How to create Model for WD workflow?

Hi!
I have the task to develop a workflow using WebDynpro and NetWeaver MDM for Master Data maintaining (Exactly for creating a new Business Partner).
In one of my views there is a consistency check with nine inputfields, the user fills them out, and starts the search whether the Business Partner to be created exists already in the repository.
If there exists a Business Partner (or maybe more) like filled out before, I want to display them in a table.
I want to fill out this table using a Model thatswhy I need to create a Web Dynpro Model so that I can do the model mapping for the table.
Models in NWDS can be created from Web Services.I guess this model should be created from a Java class, but I do not know what kind of java class do I need for this.
(I have already implemented a class which connects to the MDM repositroy.)
So what should I implement in this class?
I guess I have to declare nine variables for the inputfields, but what kind of methods do I need?

Hello:
you can use the standard WebServices created for MDM that are included on your MDM packages.
Install them on the webAS and you can call them over. As far as I know, there's such webService that enables searching on ther Repository

I have already tried your solution, however in that case I get the error - "UncaughtSys.ArgumentNullException: Sys.ArgumentNullException:
Value cannot be null.Parameter name: context"...
Also, I tried removing SP.SOD.executeFunc
from my code, but no success :(

How to create a model access class ???

HI,
Can somebody tell me how to create a Model Access Class. In the Application Set, i can find the Model Access folder, but it has a list of application sets which is already created and the system asks to select a Application set. I need to create a new application set. Please help.

Hi Shiny,
I would suggest you not to create a new application set.
If you are enhancing a standard PCUI application, i would suggest you to create new model access classes and assign them to the same application set which is assigned with the standard model access class for that application.
Creating a model access class can be done through the transaction SE24(like any other Z-class).
Go to transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C and you could assign this newly created Model access class to the standard application set. This can be done under Application Element->Application Set->MOdel Access Class.
If you still feel the need to create a new application set altogether, it can be done from Trx CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C->Layout of PCUI-> Application Element->Application set.

How to create good object model?

Does anybody know how to create good object model?
Again and again I have to create different object models in various projects. I have to solve a lot of problems.
- Define all entities
- Create objects for it
- Define relations (ususlly i use SQL Databases)
- Define methods to load/edit/save/delete entities.
- Define methods to search and featch set of entities
- Define events for entities (fired when it change)
- the biggest problem is the events for collections. If i got the collection of entities for filter [FirstName = 'Sam'] i want to recieve event NewEntityAdded(), when new entity with FirstName='Sam' is created. But i want not to recieve event when that new entity's FirstName = 'Jack'.
Do anybody know good book or set of articles for such a questions?

I have the same issue: chaging the background color of some column headers.
My application is using a custom skinning and when i had headerClass property with a custom class defined in a separate css file, the page generated specified first the class from the skinning and then my new class definition. But my skinning is specifying a background color so the color is not overriden. Any idea?

Here we have CRM_UI_FRAME.
Like this so many Components are there.
I want how to create our own component.
I created it as follows.
Open the Transaction code bsp_wd_cmpwb.
Provide Z Name in the Component.
Zcomponent
Press Create button.
Go to Run Time Repository.
Press Change Mode.
Create a MODEL as ALL.
GO to Browser Component Structre.
Select View.
Provide View name.
Create the View.
Go to view Layout.
Provide the code like this.

In order to get value, you can write a simple code in the event_handler:

var1 = LR_BOL->GET_PROPERTY_AS_STRING('FIELD').
take a look at lr_bol methods so that you can see the set and get methods.

Flash CS4 - how to create event flow from children to parents?

In my opinion natural event flow direction is from children
to its parants.
E.g. when in dialog box buttons are pressed it is natural to
inform only
this dialog box about these actions. When dialog box can't
handle particular
event then passes it to its parent and so on .
Unfortunately this direction is not well supported by Flash.
To achieve
support for this event direction it is necessary to call
parent.dispatchEvent() with bubbling option off. This
solution is
inconvenient because sometimes I can't predict what event
types will be
triggered inside dialog components. Most likely there is no
function to
catch all events which have no defined handlers in dialog in
order to be
possible to pass them one level higher.

- More than likely the extension RPD was not used by anything else when Siebel Analytics first started using it, no doubt the 'RP' is repository, so use 'Definition' or 'Design' as you like. Im pretty sure there is nothing in the documentation but i've not checked, maybe you could check and let us know?

Another use of you dynamic variable might be 'LAST_ETL_DATE' or somethng similar which might implement with your event polling table. By including the Variable within a Business Model, all cache for the Business Model is purged whenever the Variable's value changes.

connect dimension to first level and after that connect that level to another one and so on. For level - each additional outgoing connection means additional hierarchy.
