In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

I have itunes (music) from an old account for which I cannot recall the password to authorize my computer to play.  I try to retrieve the old password, but my challenge question asks me for my birthdate and when I enter it, it says it is incorrect.  The majority of my music was purchased from this old account and I dont know how to update the music to my current iTunes account.  Can anyone help or point me to a link?  Thx.

how do i authorize computer after deauthorizing in itunes

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

It is not actually in the iTunes Store, it is in the Store menu of iTunes.
To authorize, go to the Store menu item on the iTunes menu bar, and choose "Authorize This Computer..." as shown below.
If by any chance you don't see the menu bar ("File, Edit, View, Controls, Store, Help"), first enable it by using CTRL+B.

how can i create an account in itunes from Bangladesh ?

If you go to the artist's/group's page in the store then you should be able to do it e.g. search for the artist in the store, and on the right-hand side of the results page there should be list of content categories that match that search, and below it a link for the artist
Click on the artist's name to go to a screen listing their items, and at the top right of that screen there should be a 'share' icon'
Click on that and on the popup you should have an option for 'alert me' (I haven't used it but I assume that it works).
You can see what alerts that you have, and remove them, by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option - on your account's screen there should be an Alerts link

  • How can i authorize two accounts onto my mac???

I recently bought a new mac which asked me to authorize an itunes account. Thing is i have two itunes accounts that both have data on my ipod. I authorized one account onto my new mac but it wont let me authorize the second one! I already went to "VIEW ACCOUNT->AUTHORIZATIONS" and that doesnt give me the option to authorize the other account. Okay now on one account, which is the one currently authorized on my computer, only has three songs, so if it is not possible to authorize both accounts how can i just remove that account and just use my main itunes account! BTW i have already de authorized and reauthorized but i just cant get itune to authorize my main account. I am not exceeding my available devices.
    I appreciate any help. Thanx

You have to sign out from one account and sign in with the other to authorize your computer for the second account.  Then your computer will be authorized for both accounts.
