How to deactivate OWB Execution?

Hi,
Im not able to execute my mappings. It has been successfully validated and deployed, but couldnt excute the mappings. In audit browser it shows the status as busy. How can I solve this problem? Where can I find the audit id in OWB?

100% Agreed. Use of rule priority as any form of substitute for fully expressing the logic within the policy/rule would be considered poor practice. There are very limited uses for rule priority that are documented, but use of them to force evaluation order in lieu of fully expressing the conditions is not one of them. The recommended approach is to fully express all conditions and rely on the logical dependence between rules to "prioritize" the evaluation of them.

How to install owb 10.2 on aix server

server machine:
     os: aix
     owb version:10.2.0.1
     oracle db version:10.2.0.1
client machine:
compad notebook
os:windows xp
owb version:10.2.0.1
the oracle db is installed on the server machine
when ready to install owb on the server machine ,i have some question:
1.before install owb,i have set ORACLE_HOME variable to oracle db installed directory.
now how to set owb env variable, i should set ORACLE_HOME or OWB_ORACLE_HOME variable to owb will install directory?
export ORACLE_HOME=owb install directory or export OWB_ORACLE_HOME= owb install directory?
is it conflict with oracle db?
2.after installed owb,how to startup the control center service;according to the document,run the OWB_ORACLE_HOME/owb/rtp/sql/start_service.sql

2. You must create a repository before you can start the Control Center Service
3. I'm not sure, but I think you can use your local OWB

How to install owb server-side software on UNIX Solaris (SPACR-64)?
I've read the install guide
and it mentions
3. Start the installer by entering the following at the prompt:
cd mount_point
./runInstaller
I don't have access to any graphical interface on the UNIX box e.g. x-windows nor any cd with the software, just the solaris software downloaded from web - does this include the runinstaller
and is the runisnatller just a command line interface?
I hoped I would be able to download the software from oracle website and then simply run the a setup scrip?
Is it possible to do this? Would I simply substitute cd mount_point to cd <directory I put software)
I've never ran oracle universall installer on UNIX before.

Hi,
You can install the server-side software from the downloaded software.
You don't need the CD
You do need an X-windows client on your computer to connect to the server OR work directly on the server.
Without X-windows you cannot start the Oracle Universal Installer.
Maybe there is a command line installation, I have never used this.

Go into Withholding tax type under SPRO>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Withholding Tax>Extended Withholding Tax>Calculation>Withholding Tax Type.
While maintaining the Withholding Tax type you have selected "W/tax base manual" under the control data. Just don't select that option then your requirement will be met.
There are other options also like Manual W/tax amt. which you might want to go for.

Hi Dave,
You are not getting the deactivate option as it might be possible that Acrobat was installed with volume license serial key.
If the deactivate option is not available then please go ahead and uninstall the program.
After reformatting the drive, re install the software.

When I run the MRRL transaction I get the error as
"ERS settlement: No message was found for partner XYZ/company code ABC"
When I maintain the condition recor in MRM, the error disappears and the invoice gets posted.But at the same time it gets printed.
I do NOT want to print the invoices. How to deactivate the ERS output so that I do not need to maintain any condition records in MRM1 and the system should also not give any error message like the above.

attributes of Systems Messages'. Here you can use the pull down menu
and set the message to "switch off message" this can be set up for
individual users or for all users.
In this step, you can define the category of message received by
individual users for certain messages in Invoice Verification. This
allows you determine whether a user receives a message as an indication
of:
- Information
- Warning
- Error
- Or whether no message should be issued at all: message switched off

I want to know the query execution time in sql plus along with statistics
I say set time on ;
set autotrace on ;
select * from view where usr_id='abcd';
if the result is 300 rows it scrolls till all the rows are retrieved and finally gives me execution time as 40 seconds or 1 minute.. (this is after all the records are scrolled )
but when i execute it in toad it gives 350 milli seconds..
i want to see the execution time in sql how to do this

There are certain specifications which are not available in 0041 but still poping up automatically ,
i have checked the settings in T548Y but no help it doesnt have the options but in maintaing 0041 the options coming up .
