How to deactivate HOLD button?

Im having problems when on the phone i always accidentaly press the hold button its on the upper right of the screen. Is there anyway to deactivate it? or any solution for this. Its seems annoying i have to hold the z1 away from my ears and face...I hope somebody has a solution for this... Thanks

This is something I always advise as a lot of people are worried about pressing buttons with their face so dont hold the phone too close and this causes the proximity sensor to not activate which causes the exact problem they are trying to avoid.

This is caused by a program error.
Solution
Set the attribute 'Hold data' in the Screen Painter (Transaction SE51) for program SAPLMIGO in all screens. Generate the screen after you made the change. The functions are then available.
You do not need to implement the changes manually if you import Support Packages.
A prerequisite is that Note 303091 exists in your system.
Manage held data
You can use this function to hold the data you are currently entering. No documents are posted.
To retrieve this data, choose "Goods receipt -> Held data". When retrieving the data, the held data is deleted from the overview tree.
If you want to delete held data that is no longer required from the overview tree, you can select this data with "Goods receipt -> Held data".
It is also possible to use held data as a reference for frequently recurring transactions, that will not be deleted after being called again.
Caution:
Some data cannot be held by the system and has to be re-entered after you try to retrieve it. This data includes:
Batch classification
Import data
Profitability segment
In Batch Classification, newly created selection criteria is lost if you do not post the document immediately.

ME21N-deactivate hold button (BADI)

     Hold button in me21n screen is deactivated by using (me_hold_po),but my requirement is to hide or deactivate the hold button based on plant.
   alread i gave code as ch_allowed = space.How to hide the hold for certain plants.???????

you have badi for doing this .ME_HOLD_PO this is badi . Implement this in se19 . You have IS_ALLOWED method . In this method write ch_allowed = ' '. This will solve your requirement.

You can do it 2 ways,
One is
Code a Function code for the button in the Application toolbar that you want to disable.
For example, I am trying to disable the SAVE button on the Application toolbar. The Function Code that I have coded is 'SAVE'.
module STATUS_0100 output.
     APPEND 'SAVE' TO T_PFSTATUS.
SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS' EXCLUDING T_PFSTATUS.
endmodule.                 " STATUS_0100 OUTPUT
The second way is to create a transaction variant using SHD0
Give the Transaction code(ZTRAN) for which you want to create a variant -> name of some variant (ZVAR) -> create -> takes you to your transaction -> enter -> Menu Functions -> Double click on the button that you want to deactivate -> it turns yellow -> Click on Exit and Save -> Save and go back -> You can see a screen variant created (ZVAR_0100)
Now Goto -> Create variant transaction -> Give your transaction variant name (ZVAR) -> Select Transaction with variant -> Takes you to SE93 transaction -> The transaction variant name appears -> save
Now your new transaction is ZVAR -> Execute it and you will find the button deactivated

If I understand correct, the documentation says as follows : So you may want to check further with experts, if this can be executed as said. i.e you may be able to use the same transction, but give different users, different variant.
You can assign various transaction variants to individual sales document types.
With the help of transaction variants, you create various variants for the same transaction (for example, create sales order VA01), in order to simplify your transaction flows. You can achieve this by:
Preassigning fields with values
Fading out and changing input availability for fields
Fading out entire screens
<b>In this way, you can provide your users with screens which are defined according to their specific needs per sales document type.</b>
When a transaction variant is created, several screen variants are created for each individual screen for the transaction chosen for the variant. The system accesses this screen variant when a transaction variant is applied.

How to disable MOH for "on Hold" button.

CUCM 6.1
When on a conference call if a user presses "on Hold" button, music is played for all participants and nobody can hear anything. How can I disable music on hold for all users?
Please note, I could disable MOH for conferencing. But this is different issue. This is e.g. when everyone is in a conference (no matter what conference system, it could be ready talk, meeting place,...)and a participant receives another call and wants to answer the other call, in this situation I don't want any MOH played for other participants.

