation process, you will be able to select a different storage location for new VMs.

You could use datasources. You should do this in your BC4J Configuration. Then when deploying your applicaiton use the command -installDataSource (from admin.jar) to create the right datasource.
You could probably use the name of your connection + "DS" so you can also use it locally in JDeveloper as JDev seesm to create this automaticly for your Connections.

How to call a BW WEB template from R/3 and pass parameters to the report

Is it possible to call a BW web template from an R/3 system, through an abap program?
I have a BW WEB report template. This works very good, and i have 3 variables in the query.
Now, i need to invoke the BW web template from inside of an abap in R/3..
And i want to pass 3 variables from the R/3 ABAP to the BW WEB TEMPLATE.....
Is possible to call BW web templates from R/3??

You can check to see if HTTPS is configured check the instance profile parameters:
icm/plugin_<n> PROT=HTTPS,.....
icm/server_port_<n> PROT=HTTPS, .....

I want to integrate a web application consisting of several web-templates (BW 3.5) into a portal (EP 6.0) via iviews.
When called from the portal the web-templates stylesheets are replaced by portal stylesheets.
How do I force the portal to use the web-templates stylesheets.

You can define the styles you want in a *.css file then put a link in your jsp to use these styles. You can also just put the styles directly in your jsp. Either should work

How to create form or tabbed template and import excel data

Hi there
I am wanting to know how I can create a rather comprehensive template that will be copied a number of times on the same page but each time will include different data from an excel spreadsheet.
The template will need to include quite a bit of layout and placement of text and images. The fields range from data type including names, phone number, email, prices, description and address. See attached image below of what I am wanting to acheive.
I'm just not quite sure how to set this up as a form/template in indesign and what the best and fastest way would be.
There will be about 6-8 blocks to a page.
Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.
