If u defined profit centres,Add Costing code field using form settings for marketing documents.
Apply formatted search using query(Develop 2 queries for users with reqd. plants)
Below sample query assign our own plant codes.
SELECT T0.OcrCode, T0.OcrName FROM OOCR T0 Where T0.OcrCode IN ('East','North','South')
In journal entry,U need to enter plant manually / Use form settings Document tab --->Table Tab,
Enter plant there,It will copy to all rows.

We create production orders without material i.e CO07 for rework orders. My question is i want to default one profit centre for creation of this kind of production order as users tend to forget to put the profit centre as it is not coming as default fro materail since there is no material involved. Can anybody guide is there a way to do this?

Dear ,
You need to linked this through the activity type assinegd to re-work activity in Production Work Centre .U can create an Re-work work Cnetre and assing this work centre in Reference Operation set and creat the Re work Production Order .The activity type assinged to this cost centre and work centre will be internally linked in profit centre .
Or create a dumnmy material with Profit centre assinged in Costing 1 , Create Rework Order in CO07 .

How we know the rights for particular user..?

in BO CMC, how we will know what are rights and authorizations he has for all groups...

Log in to CMC and slect the group and select properties of the group or user and to user security to see their rights.
I don't see any other automated system telling you the rights for each group.

How to set different default interactive reports for different user groups?

I'm probably overlooking an obvious solution, but how do I set different default interactive report for different user groups?
For the same interactive report, I want one set of users to see a default where the default filter is based on column X. However, another group of users doesn't have authorization to see that column so I need to set the default filter to something else for them.

You can set a filter on a report in a URL - would that help? I think with apex 4.x you can also link to a saved default report or alternative report...

How to configure default parental settings for all users (10.7)?

I've made a silent installation of iTunes using MSI files and it works well.
I need to enable parental controls and configure it. Users must be preventing of changing these settings.
At the end of the iTunes installation I automatically created registry keys :

According to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2102 it is the procedure to set default parental settings for all users and to lock these settings.
When iTunes is first launched, parental settings are not set nor locked.
I use iTunes 64 bits on Windows 7 64 bits.
Where is the mistake?

Urgent- Wrong profit centre for service tax codr in MIRO

Hi FI gurus,
I am posting miro for which sales tax code is defined. This code is taking wrong profit center. There are profit centre for each factory location. So when entry is for particular location the tax should go to that profit centre.
Please guide me how we can post to correct profit centre the tax amount, when the profit center is at each factory level.

This message will appear if either the background jobs are not scheduled, or UWL cannot tell that the background jobs are scheduled. The message no longer appears once you ensure the background jobs are scheduled to run via the user id UWL_SERVICE and that user is mapped to my portal user ID UWL_SERVICE.

What Internet limits do you want to set for specific users? Group Policy user settings can be configured to apply to specific users, like via security filtering or GPP item-level targeting. The path for Internet Explorer policy settings under User Configuration
is: User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer.
You can also use GPP Internet Settings extension to manage IE settings and use GPP ILT to apply the settings to specific users. However, GPP settings can be edited by standard users after getting applied.

Interest doc posting with default Profit Centre.

HI all
While calculating interest on customer from T.Code F.24, we need to post the documents by executing the relevant session at SM35.
at every document system asks for Profit Center to be entered manually. We want this to be automated. system to pick up the one common Profit centre for interest Revenue GL account.
Request your help how I can achieve this.
Note: I have updated at T.Code OKB9 and at T.Code 3KEH, but both are not woring for revenue GL account.

i need to lock few transaction for particular users only. we have n number of roles and the transactions have been assigned to some tcodes to be reasticted for a list of users. is there any method or program to built to restrict the users for few tcodes.is there any more query pl trigger me

as you said if i start creating roles to restrict some users then there atleast 25 tcodes are there to restrict and 120 roles are to be analyzed and the job becomes hefty by creating roles and there will too many number of roles and it becomes confusion in future forecast. there fore i nedd any suggestion like that the userscan be restricted when they are trying to access that particular code or lock the screen or inform them to not access these tcodes thro some message or writing a program to restrict the users while the user exits. i have an idea but i dont know how it will work - ( I am not a ABAPER) there should be tcode or program which should list tcodes authorized for particular users and where they can be locked like SM01 ( but it will lock for all) but locking for particular users

If you want to check activity of perticular user for the problems then you can use trace on for particular user only for the time period. Please be careful trace on is not recommended by SAP.

Menu Exclusion for particular users

Hi All,
I don't think there is a way for my requirement but still want to check with you all if I can get any other solutions for this.
For a custom responsibility can we exclude the Menu items for particular users. For example the menu items are Reports1, Reports2. User1 should only have access to Reports1 and user 2 for Reports2. Can we do it by any profile options or how to achieve this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please confirm whether you wish to exclude menu or reports.
But anyway that being requested, if you wish to exclude a specific menu only to a particular user whilst having them to other user is not possible unless you create a different menu and assign it to a new responsibility and then assign it the user.
The same is applicable to the reports, but the same layout should be followed on request groups.
