How to decrease touch screen sensitivity on iphone 6...buttons pushing themselves when not touched

Iphone 6 is having touch screen issue where I will be listening to voicemails or pandora on speaker or bluetooth and buttons will be pushed even though I'm not handling phone...very annoying when listening to many voicemails...can I make touch screen less sensitive?

Thanks I'm having the same issue... only intermittently. Phone changes screens, browser moves ahead, back, goes to pages in my history... all without me touching the screen or any button. It's definitely weird! They'll love that it only does it intermittently too. Won't happen when I'm at the Apple Store. I guarantee it.

I just tried to access my contacts on my phone and found that the phone screen is unresponsive. Everything else on the iphone works perfectly so it isn't a hardware problem. Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

The touch screen on my iPhone 5 has just become really sensititive, so much so that it makes the phone impossible to use. You don't even need to touch the screen and it starts typing letters. It makes using the search in contacts useless. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix???

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Recently, the bottom edge of the touch screen on my iPhone stopped responding to touch. I have gone through all of your hints and tips in the service information pages to see if there was a DIY solution. The little 'dots' which indicate water damage are white. I checked those in case someone else had caused water damage to my phone, as I do not live alone. The home button works fine, the non-functioning area of the screen prevents me from using all functions for which the screen will not revolve to the side when the phone is tipped. Before you claim the hardware failed, try basic troubleshooting as described in the User's Guide of reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).
If none of these resolve the issue, Apple offers and Out of Warranty replacement for $149US.

HA! I figured the find my iphone out!!!!! You can have more than one icloud account in "Mail, Contacts and Calendars". So my husband's & kids' phone icloud account under "settings, icloud "is their individual @me.com account. Set it to everything you want EXCEPT Find My Iphone. Then under "settings, mail/contacts/calendars" you set up both accounts (your @me.com which may already be there), then add another with the main appleID and enable ONLY Find My Iphone. Now when any of us log into Find My Iphone from any device with our main apple ID for the app store, all the devices show up!!!! YIPPEE. I made my own day!
I think the message I got previously was because I hadn't disabled the find my iphone on the @me.com account first.

Removing the SIM has no affect on the power of the phone. It is just the part that facilitates connecting to your carrier. Try holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo on the screen and then release the buttons. The phone should reboot. You may need to hold the buttons together for 15-30 seconds.

If the calendar is connected to a server account, like Exchange, you cannot sync via iTunes. You need to connect to the server on your MacBook.
If it is not connected to a server account then you need to ensure syncing is set up in iTunes. This is in the Info tab for your selected phone in iTunes.
