How to cue tracks on a Zen Touch; other questions al

Perhaps I'm a little dense or under-researched here, but is there a way to enqueue tracks on my Zen (.0.03)? For instance, I'm playing tunes at a party, and I wish to cue up a song to play next while a song is playing. As I understand it now, my only choice is to select a song, get it highlighted, wait until the current song is finished, then hit "play" immediately. Essentially, I want to generate a playlist on-the-fly. I apologize if this is documented somewhere, but the .pdf manual included isn't very helpful.
Has any one given the FM Wired remote that Creative offers a try? Is it worth it's
Finally, I am aware of Notmad already, and I am intrigued. Does anyone know of any other third party software compatible with the Touch? Any mods or hacks? Most of what I find seems to be geared toward pre-Touch models (Xtra, Jukebox, etc.).

Normally you select the album/artist/track then hit the shortcut menu button (whatever this is on the Touch), and choose Add To Play. Pressing the Play button is equivalent to selecting Play Now from the menu, and will replace the current queue with what you've selected.
The FM Wired Remote is notoriously fragile, so not something I would recommend in all honesty.
There are no firmware hacks. Software is listed in the FAQ post, which links here to the Zen FAQ at Nomadness.net.
As far as the startup screen, this is broken in the latest firmware.

Even if you had find my ipod activated, it would not locate it to specific place in your house. It would simply show that it was roughly at your house.

Lost or Stolen iPod/iPad/or iPhone:
If you have turned on “Find my iPod/iPad/or iPhone recently, then you can find it, by following these steps:
Log into www.icloud.com with the Apple I.D. Associated with your iPod/iPad/or iPhone
Click on Devices
Click on the device that has gone lost
Either put it in Lost Mode (suggested), or make it play a sound. (PLEASE NOTE: DEVICE MUST BE CONNECTED TO WIFI IN ORDER FOR THESE TO HAPPEN)

If you have both the player and you're using MediaSource, just connect both the player to the computer, select one of the player as source and the other as destination and just transfer over it. Note, protected content will not be transfer over though.

You can only track the iPod if you had it set up with FindMyiPod/iPhone. If you didn't I'm afriad you are out of luck and we'll have to look for it the same way you would any other lost item.

How Do You Know When The Zen Touch Is Done Chargi

I searched through the forums and couldn't find anything on this topic.
I want to make sure that I don't overcharge my player, while still filling it to its enormous capacity. How will I know when it's done charging?

On my touch there is a little icon in the upper left corner of the screen showing my battery symbol with a power volt thing over it to show it is charging. This changes back and forth until the charging is done, then there is nothing on the screen at all.

If you've been using it connected to a computer, and transferring music across, that can drain battery life really fast, as the HD is being continually accessed. Just playing music shouldn't use it nearly as fast.

I'm a fairly new iPhone user so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. Is there a hard drive on my iPhone? If so, how can I delete the info on it? Will it delete my contacts and things like that? How do I do it?

I have the iPhone 4 version 4.2.1

The iPhone does not have a hard drive. It has a flash drive or flash storage.
If you wipe the entire flash drive, everything will be deleted except for the firmware/OS and all included apps.
You can erase all content and settings direct on the iPhone at Settings > General > Reset, which is a secure erase, or you can restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup which is not a secure erase of all data and settings.

I have been using an ipod mini for ages, just gave it to my daughter and bought a 80gb ipod classic. When I set up sync movies, does it copy every movie from my movie folder to my ipod? It doesn't seem to work even I set it up properly. Can I copy movie manually? I have copied 2gb of music last night, this morning I plug my ipod to sync the address book, eject properly, the songs are gone! Photos are still there though. Do these ipods come in window format? In itune it shows window format, it makes me wonder, I only connect ipod to my macbook pro. Thanks!

Not if you choose to sync selected movies. There should be options for you when you choose to auto sync movies.

Yes. For quite a while now all new iPods come Windows formatted out of the box.

Okay, so if I hear you correctly, I should download the Zen Touch Media Explorer to my computer at work and use it that way. I followed your advice on my home computer and sure enough, I can hear the music. :smileyvery-happy:
Only I can't seem to see what's playing. And I'm not sure how to control the player (for playback functions, ie shuffle, repeat, rewind, skip, etc.). :smileysurprised:
