I would agree with you if there was always an Internet connection available and the the Apple Servers were always in operation. In those instances when this is not the case, a USB installation drive is good to have. I speak from experience.

How do i reset my laptops permission without resetting my admin password?

Listen, I have a school laptop and ofcoarse they have put their own tweaked operating system on their that blocks me from accessing different parts of my laptop and opening any third party apps. As any mac person like myself I have worked my way around the permissions by using a 'ksadmin' file in a particular MacOS folder. You would think now that I have worked this out why would I need to reset my permissions. Well it's because I cannot drag anything into the applications folder and there are some games and files that the 'ksadmin' will not run. The purpose of the 'ksadmin' file is to trick the containing folder that I am actually an administartior of this laptop. So could someone please tell me how to reset my permissions without resetting the admin password. If i reset the admin pasword (I have before) they will find out!

Then, I'd give it back to them and insist on one with the factory-provided OS. Barring that, put a bootable backup/clone onto an ext HD, boot into recovery mode, wipe the drive, and restore the OS. That will be Apple's nonbutchered OS. Then, on first boot use the Setup Assistant to migrate from the backup/clone.

To download applications from the App Store, you need your Apple ID password, not your administrator account. The password will be saved for some minutes after inserting it once, so you will be able to install as many apps as you want without inserting the Apple ID password

OK, now I feel stupid. I found the request I was looking for under "Think Vantage" software and it worked great. There was two selections (I only saw the one at first) and all is great and well.

My problem is the following: I have a macbook Pro with a Bootcamp partition, which is also virtualized by Virtualbox. I managed to make it work following different online guides that share all the main little side issue: if I don't want to dismount forever your Bootcamp disk from the running OS X, I have to use some "sudo" commands that requires me to type my admin password. In order to do so, I have to open the Terminal, type the string, type the password and then, only then, I can use the virtualized version. Well, since these ones are computer machines, born to work on repetitive and tedious processes, I'd like to automate that.
I have a little script, which doesn't work, that I'm showing you (Let's say I wrote it to make it clear to you what I would like the machine to do):

    if exists "BOOTCAMP" then
--Eject BOOTCAMP Volume if Mounted

If you mean the passcode to unlock the iPad then you will need to connect it to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :

My 101 year old mother wants to read with a eReader because it allows large fonts. Many people have 'fixed' her computer. Windows 7 will only install ADE against an administrative password - which nobody seems to know. I don't want to go the route of cracking DRM. I am sorry CharlottesSon but with Adobe Digital Editions it will be necessary for you to know the administrator password to install the software. I would recommend contacting your computer manufacturer for the process to recover this password if it is no longer known.

It is best to get a disk. Ring an Apple store and they may be able to provide a replacement for your original disk.
The other benefit of owning a disk is it can be used to repair your hard drive.
Without a disk it is like driving a car without a spare. Most of the time you don't need it except for the time when you do, and then you are stranded.

Who did you purchase the MBP from. They should have the password.
An early 2011 MBP probably came with Snow Leopard. Use the original OSX disks and reinstall 10.6.
There is a possibility that it came with Lion (10.7). In that case boot the MBP holding the OPTION+COMMAND+R keys. That should connect you to the Apple servers and install the original OSX.

I got a very strange requirement in which i want to delete a object from QA envirement. One way to delete it is delete the object in developement and save it in a transport request. And transport that request to QA.
But can't delete the object from Dev environment. So is there any other way by which i can do this.

You need not worry about deleting the objects in QA now.
Have the set of objects which you will not be tranporting to PROD.
After your project is live and during support before handholding to the customer, clean your system DEV,QUA.
