Hello Friends,
Any one knows how to deactive container monitor in SWUD.. Because i am getting error in SM58 status text 'Screen output without connection to user' .. I think i did activated container monter on in SWUD..

Hi John,
Please use .
When a task is executed, the container content is displayed in a dialog
box where changed container elements are flagged by a star. To switch
the container monitor off, choose Debug off in the container monitor.
The data displayed in the container monitor can also be found in the
workflow trace.

1. I know how to send Deadline Monitoring mail to an SAP INBOX. But i need to send the deadline monitoring mail to an external email address (LOTUS NOTES or any other email id).
2. If i am able to send Deadline monitoring mail to the external email address. It will send mail only once but, How to send these deadline monitoring mails for every 3 days until the approver takes some action.

The easy solution is to set up automatic forwarding for everyone by defining the system as NOT being your e-mail system. I don't know where this setting is (the Basis people did it), but with this setting SAP will forward every user's e-mail to the e-mail address in the user record.
For repeated sending I think you have to use modelled deadlines. Send the deadline message using a normal mail sending step and loop after calculating the new deadline. (i.e. you need to store the deadline in the container and refer to the container elements in your deadline specification.) The deadline calculation can either be a separate step or you can do it as a secondary method in the mail sending step.

I know this doesn't help you much, but, I think you have to see if your Mac pro does audio out via HDMI. I don't even know if mine does via DVI. I think it may have to do with the adapter. Try going into Audio MIDI and setting the digital out to multichannel
and using the toslink cable for now. Lemme see...apparently DVI does not carry audio at all. Hm. apparently monoprice could be helpful? If I understand what you're saying correctly: you want to take DVI and multichannel audio via the Toslink and have it all go out over HDMI, right? How to connect multiple monitors to a R6970 2PM2D2GD5?

This issue is driving me round the bend because everytime I want to connect a new monitor to my card I run into problems and I can't seem to find a complete authorative answer as to how and what I can connect.
Currently I have 3 monitors connected:
2x DVI
1x MiniDP-DVI (active)
I now want to connect a 4th monitor and tried it via the HDMI-Port. But alas, it doesn't work. Someone in a different forum said I couldn't combine the 2xDVI with the HDMI.
So what can I connect simultaneously?
Which ports can I combine?
And how do I do that?
What cables/adapter etc do I need?
Is there any info/manual/etc available which tells me that?
(First time I failed because I tried a non-active MiniDP-DVI dongle, till somebody told me I needed an active, ...)

[High level of difficulty] how to change the monitor display in the space of a full screen application

I have an application which when opening creates a personal space (I can get back to the desktop with F3).
But this application changes the display of my monitor : it sets "Adobe RGB 1998" (very painful)
The problem is : totaly impossible to change display monitor when i'm in the personnal space of the application.
How to open the monitor control panel when I'm in that space?
If i do F3 to come back on my desktop, the color of my display monitor return to LCD color, it's nice. However it's impossible to keep the LCD display when i come back on the application : "Adobe RGB 1998" comes automatically

How do i calibrate monitor to get print that looks like pic on screen?
I am using Photoshop CS3.
When I get a pic the way I want it on the screen and try to print it, it prints much darker. I could calibrate my iMac monitor for photoshop but can't find a way of doing it with my Satellite P200.
My printer is a Canon ip4300 and I'm using Canon ink and paper.

I think you need additional software and hardware to calibrate yout monitor.

How to create Service Monitor - best Way

I have a task at hand :
Creating monitor to alert when a service is stopped.
We are using SCOM 2012

My requirement is : there are like 100 such services on 100 different windows computers that i need to monitor.
The services are not common , so 2 computers have the same service , Maybe some service that i need to be monitored be on 2 computers but overall every service is unique.
What is my best option:
1.Create a basic unit monitor and target to Windows computer class ? Create is as disabled ? Override for just the machine that has it.
Will it clutter my Windows Server class health explorer . (How bad is that as per performance)
2.Create a Service monitor using Windows Service templates
Do i have to create 100 target groups , as i have to Target the monitor to specific computer only
Since template service monitor create discoveries , targets etc on its own (Am i going to clutter SCOM with a lot of those) 100
3.Do i create a attribute for each service , so as to extend the windows base class to discover the computer that has specific service (Using registry)
too much work is it and how good of an option is this.
4.MP Authoring ,Create new class discovery based on WMI / Registry to find computer and then target the monitor
What would you do in such a case.

If you want to actually report on the availability of this windows service (or add it to a Distributed Application) then you do need to discover it - either via the Authoring Template or authoring your own discoveries.
Only you can decide what you need and you might have a different need for each service depending on what it is doing.
Jonathan Almquist has a good walk through here about how to change service monitoring to allow for consecutive occurrences of a service being unavailable but it is deep authoring.

I am writing a program that read data from a file record by record and store to a database. my problem is here that i want add a progress monitor that when the program is doing its work it appear. I use ProgressMonitorInputStream class but it can not work well. It appear and read file record by record and store in table of database but its progress dont move and do nothing. I know that I have a tiny problem in use this class. Please guide me.

National Instruments has a great solution to your application. Unfortunatlely, it is not in LabVIEW 5.0 integrated but in LabVIEW 6.1. In this latest version of LabVIEW 6.1 you can see/run/monitor a VI in a Web browser by running your application with the built in LabVIEW web server and by publishing your VIs to the Web - it will be simple and easy!
I would recommend the upgrade to LabVIEW 6.1 - please check out the information on www.ni.com/labview and all the new features!

In that How to Deactive the Organistaion and Group.and the Person should be active only.

A simple solution would be:
Goto transaction 'BUSD' (transaction to maintain roles).
Select the role '000000'(Business Partner -General) -> Click on theDetails (CtrlShiftF2) in the tool-bar above. In the new screen showing the details of the role disable the Category 'GROUP' for thisrole. This would disable the 'Create Group' button in the 'BP'transaction.The role '000000' is the basic role for a partner. If the requirement is to disable the group button for all the roles -> Follow the same procedure for the remaining roles.
