How to deauthorize? Computers are gone and I need to de-authorize to use Itunes.

How do I deauthorize computers for itunes if a computer no longer exists? Says I have reached my 5 limit. Ridiculous.
Please help. I need to backup my failing iphone applications so I can activate my new iphone please.

I have obsolete computers and devices attached to my appleid. I cannot deauthorize them as they are gone!!! (Had a fire and had to replace all tech systems) Because I spent alot of monies on my purchases, it would be nice to be able to combine all these items and not have to repurchase them. Unfortuneately it has left me with very little left to try to convert to the mac systems entirely. Everytime I close and reopen firefox, my themes and add-ons are gone and I need to re-install them.

To be more specific, my chosen custom theme will be deleted, buttons for add-ons such as "white on black" will have to be added again, and settings such as the preference to save downloads on my desktop instead of a "Downloads" folder will be reset to the latter.
Also, when I reopen the browser, I get the Firefox Start Page, as I have specified, but I also get other tabs such as the homepages for greasemonkey and userstyles.org.
Please do help me if you can, I need a solution. I choose a theme that changes the entire skin to black because I work on the PC for long hours, and I need dark colours to help my eyes cope with the stress. It's going to be a massive strain if I have to re-install the theme everytime I close and reopen the browser.

IOBit's software is worse than useless and shouldn't be used. Use Window's built in uninstaller for all install/uninstall processes
Firefox data is saved in your user files, which aren't saved via restore points, so if the information is not there (the article I linked to above would help you find it) then it looks like it was lost because iobit didn't give you an option to save your files. Unless you have a backup of your data somewhere.
You could try a file recovery system, but if you've made changse to your computer since uninstalling (like installing new software, restarting your machine even) it's most likely not going to work.

I bought iTunes Match and authorised both iPads and both iPods. I have now enabled iTunes Match in my ipad and was warned it would replace my library. I pressed "enable" and now the 1800 songs in my library are gone and all I've got is the music my daughter bought from iTunes. What have I done wrong and how can I get my songs back. When I bought iTunes Match I got 1 e-mail confirming subscription and another providing receipt but nothing else no links etc. any assistance would be appreciated.

You can only upload music from your computer's iTunes, you can't do it from an iOS device - when you subscribe to iTunes Match on your computer it should have scanned your music library on it and matched or uploaded any non-iTunes purchased music to it.
Do you have copies of those tracks anywhere e.g. on an iOS device or on your backup of your downloads/library ? If they are iTunes purchases then they should be in the cloud. If they were copied from CDs or bought from other sources then if they are only on an iOS device (i.e. you don't have them on a backup) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

Is the following not working for you?
For computers:
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "Deauthorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "deauthorize all" your authorized computers, authorize each one as required.

I wanted to move my itunes library to external hard drive to make space on my internal hd. Ive been having trouble with backing up and to make a long story short, my music is gone of my hard drive ( internal), im now backing it up from the ipod directly to my external hd, I did it a bit wrong but its getting there anyway. Yes, the iPad is designed to erase all data, when you connect it to a new computer. It only syncs the data that is on the computer you connect to, to the device. If you don't have your epub and pdf documents on the computer, and set to sync via iTunes.......they will erase.
You need to move the data from the other computer, to the mac. Once they are on the mac, you can connect the iPad, and sync it to the iPad.

I re-installed my operating system, backup files, and iTunes. It says I have already authorized 5 computers with my account, and will delete my many apps unless I get authorised. I just use one laptop with iTunes.
How do I deauthorize the other computers? How do I do it without deleting my apps?

Hmm, well I know how to deauthorize computers. you go to Store-> Then De Authorize Computer. I know that if you delete apps you've bought in the past and you remember them you can re download them with no extra charge. Sorry if this doesn't help :S. but from what you've asked, I've given all i know.

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

The serial number is in the EXIF. Any EXIF reader will display it.

My bookmarks are gone, and the awesome bar is not working anymore.

Yesterday morning I had a short problem with my internet connection. I used the qwest quick care to try and solve the issue, but it didn't really help. The internet connection was restored later in the day. Now, however, all my bookmarks are gone and the "awesome bar" no longer makes suggestions for sites when we start typing.
