The material which is used in MTO process will be a confirgurable material and item category group will be 0002.
In MTO th stock will be raised as a sales order stock. So once you create a sales order, the stock will be raised in MB1C with moevemtn 561 and special stock indicator E.

How to create storage locations in a standalone scenario??

Hello everybody,
I need some help. I'm working with SRM 5.0. I'm making a standalone scenario. When I created the organizational plan, in the check tab, a error appears. The message is: "Define the attribute LAG". The attribute LAG is the storage location, in the extended attributes tab. I've tried defining this attribute but I couldn't.
Does anybody know how to create storage locations in a standalone scenario??

Storage loc is useless in a standalone scenario.
The "Check" tab makes a generic check on attributes needed for each business scenario, but does not check the integration scenario.
So you can get rid of this error message.
You can even deactivate this check on this particular attribute in table BBPV_APPL (SM30), for Confirmation & SC applications.

I'm new to Adobe LiveCycle ES, and I'm now stuck with all tutorials dealing with pdf encryption because most of them are using the EncryptDocument process. But I didn't manage to find where this process creation with Workbench ES is explained. If somebody could indicate me where it is, or how to create it, it would really help me..

LiveCycle ES Update 1 supports three methods for document encryption, Password protection, Certificate based encryption (digital certificates are used to encrypt the PDF for specific users), and Rights Management ES document encryption.
The password based encryption, and certificate based encryption is part of the "Encryption" service that can be located in the "Common" category in Workbench. This ships with LiveCycle as part of the foundation.
The Rights Management ES based encryption is a sepearte solution component that you must purchase a license for.
For further information on these services, search the Workbench help for "Certificate Encrypt PDF", Password Encrypt PDF" and "Apply Policy"
Note: LiveCycle ES (8.0x) did npot support Certificate based encryption. It was added to Update 1.

How to create a process type/variant for this in Process Chain

i
I created a Selective Delete Variant (Delete_Facts) with some data selection upon which data to be deleted, to be used in Process chain.
My requirment is
I need to include that in the process chain in a such a way that that variant should be executed only on FIRST DAY of every month.
(First day of every month Selective deletion on data tardet will be performed....rest of the days no selective deletion is performed)
Please advise how can i achieve this

Hi,
You can probably create a seperate chain containing this variant alone, and schedule it to run on the first of every month.
This can be done by right clicking on the start variant, and selecting the option periodic, and giving the periodic value, where you have values "hourly","daily", "weekly", "monthly", otherperiod. Another try can be to click on the arrow at the top beside "At Operation Mode" and d specify a factory calendar. I am not much sure of this option.
another option is that you can try using the procecc type "Decision Between Multiple Alternatives " and check if calendar day is first of the month then execute your variant, or else execute the other normal steps. You can get more info on this functionality from BI-ExpertOnline.

How to create a process which is running in background?

I am developing an application which creates a data file after some queries are done. The user sees a message saying that the data file is being preparing and a email notification will be sent to the user. I would like to have the process for creating data files run in background so the user does not wait till that process is done.
Could someone give me some ideas or suggestions how this should be done?

You could use a servlet and run a seperate thread to complete the process. An easier way is to use an IFRAME. You can direct a page to run in an IFRAME that is 0 width X 0 height. The user could then continue on without having to wait on the process to complete.

How to create and process Iinteractive report with selected records in 4.1

I want to have an Interactive report that will have in front of each row a checkbox that can be selected for batch processing. Is there a way to do so?
If there is please include some method to process those records i.e. for each selected record create a new record on a different table and update the record itself as processed.

Now provisioning is working fine for other resource object also...
I have one more doubts regarding child table...i am using the same child table UD_ADUSRC for this resource object also and when i assigned any group membership thru this child table (in AD User1) it gives me DOBJ.insert failed error. I have checked the tasks (+Add user to group, Remove user from group, update user to group+) and all are referring the correct attrs (as in AD User). There is mapping defined in Resource Object and Process definition for Reconciliation also but recon any user with group membership is also giving me error...
can't we use one child form in two process forms ? any other configuration which i should check?
I am using the same look up for Reconciliation mapping attrs for both the resource objects (AD User and AD User1)....

After deploying the process definition created in jDeveloper,
I can access it through EJB services. From the processMetadataService, we can get the initiatable processes.

How to create a process instance from PAPI Web Services

I use Jdev 11g to create ADF(PAPI web service) to create new instances of BPM processes running in BPM Standalone (10g). However, I do not know how to write the code.

How to create process instance throught PAPI?

Can someone share how do we use PAPI to create a process instance for the Expense Management process (process in the BPM tutorial)?
I believe it is through calling the processCreateInstance() method from a ProcessServiceSession object, however, what exactly do we pass in as a parameter? I tried simply by passing in the process name and an empty Arguments object and the following exception was logged:

I'm wondering why does it complain that "fuego.papi.ProcessNotAvailableException: Process '/ExpenseReport#Default-1.0' not available.", when the ExpenseReport process is indeed a process that was published?
P.S.: I know this thread is sort of a duplicate of another thread, however I hope we can get some real examples of how to create a process instance for the Expense Management project, using PAPI (instead of PAPI webservice).

Let me give you the brief idea of what am working on;
1) I created a process using Oracle BPM Studio V: 10.3.1.0 & Build: #94375
2) I publish & deploy the process using Oracle BPM Admin Center which running on top of tomcat. But in the configuration I configure the directory as well as weblogic server.
3) I created a "Java Project" & included following jar file "b1base.jar","b1oracle.jar","b1util.jar","bcel.jar","ejb-api.jar","fuegopapi-client.jar","jms-api.jar","ojdbc14.jar","weblogic.jar","wljmsclient.jar".

Error while creating a process chain

Hello BI Gurus,
I have activated the Business Content Scenario in Plant Maintenance for Infocube 0PM_C08(Measurement Results).
It provides a datasource -> infocube flow,through DSO with transfer and update rules.(3.X scenario)
I have two questions -
1.When I am trying to create a process chain for this scenario for regular delta loads(Loading from the datasource - > DSO - > infocube),
Start - >Execute InfoPackage->Activate DSO Data ->
Then when i insert the Execute Infopackage for the load step from DSO to Infocube in the process chain and check it, it is giving an error saying "InfoPackage ZPAK_D50AJ26831X6L4IIOTZTSXWAE is generated; NOT able to be used as loading variant ".
I got this infopackage by right clicking on the context menu and going to Additional Functions -> Update 3.x data to Data targets.
Why am I getting this error and how to resolve it, bcos when i load it manually it is working fine?
2.If the error is because I did not use a infopack created by me, then how to create a infopack for loading to the infocube from DSO in BI7, because when i select from the Context Menu for creating infopack, it is taking me to the already generated IP ?
Also instead of using the 3.X mechanisms, if I decide to create a DTP, will the transformation created with it automatically map all the rules in the "Update Rules" for all fields?
