wht u told is about to insert the file(.doc,.ppt..zip) in a particular folder name(FI folder or SD folder under business scenarios folder which is main folder).
here business scenarios is one main folder and FI and SD folders are sub folders under business scenarios folder.
I want to know how to create the these folders and not the file insertion.

How to create project in nwds 7.3

I imported development track in to nwds 7.3.
How to create project from track , because before this i use 7.0 & 7.1 , there i found inactive dc then created project.
i unale to found inactive dc in 7.3

Hi,
CMS inbox can be figured out this way:
1. go to CMS webui -- Landscape Configurator -- Domain Data tab.
2. notice the path entered into the field Transport folder.
3. your CMS inbox is then <Transport folder>/CMS/inbox
Now make sure the required SCAs are available in this folder, and then go to the CMS webui- Transport studio -- select the track -- on "Check-In" tab check in the SCs, and make sure you import them to both Development and Consolidation. Only after this will you able to create a DC in your NWDS, otherwise everything will be grayed out.

Sync and Create project operation from DTR is taking more than one hour

Hi All.
Recently basis team has implemented the track for ESS/MSS application.So When we import the track to NWDS its showing 500 Dcs.
I have successfully done the Sync and create project operation from DTR for 150 DCS and its take 5 min per Dcs.
However after that when i am trying to sync Dc or create project DC from DTR the operation is taking more than 3 hour per DC.Which should not be the case because for rest 150 DC that i ahve done Sync operation adn Create project operation from DTR it hardly takes 5 min per Dc.As this operataion is taking so much time finally i have close the NWDS to stop this operation.
I am using NWDS 2.0.15 and EP7.0 portal SP15 and NWDI is 7.0
Can any body tell how to solve this issue so that i can Sync and Create project from DTR for a DC within 5 min?

Hi Susmita,
If the DCs are fine in CBS build, then I feel there is no need to test all of them locally in NWDS.
You can verify some certain applications in these DCs, then you sync & create project for these DCs & test run these applications.
As I get you only need to check ( no changes will be done ), yes you can verify them in small groups (say 20-25 DCs/group) in different workspaces so that no workspace is overloaded.
But why do you want to keep a copy of them locally as you are not making any changes, you can Unsync & Remove these projects once verified & use the same workspace to work on the next set of DCs.

I am using Compactrio 9004 Real time controller and i am new to this. I have a C code and i want to use this with the RT controller.I red that that can be done by creating a dll file and can be called in labview.Can any body expalin how to create a DLL from the c code and be used with this RT controlelr?

There is another KB article about this for Pharlap based controllers. And you are right the earlier CompactRIO controllers were Pharlap based. Basically for a deployed application to work, you need to put the DLL through FTP in "/ni-rt/system". If you deploy it directly from the project everything will be loaded into memory through the project environment itself including directly dependable DLLs, (but of course won't survive a power cycle).
I hope you are aware that while Windows DLLs can work on Pharlap OS they by no means will do so always. The Pharlap OS has not a fully featured Windows API. Also you need to be careful which version of Visual C you are going to use depending on the Pharlap OS version, since the VC runtime DLLs already present on the controller will need to be the same as the ones your Visual C environment likes to link in. Recent Pharlap OS versions use the msvcr71.dll. It's very possible that those runtime libraries can't just simply be copied from a normal Windows installation but might have been recompiled by NI specifically for their controller targets.
So to avoid problems it's a good idea to make sure your DLL uses the same runtime library DLL or make your DLL to include the static MS runtime.

can any one tell how to create inbound Idoc from XML file.
we have xml file in application server Ex. /usr/INT/SMS/PAYTEXT.xml' we want to generate inbound idoc from this file.we are successfully able to generate outbound XML file from outbound Idoc by using the XML port. But not able to generate idoc from XML file by using we19 or we16.
Please let me know the process to trigger inbound Idoc with out using XI and any other components.

Hi .. Did either of you get a result on this?
My question is the same really .. I am testing with WE19 and it seems SAP cannot accept an XML inbound file as standard.
I see lots of mention of using a Function Module.
Am I correct in saying therefore that ABAP development is required to create a program to run the FM and process the idoc?
Or is there something tht can be done with Standard SAP?

assuming that your settings in VTFA and VTFL allow, you can create 1 invoice for many sales orders or deliveries by using VF04. choose all documents that apply and click "collective billing document".
you can also click on "simulation" if you want to test if the combination is possible and the system will give you a split analysis if this is not possible.

Go to Tcode se11 choose view and enter the name and create a popup opens up choose database view option
enter the description
On the left hand side choose the table name.
Click on view fields tab and choose your table fields.Here you can choose which fields you want in your view.
Save and then activate.

Please create the VI you are talking about and save some default data into all of the controls. Also on the front panel, place the session ID that should be generated by that data. Now, post your VI to a response so I can download it. I can then take this VI and help you create the functionality. (Please post what version of LabVIEW you are using.)
My guess it that you are going to need to use a good number of string concatenations as well as a few string indexes to get parts of strings out. As for the date, you can use a Property node with the Numeric Text.Text property to get the actual string displayed on the front panel for the date and parse out the parts that you want.
