How to create printer specific font.

Hi,
I want to create printer specific font to print a script(cheque) on FI02 printer.
We have some Z..printer specific fonts in SE73 but I don't
find any create button there..how to create..help me out.

Use SPAD transaction create ur own format.
other information
To upload font first locate ur file for that font in this case VERDANA,
normally u will find this file in C:\windows\font copy that file from there in
some other directory. then goto transaction code SE73 give ur font name
in SAP starting with Z and give ur font file path.

ok, I try first approach in print4.vi, but Labview return an error (view jpg); if I cut From, To controls, the VI print all pages. The same things happen also if I trasform I32 in Variant.
I don't try second approach, because at this time I have only one report
I try also with VB macro: this is better (print3.vi) but.....if I use:

What fonts? There's a whole slew of fonts available with typeKit, which is included in CC, but specific fonts may still require to be bought individually from the respective type foundries.

I am trying to create a Font as follows:
InputStream is = new FileInputStream("myname.ttc");
Font font = Font.createFont(Font.TRUETYPE_FONT,is);
This works fine but I need to get a specific font from the collection.
How does one go about creating a font from a particular font within
a collection?
I need to access the font file directly. I can't use the
properties file to install the font first.

You also have to be careful with fonts. The font you download may be the same name, but a different font. Just because you find a Zurich BT font, does not mean it is the same. If you search on the internet, there are several sources of some Zurich BT fonts free. However, they may or may not be the same font. Editing is best done on the original document and not the PDF. One of the PDFs I found on the Landis site was only in Zurich font. I would think that the original file is available from the company and that should be the document you edit, not the PDF. It appears the original was created in InDesign (CS3).

How do I get specific font to ALWAYS appear in text field whether user has font on computer or not?

I am designing a simple form to be used as template for OTHER people to type up room signs. We would like the signs to be in a specific font that is not generally loaded on the average computer, and we do not want to have to distribute fonts to a gazillion people. My thought was to create a LiveCycle from, whereby the room user could type their name and title in the text fields on the form, and in theory, it would appear in the font I chose for the text field. I have tried various things, but it always gets substituted by the user's computer.
Tried: Choosing "rich text" for field format in Object palette; choosing "Embed fonts" in "Save Options"; tried static form, tried dynamic form. It could be that my test user has such an old version of Reader that it just CANNOT work.

The restrictions are listed as "normal." And it does appear as embedded when I go to the document properties, though it didn't until I used it for the text on the form (as apposed to just using in the text fields.) And when another user opens the form, the text appears in the specified font, but once they type in the text field, it defaults to different font.
BTW, it is an Open Type Font, if that makes any difference.

How I choose a specific font?

I have only just started using Edge on occasion so don't berate me if this is really obvious but how do I choose a specific font to use?
When I add a font it lists it as a font family e.g. "Georgia, Times New Roman, serif" and it automatically sets it to a specific font and I can't select the font I want. This is also an issue with web fonts where it uses the system font rather than my custom web font. I'm trying to use a cursive type of font. I had the same issue when using Dreamweaver but Photoshop does not work this way.

Once you've added a web font (last item in the fonts menu, or + button to its right), it appears in the Fonts section of your Library (here Quattrocento Sans) :
Then, you can apply this font to any text element by selecting this new item in the menu :

for previous Process Controls versions 2.5 and 3.0 it was available two how-to guides to create customer specific fields. Nevertheless so far I couldn't find those versions for PC10.0.
Does anyone have them? Or know if the 3.0 version is also valid for 10.0?

At last case, you can run the program RHRHDL00 thru SE38 Tcode.Be carefull because this program delete the object from database.

How to create (print) Architectural size sheets in Adobe X?

Prior to upgrading to Adobe X we used to have the ability to select Architectural paper sizes in Adobe PDF properties which allowed us to create/print to larger scale sizes. W/ the new version of Adobe the paper standards tab is missing and we can only print to large PDF's from AutoCAD or if the files we have rec'd are already formatted in the larger scale size. Is there some kind of update we need to do? Help!!

It's a much better workflow to create a PDF from an authoring application like AutoCad than to create a PDF from existing PDF using the Adobe PDF Printer. You could loose a lot of valuable information in the file -- like layers and hyperlinks, etc. Are you saying that you no longer see the Page Size option dropdown options?

How to copy a Specific Font Style from one instance to another?

