How to Create Multiple Partitions in Windows?

I have just carried out a clean install of Lion then used Boot Camp to install Windows.
With Snow Leopard I had the ability to create multiple partitions in Windows but this seems impossible in Lion for whatever reason.
Can anyone please tell me how to achieve this?

i installed boot camp windows 7 and it works perfectly, after i tried to create two partition using disk utility for windows 7 (ms-dos) format because i really want to separate my files on other partition instead of everything on Boot Camp drive. after i restart choosing windows OS i cannot go back to windows 7.
i hold option on the keyboard but does not show window 7 so i went back to Apple ox s , found my boot camp hd on the desktop with files in it. checked boot camp assistance showing
" The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows. "
i read alot of article about but i don't seem to understand much about
i understand alot of people created these kind of topics
please if someone can help me solve this problem again
i only want an apple os , boot camp for windows 7 and 2 extra partitions for storage , my hard drive is 1TB

Also i do not have boot camp installed yet because like i said, it messed up my boot camp after i created the partition thats why i removed boot camp, right now i only have APPLE OS

How to create drive partition in window 8.1

i have number of doubt on partition of disk management. i have new dell laptop, little difficult to using the same and i want to partition of the c disk and want to create d disk, but i unable to perform the same.
when i click to the shrink volume and want to shrink the same, but a error flash out (there is no space on the disk to comple this operation).
i had understand the same and when i'm going to delete the extra partition called health, EFI system, health recovery partition. the option of the delete volume is not available.
please give me some idea for doing partition to save the data, video and picture. if there an alternative option to save the same, please share it to me.

Shrinking or using any other third party tools to create partition from C is not suggested. It usually results in complete installation of Windows, with files being lost forever.
As a workaround, you can either create and mount a VHD/VHDx or map a folder inside the C drive (in C:\) as a separate drive. This will look like a separate drive and the steps are quite easy compared to creating a new physical partition. The following links

What do you mean by "in Windows XP?"
You need to clarify.
Do you mean you want to split the XP partition into several smaller partitions, with parts of XP in each one?

How to create recovery partition in new(changed) HDD.

my new HP pavilion g4 laptop HDD have crased, then I replce it by HP care. I upload original win 7 by recovery disk(DVD) but when I open my computer it shows only one partition (C drive, there is no recovery partition and HP tool.
So how to creates recovery partition by recovery disk(DVD)...........please help me.

Creating the recovery partition
Right-click the start orb, and start 'Disk Management'.
Shrink the C: drive by let's say 20-30GB.
Then create a new Partition and assign the R: label to it and name it RECOVERY.
Then open command prompt as administrator and type: 'recimg /createimage <directory>',
In this case: 'recimg /createimage R:\' to save it on the new partition.
This step may consume a lot of time.
Now we need to register the newly created recovery image: 'recimg /setcurrent <directory>'
'recimg /setcurrent R:\'
Voila you are done.
Restoring from recovery partition
You may want to use this restoring method by default, because it is the easiest way to do so if your recovery partition is still intact. If not, look at the other recovery methods to see which suits you best. This is usually the way you reset or refresh your Windows installation if you purchase a computer from a brand like Lenovo instead of building one yourself
Press the Windows-key + C to open the charms bar or swipe in from the right.
Click Settings.
Click Change PC Settings.
Click Update & Recovery in the menu on the left.
Click Recovery.
If all your documents are safe and sound in your user folder, you can use Refresh your PC without affecting files. However I still recommend taking a back-up... If you want to do a complete reinstallation of Windows and also clean your user folder in the process then choose Remove everything and reinstall Windows.

I'm wondering how to create multiple artboards at once in an existing document. I can manually re-arrange them later, that's fine. But I often find myself needing to create 20+ artboards for some of my complex projects.
Currently, adding those 20+ artboards manually is a pain as you can imagine.

I'm using Mac OS X Snow Leopard, and I installed Windows 7 using Boot Camp.
I want to create another partition for Windows for personal files.
How can I do that?
I used some Windows applications such as Acronis but it was unable to identify partitions.

NOT on the same drive!
Buy a PC. People tend to do what you want (I don't but I only use 35GB for system under Windows and about same for a Mac OS X volume).
Boot Camp and Windows on Mac is a one size fits all and only supports
GPT 200MB
EFI 128MB
Mac OS HFS+
NTFS
4 total - MBR is a subset of GPT (all drives with GPT/GUID have at least a zero size MBR protective entry).

How to create multiple physical channels using DAQmx?

Hi, I am new to Labview.
Can anyone please help me on how to create multiple physical channels? I am following the LabVIEW examples in the NI example finder but they are only for acquiring signals from one channel.
Actually, I am using the channels of an SCXI 1520 to measure voltage signals. And one more thing, in the NI Example Finder, they are sample codes there for setting the filter in SCXI 114x.
Will this example work with an SCXI 1520, too?

There are many ways to read multiple channels in LabVIEW. First, if you look at that example that lets you set the filter setting on the 114x and you click on the 'Physical Channel Listbox' then click 'Browse' you can see that you can select multiple channels. After you select the channels and hit 'Ok' it will build a multiple channel string. This is one way to read multiple channels.
Next, you can create a 'Task' in Measurement and Automation Explorer(MAX). When you create this task select all the channels that you need to read then back in LabVIEW simply select a 'DAQmx Task Name Constant' Select the task you just created and wire that to an Input of your first DAQ VI. If you do this you do not need to have a 'DAQmx Create Physical Channel' VI or create
Task because it is already created in MAX.
When looking at example VIs you can tell if a multi-channel read is acceptable by looking at the 'DAQmx Read' and if it says NChan that means it will do a multichannel read. There are tons of example programs that will display the multichannel read capabilities.
This example may not work for the 1520 because the properties that are set could possibly be specific to the 142x. When using the 1520 though it is very likely that the properties will be very similar if not exact. You will simply put a DAQmx Channel property node on your block diagram and then look for the Lowpass filter settings properties that will most likely be in the same location. Now another way todo this without using a property node would be in MAX when you create a task set the filter settings from the Device tab in the task configure window.

AFIK, Restore Points doesn’t exist in Windows 2008.
Volume Shadow Copy option can be used to achieve:
Creating consistent backups of open files and applications
Creating shadow copies for shared folders
Creating transportable shadow copies using a hardware provider — for backup, testing and data mining scenarios
Quickly recovering and restoring files and data
It is more like a file, data, application backup.
