Hi everyone,
I'm stuck in this problem. I want design a vsct toolbar (MPF project). I want add a button similar Start button (Visual Studio).
Who know it, please help me resolve this problem. Thank you very much.

That is called a MenuController in VS parlance. See also here:

You should use jdev to define a radiogroup and radio buttons under that, wrap that definition inside a stackLayout in jdev, use personalization to add a stackLayout and extend the region which you had created earlier in jdev.

How to create a custom Button in a SNP planning book

Hi Experts,
I created my own Planning Book and Dataview in SNP with 3 Key Figures: KF1, KF2, KF3. Now I want to create one my own button with Macro so that when I press that button, the Macro will run to calculate: KF3 = KF1 + KF2.
I know that I can drag this Macro to one of default events like: Default, Level Change, Start. But actually, I want to create my own button so that I can handle the event as I want.
My question are:
1. How to create a custom button on the toolbar of SNP Planning book and writing macro for the button?
2. Please give me any document, material teaching about writing macro and relating to my above scenario.

Hi,
Access the transaction "/n/sapapo/advm". In the list select your planning book/ data view and click 'Start Macro Builder' button.
In the Macro builder screen, drag and drop your macro from Macro depot to the work area.
Right click on your macro name and select 'properties'. In the pop up, next to the Assigned Push button field, there is a button 'Choose'. Click that. It will display all the available icons. In standard system, it displays more than 1000 icon. Choose any one icon which is suitable for your macro function. Close the pop up and save the macro. This will assign a push button to your macro.
In the Planning book tool bar, you can see the selected icon in the header tool bar. Just by clicking that icon, you can execute the macro interactively.
And I don't know whether we can include/design our own icon. But there are already 1000+ standard icons to choose.

You can create Dropdown in two ways,
1. Create a simpleType.(DictionariesLocal dictonarysimpleTypes)
2. Go to enumeration , and add the data.
3. Create a context and in the property of the context , choose select and select the local dictionary and select the one which you have created.
4. You can create a DropDownKey and map to the context.
Dropdown by Index.
1.) Take DropDownByIndex UI Element in the Layout Tab.
2.) Take One ValueNode Named "Employee" in the Context.
3.) Take One Value Attribute Named "Id" for the Node "Employee".
4.) Bind "Employee.Id" to the texts Property of the DropDownByIndex.
5.) Set the "Employee" Node Properties in the Context Tab as
a.) Cardinality --> 0..n
b.) Selection --> 1..1
c.) Singleton --> True

The following can assist u to create a drop down ....
Drop down list box can be created in a dialog screen(SE51) as well as selection screen.
The sap list box allows to select a value from the list but we cannot enter our own value in the list box .The value list that will be displayed consists of two
fields TEXT field of TYPE 80(C) and internal KEY field of TYPE 40(C).
In screen painter to create a input/output field into list box we use
'L" as a value for dropdown attribute for the i/o field.
In screen painter to determine the type of method that will be used to fill the value
list we use the attribute value list.
If it is blank the value list will be filled by the first column of the input help assigned to the screen field.This input help can be defined in the ABAP Dictionary, on screen using SELECT,VALUES screen statements or in event POV (PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST ) and the input help that will be passed to the field should consists of 2 columns ,the key column is filled automatically by the system.SAP recommends value list field should be blank.

The value can be 'A' meaning that the value list will be filled in the event PBO(PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT) or before the screen is displayed.In this method we use function module VRM_SET_VALUES to fill the values and pass it to the i/o field.
If a function code is attached to the list box the selection of a value triggers a PAI

How to Create a Persistent button on the top HTML gallery

Hi,
In my InDesign Folio I have an article with full page HTML photo gallery. The photo grid occupies the full screen. I want to create a Persistent button on the top of this gallery which user can tap to go to the Main Menu page. This button is always visible at one place even as user scrolls up and down the gallery. I tried creating it on the top layer, and on the top layer for Master page, but the button disapperas when the HTML gallery loads.
So the user does not see any button to navigate out of the gallery to another article.
Any ideas how to create the persistent button ?

Depending on if you are using the HTML as either an article or in an overlay, you may be able to either use the standard navto and goto hyperlinks syntax or place a blank button on top of your link in the HTML.
I am not sure if using the standard navto and goto syntax will work between an HTML article and an Indesign article. Maybe Bob Bringhurst, Bob Levine, or one of the staff members can clarify. If you are using your HTML in an overlay, you can add a transparent button on top of your link or image to return to whatever page you like.

Spell, punctuate, and capitalize correctly. Don't confuse "its" with "it's", "loose" with "lose", or "discrete" with "discreet". Don't TYPE IN ALL CAPS; this is read as shouting and considered rude. (All-smalls is only slightly less annoying, as it's difficult to read. Alan Cox can get away with it, but you can't.)
More generally, if you write like a semi-literate b o o b you will very likely be ignored. So don't use instant-messaging shortcuts. Spelling "you" as "u" makes you look like a semi-literate b o o b to save two entire keystrokes.

ZLM00: How to create the logout-button?

I am creating my own LM00 screens which work fine. There is one button hat I still have to add: LOGOUT.
Of course I can create the button and give it a functioncode, but what do I have to let it do to make the user logout?
I tried functions like:
EXIT, LEAVE TO SCREEN 0, LEAVE PROGRAM, LEAVE, RETURN, STOP, CALL TRANSACTION '/NEX'.
Also I tried to debug the original LM00 transaction, but it is not debuggable using /h /hs or /he.
I have also searched for function modules that log the user out, but did not find any.
Anybody any idea how to create the logout-button?

Got it.
Functionmodule SAPGUI_SET_FUNCTIONCODE does some part, but only works for a dialogsession. When trying this on a scanner, it did not do anything because this interface does not have a transaction box to enter the functioncode in.
The trick that worked was call 'SYS_LOGOFF'.

How to create a dropdown menu with sub buttons that link back to the labels on click.

im trying to create a dropdown menu buttons that when you rollover to the top central button the button it opens up like a drop down menu would containg two other subsectional buttons. This makes the sub sectional buttons seperate from the main stage making it difficult to simply give them a on click, sym.play("label") function.
the buttons work like this in symbols or sections stage/panel/homebutton inside home button is group dev containg another group dev containg the button which I need to link back to a "label" in the /panel/ symbol or section. Thank you very much.

I've been looking at Premiere's templates, which I can certainly customize, but I really don't see how to create the double menu. Does anybody have an idea?
Put the video with the first language on the timeline followed by the video with the second language. Use chapter markers so you can have each video as a chapter in the menu.
I use Premiere Pro, so I can't give more specific directions. Perhaps somebody like ATR will chime in.
Also, I have another question: can I put videos from different projects in the same DVD with Premiere or must all of the videos that go into the DVD be in the same project?

I am a beginner in Webdynpro , Java . Request you to plz help me ..
My requirements -
1. How to create a dropdownbyindex in a view and populate it with some static values passed to the Context .
2. Upon selection of a value from the dropdown and clicking on the Submit button , how to save the value?
Context -
Node - Season
Attribute - Seasonofyear

i had created a attribute called copy under the node "season". Now i copied from the season attribute to copy attribute.
then onaction save
IModifiableSimpleValueSet rea = wdThis.wdGetContext().getContext().getModifiableTypeOf("season.season").getSVServices().getModifiableSimpleValueSet();
wdContext.currentSeasonElement().setCopy(rea.getText(wdContext.currentSeasonElement().getSeason()));
