    You can create task via transaction code PFCT or tasks can be maintained via  using infotypes, go to the Task Catalog screen by choosing Human resources -> Organizational management -> Expert mode -> Task catalog.
    Tasks are related to Training and event Management and LSO after the completion of a training program task and qualifications can be added to the person.
    Tasks are assigned to Jobs

    I am completely new to JCE and have a relatively simple licencing scenario.
    A program licenced to a client should send information when it's called to a file on a remote-server via ftp. This text-information must be encrypted to that the client is unable to read it.
    On the remote-machine that I host myself the encoded information must be decoded by another Java-program.
    My first question is, how do I generate a "static" key, that I use in both programs?
    Is it really necessary to use Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange to solve this?
    Could you advise me a code example that solves this problem?

    From the customer's point of view, what you say
    you're sending isn't important - because it's
    encrypted, you might be sending ANYthing!
    Would you be able to identify the hard-coded code(a
    byte-array) from the Java byte-code?Yes. If pressed, and if there was enough at stake, I
    could probably figure out how to beat the licensing
    even if you wrote the whole app in C++ or native
    assembler (although it would be more difficult).
    People have been doing this kind of thing forever -
    bytes aren't nearly as opaque as folk would like to
    believe.
    If you happen to have a better solution for licence
    validation pls let me know.Licensing is hard. No matter what you do, there
    will be a way to get around it. The best you
    can do is make breaking your scheme hard enough that
    the average user would rather pay for your license
    than go through the hassle. How much work is enough
    on your part depends on too many things I don't know
    (e.g., how much are you charging, what class of
    customer are you targetting, what's the risk to the
    customer if they're caught violating your license,
    etc.).
    If your customer is willing to put up code that "calls
    home" every time it's run, which sends an encrypted
    packet each time it does so, and which will (I
    assume?) refuse to work if it doesn't get a proper
    answer from home - then go ahead and use RSA to
    encrypt your data.
    But please don't fool yourself into thinking that you
    can absolutely guarantee that no-one will be able to
    break your license system. Lots of smart people with
    lots of money behind them have been trying for almost
    as long as software has been sold - and to date,
    they've failed. MS spends a huge amount on building
    better license schemes every year, and so far all
    they're really managed to do is irritate their
    legitimate customers...

    There  was a publish for a nomination for team , Team has logged in registered for the published training.
    Unfortunately, all my team mebers 5 of 7 were already applied for nomination.
    The team was waiting for my approval, Finally we discovered - The tasks got deactivated;
    We discovered that The Triggering Events that  are deactivated

    ...............Click : Display
    ...............Click : TAB : Triggering Events
    ..........................Found here ...The Tasks are deactivated ....................
    To activate "deactivated Events

    Hope you wanted to state that users have registered nomination when the event was inactive( and thus workflow didn't get triggered) and now you want those nominations should be routed via workflow.
    The solution is to use SWUE transaction and re-create the event.In doing so, please be noted that the time at when nomination was registered(when the event was inactive) and time at when workflow triggered from SWUE would be too different.So, discuss with your team before doing so.

    Here's a little picture to explain how your example was done.
    The dotted lines are ruler guides, dragged from the rulers.
    If you don't see any rulers it's Cmd-R on a Mac and probably Ctrl+R on Windows.
    From the top:
    1) With your pen tool draw a curve. Click and drag to produce those handles. The fewer clicks (anchor points) the smoother the curve.
    Note that you can alter curves afterwards by dragging on those handles with the white arrow tool (A) or by holding down Cmd as you draw with the pen.
    2) Once you are satisfied with your curve, double-click on the the reflect tool (O). Use the dialogue to reflect-copy your curve. Move as necessary, snap the 2 ends together and Join them (Cmd+J).
    3) Reflect-copy the double curve and join the ends. Now you've got your basic frame. The others are produced by Option/Shift dragging vertically.
    Now you can experiment with colouring. You may need to re-arrange the objects. The one coloured pink here should be at the back.

    I'm looking for some pointers on how to create a simple iView that mimics SAPGui.  Every client I've been to that looks at the Portal always asks, "How do I access SAP with this?" and they never like the standard answer, "You create iViews".
    Anyway, I'm looking for something that would let me present the main menu of an SAP system inside the portal; providing a list of systems the users can access on the left side or lower navigation pane (e.g. an entry point iview with sub-tasks for each environment) would be really cool, but I have no idea how to go about creating this.
    So far, I've figured out how to create an iView for a specific SAP transaction (not the S000 area menu though), and I've figured out how to create a role, assign that iView, and make the role an entry point so it shows up in the top level navigation, but I'm stumped on how to develop it further, preferably without a lot of programming.
    Does anyone have any tips or pointers on where I should go next?

