How to create Operating Unit/Department and Divisions in PP01 transaction

Hi,
1) Any body can tell me how to create the Operating unit, department and division in PP01 transaction.
2) How to move one department to another operating unit  and etc.
3) is ther any std report/ FM exists to get affected employees(I mean when i move one department to another operating unit (Y) i need employees who comes under this

    Hi all,
    I was recently trying to populate the attributes Department and Division dynamically for Active Directory like AccountId by doing the following in Identity Template
    cn=$accountId$,ou=$Department$,ou=$Division$,dc=com
    But this doesn't seem to work . IDM doesn't seem to recognize this.
    I will be glad if somebody can help me with this.

    * the template is only used when an account is created
    * any $attributes$ referenced in the template must be either IDM extended user attributes (i.e. always present) or in the associated resource schema map
    * can also dynamically override the identity template using the attribute �accounts[<resource>].identity�
    * if the attribute is only used for the template, set the schema mapping to IGNORE_ATTR to that IDM doesn�t try to provisioning the attribute
    Some fuzzy/non-specific suggestions:
    * may utilize workflows; i.e. modify the default create user workflow
    * may involve the resource activeSync form
    * suggestion that any referenced attributes need to be �global�; this either means set using �global.<attr>� syntax, they are marked as �required� in the schema map, and/or the the LDAP activeSync resource �populateGlobal� attribute is set to �true�

    Ironically, when creating material master for a material with a material type KMAT, plant 1000
    sales org 1000, the only distribution channel is populating in the input help (F4) is 10
    For which no ship to party neither sold to party is maintained in sales order creation

    It is bcoz, the said account groups (Sold To Party and Ship To Party) are not created in the sales area 1000 / 10 / 00.
    To create a customer master, you have to go to XD01, select the Account Group, Company Code and the respective Sales Area and execute.  In the Customer Master, you have three tabs, viz.General Data where you have give address details of the customer, then in Control Data, you have to assign the respective Recon Account and in Sales Area Data, you have to maintain the customer's sales related details.  Once you give all these datas and save the data, a customer code will be displayed at the bottom.
    Now go to VA01, input the sale order type and the sales area and execute.

    I am using R12 and need to make user enable to choose an operating unit while submitting a concurrent program report request.
    Example: Receipt Accural - Period End report is allowing to choose operating unit but other report are not.
    My question is:
    1) How to enable operating unit in concurrent program request?
    2) How to replace CLIENT_INFO statement in reports query? How 'selected operating unit' info will be passed to report?

    I guess it will passed same way as other parameters in any concurrent program. The user will provide a value in the organization parameter, and the definition of the report will have a query similar to this:
    SELECT *******
    FROM *******
    WHERE ******
    AND org_id = &p_org_id
    WHERE p_org_id would be the operating unit id provided by the user.

    one workaround i could think of is using the CM views to search for content that belongs to a category and display it in a custom way.

    this only allows you to search for the meta-data available in the CM views but not the content of an item that is available when doing a search.
    in the next major portal release we will have a publich search API that can be used for these type of requirements. you can execute your search and format the results in the way you want.

    If you are using MSSQL SERVER then try creating a stored procedure like this
    create proc Name

    by executing this in sql query analyzer will create a stored procedure that returns all the data from Table
    here is the syntax to create SP
