How to create platform specific Menus

Hi Folks,
I am new to the Air SDK, and having a problem adding menu items. On a Mac platform I would like to add a new menu item
to the existing applications menu. I have tried various example code, but they all produce basically the same error.
I am currently working on OSX Mountain Lion and am using feature detection, which works fine, i.e.
if (NativeWindow.supportsMenu) {
nativeWindow.menu = new air.NativeMenu();
else if (air.NativeApplication.supportsMenu) {
air.NativeApplication.nativeApplication.menu = root;
except that I get the error: ReferenceError: Can't find variable: NativeApplication
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use SPAD transaction create ur own format.

To upload font first locate ur file for that font in this case VERDANA,
normally u will find this file in C:\windows\font copy that file from there in
some other directory. then goto transaction code SE73 give ur font name
in SAP starting with Z and give ur font file path.

How to create customer specific fields within PC 10.0?

Hello,
for previous Process Controls versions 2.5 and 3.0 it was available two how-to guides to create customer specific fields. Nevertheless so far I couldn't find those versions for PC10.0.
Does anyone have them? Or know if the 3.0 version is also valid for 10.0?

We have a few administration transactions that you can use on back-end. For example:GRFN_STR_CHANGE -GRFN_STR_CHANGE-Change Process Control
as well as RE_RHGRENZ4 to Set a new end date to the objects.
At last case, you can run the program RHRHDL00 thru SE38 Tcode.Be carefull because this program delete the object from database.

How to create a specific property node w/ VI script

I am writing a VI script to work with some multi column listboxes. I need it to create a property node that gets a reference to the ItemNames field. I see that I can create a property node via the invoke node method Create.Property Node, but how to get the ItemNames field specifically I so far can't figure out. Can anyone help?
To be clear, I am writing code that looks like this:
...and when I run the script, I want it to produce this:
Right now it produces the MCL as expected, via the New VI Object node...but I don't know how to get the ItemNames created automatcially. I thought it might be in the PropItems array but so far no luck.

The output of "PropItems[]" will be a one element array. Index that element and wire the reference to an invoke node. Select the method "SetProperty".

How to create a specific audio track in arrange

There's gotta be something simple I'm missing. In Logic 7 you could create an audio track in the arrange and then click to open a drop-down menu to select any audio track number you wanted to assign it to.
I don't see how to do that in 8.
All I'm trying to do is create an audio track of audio 9 in the arrange. Currently, 4, 6, 7 and 11 are in the arrange. I can go to number 7 and hit "new track with next channel strip" until 9 shows up and delete the rest (it starts by adding 1, which currently isn't used, etc., 'til it gets up to 9) but that can't be the only way to do it.
Can someone give me a tip?

Simply create the new audio track, and the control/right click on that track
You'll see "Reassign Track Object" > Mixer > Audio >
and from there you can select specifically what audio track you want that new track to be.

By doing this I believe this may go to vendor specific GL acc. (This is Inter company Purchasing so we wanted to change according to company GL acc.)

How to create customer specific InfoTypes in CRM?

Hi folks,
we want to distribute customer specific InfoTypes from HR to CRM. Thus we have to create these InfoTypes in CRM. Does anyone know how to do so? In HR this is done with TA PM01 which does not exist in CRM.

Yes I think just using a BADI and storing in custom tables is the easiest approach in your case. However if these infotypes are employee data contained in personnel administration, then you should consider extending the Business Partner via the eewb. You would still then enhance the IDOC and then extend the data transfer to the new attributes in CRM.
If it is just organizational data attributes, then you can either do custom tables, or try to create new infotypes via manual configuration in the CRM system.

How to create a specific calculation

Hi all
I would like to create a calculation using the sales amount as measure and the geography as dimension
The hierarchy of the geography is:
ALL
-Region
--Country
---Store
And the calculation I want is:
Sales of a Country/ SUM(sales of its Region)
using level based measures allows me to create
Sales of store / SUM(sales of Country)
Sales of store / SUM(sales of Region)
Sales of store / SUM(sales of ALL)
because the sales are aggregated at the lowest level wich is 'Store'
Any one knows how I can create this in the repository?

I don't really see the problem, because the solution is quite easy:
1. Create one level based measure: Sales by Country
2. Create another level based measure: Sales by Region
3. Create a logical column with the calculation Sales by Country / Sales by Region based on the logical columns from 1 and 2.

my problem is that i have 3 tables(tab1,tab2,tab3);
tab1 is master of tab2.
tab 2 is master of tab3.
i would like to make a master detail page between tab1 and tab3 without using tab2.
i am using jdev10.1.3.2 and ADF BC Swing.

i've the same kind of treatement in my application.
i did it this way.
i created a view object based on entity tab1.
i created a view object based on a join of entities tab2 and tab3
(don't forget to create associations between your 3 entites first)
i then created a viewlink between these two views.
In the application module, i added the first view and then the second view via the first view.
You can then use this to created your master/detail relation from the data control palette.

So I'm creating a video containing multiple interviews. During the interview, I want to create some text boxes next to the person being interviewed, which contain some of the keywords from the spoken text.
I'm trying to get the following result:
As for now, i'm constantly manually creating rectangles which I have to scale to the text to fit as a proper background. Is there any way to create a title template so that the background scales automatically to the text? So if I would add a line at the bottom, the background/rectangle/... would expand to the correct size?

Using OOP across multiple platforms – how to manage platform-specific functions

I am writing OOP software that acquires data from many cRIO chassis and transmits that information to a remote machine. For testing purposes, we want some of the cRIO chassis to be “Real” and the rest “Simulated”. My project consists of a Parent cRIO chassis class, along with two child classes (Real cRIO and Simulated cRIO). There is also a Parent cRIO method, along with numerous subVI parent and child methods (all with Dynamic object inputs/outputs). Each instance of a cRIO object is created by taking the Parent cRIO method and wiring into it either a Real or a Simulated class. Real instances use child methods that call RT functions, and Simulated instances use functionally-equivalent child methods that avoid RT function calls.
The software is fine as long as the real and simulation instances are directed to RT targets. However, I would like to direct the simulation instances to a Windows target; when I do so, I get complaints about RT functions being called on the Windows target. Is there a way to configure my Project so that the compiler will allow my Simulation instances to run on a Windows machine?

Just throwing this out there, not sure, but have you tried "disable autodeploy variables" on the crio units within the project?
Also, another thing you could try is wrapping your cRIO functions in a conditional structure and check for a targettype== RT. I'm not sure if this helps but two thoughts i had.