    Thanks for the quick response.  Two more questions arise out of some playing with this.
    (1) The first iView in the list is always displayed automaticall; can I have it display an information page or blank page instead easily?  In other words, if I have a "SAPGUI" role with a "Systems" folder in it, and the individual iviews in the Systems folder, whichever is first is automatically launched when I pick the "SAPGUI" tab in the navigation menu.
    (2) Is there any way to get rid of the pop-up asking the user to open the *.ssd file to launch the SAPGUI for Windows?  We don't have ITS, so SAPGUI for HTML doesn't work, and SAPGUI for Java generates errors when I try to use it....

    I am trying to create user accounts via PowerShell instead of the Gui in server 2008 R2 (PowerShell 2.0).
    I know how to create a user account with the following Power Shell command below is one from a dummy domain I created to practice.

    I am wondering if its possible to do this same thing via PowerShell, or  if its not an option because it takes more work type up everything than it does to go into the gui and do it.

    With this, whenever you find another cool command that helps you in the user creation process, you can simply add it, similar to what I did in these examples.
    And if it all didn't make much sense, go through the tutorials in proper order and come back - it'll make much more sense then.

    Create The Extension Segment
    Transaction: WE31
    The first step in extending an IDoc is to create the new segments that will go into that IDoc. There are some rules that you need to follow when creating the segments:
    - The name of each segment type must start with ‘Z1’
    - For each field in the segment you need to define a field name and a
    data element.
    - The data element for the segment structure must be of data type ‘CHAR’.
    How to create new segments:
    Run the segment maintenance transaction WE31.
    Type your new segment name, and click on Create.
    Define the fields of your segment:
    Field name
    Data Element for the field (from the ABAP dictionary).
    Do not change the Export length!
    Save the segment
    Run Segment -->Check to check the segment for consistency.
    Release the segment for transport. Select Edit -->Set Release. Note that the “Release’ column now has a check mark.
    Create the Extension IDoc Type
    Transaction: WE30
    After you create the segments to be added to the extension type, you can create the extension type itself. Execute transaction WE30, enter the extension name, select Extension type, and click Create. You now have three options:
    Create new type: Does not refer to other extension types
    Create copy: Copies info from an extension type that already exists
    Create successor: Extends an extension type from a previous release
    of R/3. You can only have one version of an extension type for
    each release.
    Enter the Basic IDoc type that this extension type will extend.
    The screen now shows the structure of the IDoc type you used as
    a reference.
    Position the cursor on one of the segments and click Create. This will insert an extension segment as a child of the selected segment.
    NOTE: A segment cannot appear more than once in an IDoc type! You must control the use of duplicate segments with the segment attributes (the next screen).
    The segment attribute screen appears. Enter the information and save.
    Extension segments should not be mandatory (for future upgrades), and will need to have minimum and maximum number of instances defined. This answers the question, “for each instance of the parent segment, how many instances of the child segment may we have?”
    You can press the Segment Editor pushbutton to view or change the segment definition.
    Create the new Message Type
    You can only use an extension IDoc type by assigning it to a message type. You can create a new message type for this.
    First the message type itself needs to be created.
    Transaction: WE81
    Create a new entry and save. Use SAP established customer naming conventions (good form is to start with a Z and retain the rest of the related SAP message type, so, for example, MATMAS becomes ZMATMAS).
    After creating the message type, associate it with the corresponding Basic IDoc Type and Extension Type. This relationship is used when IDocs are sent to or received from a partner to determine what segments are valid and what the hierarchy for those segments is.
    Transaction: WE82
    Create a new entry and enter the Message type, Basic IDoc type, Extension type, and Release, and save your data. Note: the release assignment is not valid for prior SAP releases.
    One message type can be associated with many basic IDoc types; however, you need a one-to-one relationship for distribution via ALE.

    1) Since JSTL libraries are provided as Web application libraries, they must be deployed before the Web application that is using JSTL functionality is deployed. The libraries can be deployed using the Administration Console or with the command-line weblogic.Deployer tool.

    After a library is deployed, the extension-name, specification-version and implementation-version of the library can be found in Administration console. This information can also be found in the MANIFEST.MF file of the library WAR file.

    2) To reference a JSF or JSTL library, a standard web application can define a <library-ref> descriptor in the application’s weblogic.xml file. Here is an example:
