Hi,
I feel we cant de activate the source system. Either we can aceive to do any of the following method:
1. Delete the source system
2. Remove the RFC Destination.
3. Remove the authorization to load the data.
I dont know why you are asking to deactivate the system. Coz this will not cuase any problem to you for any testing in the landscape. One more thing if you will do any of the above three activity, then Basic guys only rollback the actual situation.
So please be confident before doing this task.

Have a look at the samples, they contain what you need.
Basically you need to version
*.wsdl Interface Definition Files
*.bpel BPEL Process Defintion
bpel.xml BPEL Process Descriptor
build.xml Ant Build File
*.jpr JDeveloper Project File
The first three must be saved to be able to rebuild the process. It is a good idea :-) to save the build files so it can be built from the command line (Ant build file) and edited in JDeveloper (jpr file).

How to change the source system for just a datasource

Hi,
Our test/development BI system ( BI 7.0 Unicode ) is connected to our development system and to our test system, 1 BI system connected to 2 R/3 systems.
During some time, the test system won't be available so all datasources that point to the test system must be connected to the development system. In RSA1 is not possible to change the source system in a datasource: RSDS 057
'Creation of DataSources for SAP source system D30CLNT007 is not permitted' , same error trying to copy the datasource,.
Any idea about how to proceed ?

Hi,
If I try to repliclate metadata in the datasource, message RSAR 051 appears: 'error when opening an RFC connection'. This error is expected because the logical system pointed in the datasource does not exist.
Is not possible to change the source system in datasource ( in RSA1 ) because the field is always greyed, also if I try to copy the datasource the message RSDS 057 appears.
Any idea about how to proceed ?

OBN: How can we add the tcode of target system into Source System.?

I want to add a t-code ME53n of ERP) into a role as OBN target in my SAP TM.
I tried to add this t-code but could not find this t-code in SAP TM system.
How can we add the tcode of target system into Source System.?
I tries to import the role of target system but that does not work.

Hi Saurabh,
Logically there is no need to add a tcode of the target system in the source system.
If you have right roles in the system then system should allow you to add tcode in the OBN target simply by going to PFCG roles and using add transaction feature.
To make sure it works properly you have to check the Method & Parameter assignment to the newly added tcode.

How to delete a source system in BW?

Hello All!
Can anone please inform me about the procedure to delete a source system or inform me in which document i can find this information. Actually i wish to assing my newly installed BW3.5 system to a new logical system (i.e) its currently assigned to some other logical system where it has ME as default source system. to change the logical system we need to delete all the source systems in the old logical syste. So please explaing me how to delete the source system Myself(current BWsystem). there is no data and no data sources existing in the system its abosolutly fresh.

Thanks for ur response. But there bo such delete option available under the context menu for the source system for the Myself source(current BW). only change buton appears but when we click that it say changes are no posible. Is the any other way to delete it manually.

Hi Manjula,
If you encounter problems when establishing a connection to your target server, check the following:
A message box appears while performing one of the following actions:
      Setting connection by choosing Apply to local session.
      Testing connection settings by choosing Test settings.
      Creating SAP TSQL objects
If errors occurred, they are displayed in the respective message box.
   Check developer trace files in ST11.
Test connection:
     For RFC related errors, check the RFC connection via SM59
     For database multi-connect errors, check if you can connect to the target SQL Server with the SQL Server Query Analyzer. Also check if the DBCON entries are correct.

How to find the Source system table

Hi Experts,
How to find table name in SCM APO system, because I am getting error in process chain, the corresponding table in the source system does contain any data. check the data basis in the source system.
Please provide the solutions how to find the table in APO (DP scm bi).

I guess you knew that in APO, apart from APO tables.. it is Livecache where the actual transaction data is stored.
But, if you just want to find some of the existing table in APO.. simply go to se11 and in the table name put the pattern as /SAPAPO/* and press F4. It will give a list of tables with the descriptions.
You can find out yourself all APO tables application wise with the following steps:
Use transaction SE11 or SE16
- Press F4 in the selection field
- You will get popup... in the below line of the popup selection SAP Applications.
Here you will get the Application list. In that select your own application for which you want to get the table details
e.g. SCM- Supply Chain Management --> SCM-APO --> Advanced Planning and Optimization --->SCM-APO-MD - Master Data --> /SAPAPO/00_PRODUCT
Here are some examples:
/SAPAPO/v_matloc - material, material number location view
/SAPAPO/TSAREAKO - Planning Area details
/SAPAPO/TSAREATE - Planning Area technial fields
Since there are thousands of tables, I cannot list them all here.

You can use transaction ST05 (database trace) to help you find the tables you are looking for. You can turn on the trace function, run an APO transaction, and looks at the ST05 logs for the tables

When I activate source system in BW, problem with IDoc (ZSBB027) occurs.

"Type IDoc ZSBB027 BW is not like IDoc in source system,

Hi,
there is no need to activate ur Source system unless if there is any problem in ur Source system.
When ever u do some changes in ur data source then replicate that into ur BW by going into RSA1-> Source system-> right click , Replicate data source. later u can assign that to ur info source..
Once if u do the replication then u have to activate ur Transfer rules by executing RS_TRANSTRUE_ACTIVATE_ALL.

recently we finished client copy in BI production system to quality system,
now we are facing problem with source system connections in bI system
in RSA1 APO production system's source system is comes to BI quality system now i need to delete that APO source system in BI quality system ..please let me the process how can i delete source in BI quality
can i delete it as below

Apart from the two ways to delete the source system:
1.- log in into BI quality system --> RSA1 --> select source system which i need to deletse --> right click & delete
2.- Execcuting the FM 'RSAP_BIW_DISCONNECT.
If you cannot delete the source system:
Use fuction module RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE to delete
the source system:
1 - Go to SE37.
2 - Run fuction module RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE.
3 - Fill with the parameters as mentioned below:
      I_LOGSYS          = FUENTE
      I_FORCE_DELETE    = X
      I_NO_TRANSPORT    =
      I_NO_AUTHORITY    =
Or follow the recommendations from note 140276, Solution 2:
"You cannot delete the source system. Two cases have to be distinguished:
    o The source system still exists.
       Switch to Transaction SM59. Find the destination which has the
       same name as the logical system of the source system from field
       SLOGSYS in table RSBASIDOC (see above).
       - Such a destination does not exist in Transaction SM59. In this
          case, you have to create the destination to the source system.
          Name the destination equal the entry in SLOGSYS from above.
          Then return to the Administrator Workbench and repeat the
          deletion.
       - The entry exists but a remote login is not possible. Correct
          the communication parameters.
       - Everything works. Change to Transaction SE37, function module
          RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE, Sngl. test. Parameter I_LOGSYS =
          <log. name of the source system>, I_FORCE_DELETE = 'X'.
    o The source system no longer exists or was replaced with another
       source system with the same IP address.
       Proceed as described in the first case but make sure, that the
       field 'Target host' contains a not existing server in the
       maintenance screen of the destination (Transaction SM59). If
       necessary, change an existing entry. Later when you delete, the
       system asks you whether you want to delete, although the source
       system is not available. Select 'Ignore'. "

I have enahanced 2 fields to some standard data source, that fields data is comiong fine to RSA3 in Source system.
i am not getting 2 fields data to BI PSA, but that 2 fields data i am getting at in RSA3 Tcode source system.
i have tried all the ways to get data to BI PSA, but no luck.
so, while running infopacke from BI i need to stop at Source System's Abap code where i have wriiten the code for those 2 fields.
so, please any one can explain, how to stop at source system's Abap Code once i trigger infopackage from BI.

master data or transaction data
enter the TCODE- CMOD
choose the project
select the funciton exit - EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 - Transaction data
                                    EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 - master data attr
                                    EXIT_SAPLRSAP_003 - mster data text
                                    EXIT_SAPLRSAP_004 - master data hier.
choose the include program - ZXRSAU01.
go to source code tab -> go to change mode -> find the code will start form here
EX- : when " ZLIS_13_VDITM
if not required don't put break-point .
just comment it code.

How DAC decodes its Source System Parameters into Informatica mappings??

I would like to know about "How DAC decodes its Source System Parameters into Informatica mappings??".
Is it an informatica mapping? or through a file? or its internal to DAC server?
Can we say the DAC server to decode it differently i.e. can we costomize the decode process? For example
$$START_DATE - i gave "Custom Format(1950-05-21 01.23.56) @MM/DD/YYYY" at dac - and it decodes as '05/21/1950' but I want it to decode as TO_DATE('05/21/1950','MM/DD/YYYY') is this possible?
Note that the informatica mapping takes the first decoding '05/21/1950' as number and through a sql error.....

Please set the values of $$FILTER_BY_SET_OF_BOOKS_ID, $$SET_OF_BOOKS_ID_LIST in DAC and check if the values get reflected in the parameter files that DAC generates for informatica at run time.
If this does'nt work, see if the BI services were restarted after doing change in the parameter file. The services need to be restarted in order to reflect the change.

If it is a retail version ,then you need to deactivate it and uninstall it as well from your old computer and then you can install it back on the new computer.
If it a subscription based software ,then you just need to deactivate it and you can operate the same on your new computer by entering in your credentials .

A short desciption of my problem
History
        Installed Lightroom on my Zbook and activated my serial number
        Windows crashed and reciovery failed
        Format harddrive & re-install windows
        Downloaded Lightroom via free abode cloud interface (Dec/Jan)
        Could use lightroom until February
        Lightroom develop is inactivated ( I can see all my pictures in the Library mode)
        When I punch in my serial nr for lightroom I get the message that it is already active
I presume that the issue is that it seems that I am trying to active my license again ?

Hi Chinna,
In your landscape the TMS must have configured.Let assume that you have four six systems in the land scape.
DEV->DEV1->QUA->PRD and other two systems (TR1 ,TR2)are at different domain amd both are connected to QUA and the requests are forwarded from there.Here normally the flow willl be from DEV to DEV1, then DEV1 to QUA and QUA to PRD.For other two systems (TR1 ,TR2 )the source system will always be QUA.