I am using RoboHelp HTML V.7.
I need to change multiple instances of one style to another. Is there a way to assign a specific font style from one instance of the style to another location (like MS Word style painter), or add the specific style to a shortcut key, or add the specific style the toolbar, or any other suggestions which may expedite my plight?

Identify the "class=MyStyle" string in the MTML code, and use the Multi-File Find and Replace feature to step through each topic and change the specific instances to "class=MyOtherStyle." (I doubt that you'll want to "Replace All".)

Then you set something like this.
REPORT zlmr_lead_account_list LINE-SIZE 150 LINE-COUNT 90.

How to create a specific property node w/ VI script

I am writing a VI script to work with some multi column listboxes. I need it to create a property node that gets a reference to the ItemNames field. I see that I can create a property node via the invoke node method Create.Property Node, but how to get the ItemNames field specifically I so far can't figure out. Can anyone help?
To be clear, I am writing code that looks like this:

Right now it produces the MCL as expected, via the New VI Object node...but I don't know how to get the ItemNames created automatcially. I thought it might be in the PropItems array but so far no luck.

The output of "PropItems[]" will be a one element array. Index that element and wire the reference to an invoke node. Select the method "SetProperty".

How to create a specific audio track in arrange

There's gotta be something simple I'm missing. In Logic 7 you could create an audio track in the arrange and then click to open a drop-down menu to select any audio track number you wanted to assign it to.
I don't see how to do that in 8.
All I'm trying to do is create an audio track of audio 9 in the arrange. Currently, 4, 6, 7 and 11 are in the arrange. I can go to number 7 and hit "new track with next channel strip" until 9 shows up and delete the rest (it starts by adding 1, which currently isn't used, etc., 'til it gets up to 9) but that can't be the only way to do it.
Can someone give me a tip?

Simply create the new audio track, and the control/right click on that track
You'll see "Reassign Track Object" > Mixer > Audio >
and from there you can select specifically what audio track you want that new track to be.

please check whether the two solutions below work:
1. create a contract with milestone billing plan where there are only down payment billings, so that on the basis of the contract you can generate down payment requests and then relevant down payments, release the contract to a sales order which can then be delivered and billed, manually clear the billing document with the down payments
2. from FI module, create down payment requests via t-code F-37 directly, and then down payment posting, generate sales order directly, and then deliver and bill, manually clear the billing document with the down payments

How To Create Printer Spreads PDF for Saddle Stitch Booklet?

I need to output a PDF in printer spread format for a saddle stitch booklet from InDesign.
After installing CS5 Master Suite on my upgraded Mac OS X 10.6.2 MacBook I can't figure out how to do that though.

That's why I qualified it... "practically identical". Replace "Adobe PDF" with "Postscript File" and I found that it got me 90% of the way there so Eugene's point about it helping someone else with a similar need rang true in my case. I was already aware of the lack of the PDF Printer in SL, so that was moot detail for me. But that's the beauty of a an open forum IMO: even if you didn't find it helpful I don't think he should be discouraged or chastened for his effort because it helped me and could undoubtedly help others too.
Also, as an aside specific to the Adobe forums, even though I am not remotely as prolific a poster as some folks, I have frequently found resolutions to Mac questions in Windows threads and vice versa. Personally, I also don't find it terribly clear which flavor of a given software's forum I happen to be in when coming in cold from a Google search or the like... eg. Sure, one should read the OP thoroughly, but if you were just scanning and trying to help, simply looking at the top of this very thread there is quite literally no indication of whether this is a Mac or Windows InDesign question:
"I've seen this question asked many times for both Windows and Macs"... me too, and I think every bit of info to troubleshoot it and crowdsource solutions can only help. Even if we don't all have the luxury of dealing with "modern printers."

I would like to know if its possible to specify a font according to its language...
more specifically on CJK fonts (Chinese, Japanese, Korean)
so far I'm able to globally install a font by
grabbing a *.ttf (and *.otf) file and moving it to the /usr/share/fonts/(designated folder according to *.filetype)
i dont like how the default font for the CJK languages and I would like to change it so...
any idea how?

i installed the font manually and not using pacman nor aur packages.... i downloaded an *.ttf (and *.otf) files and move them to /usr/share/fonts/TTF using nautilus...
i couldnt figure where to configure them... i was able to configure it on firefox using about:config but the system itself... i didnt know how...
for some reason though when i resetted my laptop... the newly installed japanese font was able to applied in the system... it's solve but i have no clue how it fixed itself...