I first tried "suppress MOH for conference" by service--> service parameters -->select server --> select callmanager --> go to "clusterwide parameters(Feature-General) --> change the "Suppress MOH to conference Bridge" to true"
This did not work. The reason is that these users are accessing an internet coferencing system like "ready talk" and not a cisco conferencing system, so for Cisco this does not appear to be a conference but it is like a regular call.
I only have two callmanagers which also serve as MOH servers.
Media Resources-->Music On-Hold Server -->Set Run Flag to "NO"
This is explained in "MOH FAQ" from cisco.

The other way of doing this is not to assign any MOH server to the MRG or create a device pool without any MOH. (Media Resource Group set to NONE)
Although the above disabled the MOH, still the TOH "Tone on Hold" which is beep-beeps played every 10 seconds was annoying. So I increased the interval to 20 seconds by the same instructions in "MOH FAQ" how to disable / change TOH. Go to same page explained above but to "clusterwide Parameters(Device-General) and change "Tone on Hold Timer" Value to 20.

You are going to have to explain what is happening when you try to unlock your phone. I do not understand what you mean by "button control".

2) Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

IPod abrubtly cuts off and only comes back on when you unlock the hold button. why and how can i fix this?

I listen to my iPod Classic at work and it kept cutting off today out of nowhere and this hasn't happened before. I have it in my pocket so I have the HOLD button in the lock position so the wheel won't get pressed while in my pocket. I figured it died on me but I had just charged it last night so I took it out and unlocked the HOLD button. Well, the music immediately came back on. It happened a few more times and i figured maybe it was the song or something so I changed albums and it kept happening. Every time it would cut off, I'd unlock the HOLD button and it'd come back on every time, almost like it was paused or something. Has anyone experienced this? if so, how do I fix it? I really don't want to buy a new iPod since I have little money because of school, bills, and photography/film equipment. Help? thanks.

I'm having a hard time finding an answer to this too. This is what is going on. Sometimes the iPod (iPod Classic 160GB) does not "like" the songs I've downloaded from cds. Sometimes it does. I think it always plays whatever songs I've purchased on iTunes though. The other day I synced it to add two new cds and somehow the iPod was wiped clean--no songs, no pictures, nothing. I did a reset and the songs came back but now these problems:
1. The song will play for a few seconds then it either skips to the next song.
2. The song won't play, just skips to the next song.
3. Everything just stops, the iPod is still 'on' but won't play anything.
4. Right now it's playing an Aimee Mann album that I downloaded but it wouldn't play the Joni Mitchell album just before. Is the iPod making a comment on my taste in music?
Flipping the lock back and forth helps sometimes, but not always.
I bought this device less than two years ago; I really hope it's not permanently messed up. Should I just go to the Apple Store (please I beg of you, don't make me!) and throw myself at their mercy?
Help!! My iPod is the only thing that gets me through the day in this office.

1. Declare an internal table of type sy-ucomm. i.e.
DATA : it_fcode TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.
2. Append Function Codes of the options in the Menu that you want to deactivate to the above declared internal table. For e.g. If DWL & ADD are the Function Codes of options that need to be deactivated then,
APPEND 'DWL' TO it_fcode.
APPEND 'ADD' TO it_fcode.
3. Set PF_-Status as shown below.
SET PF-STATUS 'status_name' EXCLUDING it_fcode.
4. Now, the options in the menu bar with Function Codes 'DWL' & 'ADD' will be deactivated.

My hold button has broke on my Nano. How can I get this fixed?

The hold button on my Nano seems to have either jammed in, or broken. I would like to get it fixed. Is there a way I can do it myself? If not, what can I do?

If your Nano is still in warranty you can get it replaced for no charge at the Apple Store, if not you can do an out-of-warranty replacement for $79. Make a Genius Bar appointment before you go.
Or you can go with a 3rd party repair site.
