How To create ADF Search form in JDeveloper 11g 11.1.1.0.1

Hi,
I am using JDeveloper 11g 11.1.1.0.1 , in which i tried creating an ADF search form that has Find and Execute Buttons.
I created the same ADF search form using JDeveloper 11g TP3 and TP4 wherein it works fine but not in JDeveloper 11g 11.1.1.0.1.
Scenario....
I dragged a read only view object on to the jspx page as ADF Search Form and dragged the same as Read only table.
After doing this if i run the application the search functionality does not happen .
( I click on the find button and enter the condition and then click on the execute button. records does not get filtered based on that condition specified.)
But when the same steps is done in 11g TP3 and TP4 the search functionalty works fine.
Can someone suggest me what is the issue.
Is this a bug in the new release.

i have just created a Database and Forms & Reports using developer 6i.
now i want to deleiver that Database to end users, but i dont know that how to create a LOGIN Form for the end users and also i want to assign each user a Login ID & Password.
Plz help me to solve out this problem.

1. Create the user accounts on the database CREATE USER ... IDENTIFIED BY...
2. Grant CONNECT Role to the Users
3. in the main form (the one which is being called initially at runtime) in the ON-LOGON-Trigger create a CALL_FORM() to the Login Form
4. The Login Form will be called; build a Block with username, password and a Button
5. In the Button call the LOGON Built-In
6. Control will be passed to the initially called form again

How to create PDF/A form

Hello,
does anybody know how to create static PDF form, that conforms to PDF/A-1b?
I didn't find any such 'save as' option in LiveCycle Designer 8.2.
When I try convert the form with Acrobat Professional 9, I get following error:
"Preflight is unable to perform any fixups on this document as its author did not grant necessary permissions. Permissions can be restricted by using encryption or digital signatures."
The PDF form does not contain any encryption or digital signatures (it contains only 1 text field).

Yes, you need to create the form with Acrobat using Acrobat's Form Tool. Look under the menu option "Tools =>Forms" and select "Show Forms Toolbar" or the form field type you want to create. Acrobat is not really designed for creating forms but adding form fields and form interactivity, but you might not be able to use this feature with the PDF/A-1b standard. You should create the base form in another application that is designed for authoring documents and then add the form fields. You will need to make sure your PDF confirms to the PDF 1.4, version 5, standards.
Since PDF signatures require an external resource they might not be covered, you should check the ISO standard.

Validating Date fields in Self Registration page in OIM 11g

I have 2 custom date fields(Start Date, End Date) in Self Registration page in OIM 11g.
I need to do validation on these fields, like difference between start date and end date should not be more than 3 months.
I should show a popup message to user whenever start date and end date is more than 3 months.
How to achieve this?

Hi Nagarajan,
In webcenter there is no concept of portlets.Here you need to have all the portlets as WSRP.
So in a jist, you need to expose your current portlets as WSRP and the same should be consumed in webcenter portal pages.

If you are using ADFBC, the easiest way is
- drop the data control as ADF form
- add CreateInsert method binding to the pagedef
- add an invokeAction for the createInsert with a refresh property set to renderModel so that an empty creation form will be shown on page load
for insertion
- Finally, add the commit action as button

Our requirement, is we need to have a user defined field similar to how its there in "Organisation".
For example we need to create an user defined field like "Service Holding" which holds different services say like Service 1, Service 2, Service 3 etc.
Under each service there are multiple roles....
Eg:
Service 1 - Role 1, Role 2, Role 3
Service 2 - Role 4, Role 5
Service 3 - Role 6, Role 7, Role 8
Is there a way to store multi-valued attribute in OIM UDF? If so, pls. guide us
If its not possible we would need to create a Lookup field (something similar to Organization or Manager). User clicks on the button (lens button), which should invoke an API wherein he can select specific Roles and save in User. Eg. like Service 1 - Role 1#Service 2 # Role 5 and store in the backend database.
Is this possible. Pls. guide.

Well try this piece of code. This might be similar to yours but it worked perfectly for me. For you the error might be the attribute names which you are passing, it should be the one dfined in the FormMetaData xml as below.

1) Property Does user have to provide challenge information during registration set to TRUE
- During self-registration from web console, it will show you Challenge Questions section on the right. If you do not select any questions, it will thow you an error there itself.
- Doing it from API will create no difference(even if you pass a blank HashTable). The request will be created successfully and on completion when the user tries to login, it will ask for Security QnA.

- During self-registration from web console, it doesn't show you Challenge Questions section on the right. The request will be created successfully and on completion when the user tries to login, it will ask for Security QnA.

Creating Mail form is multi stage. Have you created any survey.
I believe its for CRM 7.0. Broad steps are
1.Enter the CRM WebClient UI
2.SAP CRM WebClient menu Marketing >> Create: Mail Form
Mail Form for E-Mail
1.On the Mail Form: New screen enter the following values:
Field name     User action and values
ID     Y_TRADE_SHOW_INVITATION
Description     Trade Show Invitation
Language     Original:English
Usage     Internet Mail (HTML)
Attribute Context     ERMS
Subject     Trade Show Invitation
2.In the Text Element screen area you can freely define the content of your e-mail in the text element.
3.Choose New Text Element, enter the following data for the e-mail form text block and choose Create:
Field name     User action and values
Text Element ID FORM_LETTER
Description Invitation
Format HTML
4.Enter a text for the new text element FORM_LETTER and design it according to your needs.
If you want to upload a pre-defined text from an external source, choose Load Local File.
5.In order to insert the generated survey URL into the text, choose Hyperlink.
6.In the Insert Hyperlink web page dialog enter the following values and choose Insert:

URL <surveyURL>
Description     Information Survey
URL Category

7.Save your new mail form.
