How to default "release date" as today in ME59N

Hi Experts,
Could you please advise how to default "release date" as today in ME59N ?

Hi,
Transaction code ME59N used for Automatic creation of Purchase orders from requistions
This selection screen input set default value as Release date only possible by saved as Variant (Shift +F5) -
Input the selection screen fields
ex, Purchasing group, purchasing organisation, vendor , Plant,material, release date etc and then saved this selection screen as TEST variant,
Next, time when you run this t.code ME59N choose this variant and then convert as PO.
There is no other possible to set default as release date in selection screen input via ME59N

I want to schedule a job in background to execute CAT5 automatically but system should consider posting date as 'as on date'/ 'Current date' for transferring the all hours into project otherwise it throws an error 'Posting period is not open'.

IMG> FA> AR & AP> Business Transactions> Incoming Payments> Manual Incoming Payments> Define Tolerances
See what has been set for payment term for Residual Items.

I use my iPod Classic just for video documentaries (mostly archaeology) downloaded from my DVDs. How can I either get rid of the phrase "unknown release date" or fill out that release date.

Got MetaX, which works! Use the original m4v-file from the computer. When entering date in MetaX, do it like 2013-04-28. Then enter the file in iTunes. Then when transferring from iTunes to the iPod, it changes to April 28, 2013. Perfect. Great product for only $9.95.

How to default current date in MIGO while creating a return delivery

While creating the return delivery using 122 mov type, system is defaulting the document date of the original doc which is being referred as the document date of the return delivery document.

How to get release date of PR at different levels of releasing strategy

Hi All,
In the releasing strategy of PR we have three levels R1 R2 & R3.
Suppose a PR is release at R1 level on 01.01.2009
at R2 level on 03.01.2009
at R3 level on 05.01.2009.
How will I come to know the relese date at all the three levels of a PR.

IT is not depend on the mateail number.
Based on object class 'EINKBELEG' and object id 'u r PR number* U can get the record from CDHDR.
In CDPOS u will have file fieldname also for which field u have 'Chnage document' check box is checked then those deails will be stored in.
Look at the FM 'CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_HEADERS' and 'CHANGEDOCUMENT_READ_POSITIONS'

How to DEFAULT CURRENT DATE in the filed of a Z_screen of Z_Module pool prg

In my module prog., input/output field defined, which is for DATE in screen_1000.
So, this DATE shuld always defalted with CURRENT DATE in screen displplay(not necessorily Grey).
So, while defining this P_DATE in top include, like,
P_DATE type sy-datum value sy-datum---> syntax error
so, tried like,
constant_sy_datum = sy-datum
P_DATE type sy-datum value constant_sy_datum---> syntax error
no use,
So, in PBO , I hv wrote like, p_DATE = sy-datum.
but, its not working, so, How to do it, request for piece of code.

For module pool declare p_date as data in TOP i.e.
data: p_date TYPE sy-datum
Then in PBO , we move sy-datum to the g_date i.e.
*&      Module init OUTPUT
*       text
*********************** Initialization part.***************************
MODULE init OUTPUT.
MOVE sy-datum TO g_date.
ENDMODULE.                 " init OUTPUT
This will solve your problem.

How to control the default Reverse Date at VL09

At VL09 (reverse goods movement) screen, the default Reverse Date is today.
If users want to modify the Reverse Date,
users have to select a line, click on define date button and input date into the local date field at pop-up screen.
I want the default Reverse Date at VL09 screen to be the same as the Actual GI date of delivery.

When u set deafult date in the OAMessageDateFieldBean, the OAInlineDatePickerBean (which are referring as datepicker popup windows), takes the default value from OAMessageDateFieldBean.
If you explore OAMessageDateFieldBean in framework, u will find its nothing but a onClick js event is called on the imageicon attached with messagetextinput bean(in case the type is Date) and OAInlineDatePickerBean is opened in a modal js window.
So, here is code for setting default value both in both in OAMessageDateFieldBean and OAInlineDatePickerBean :
OAMessageDateFieldBean dateField = (OAMessageDateFieldBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive(<item id>);

Default delivery date in sales order

Hi guys
A strange problem: I have two sales organisation (sales org.channeldivision) we will call A and B and two sales order documen type (C and D).
Both the document type have as default delivery date the today date.
I created a order using A and C combination: the default delivery date appear to be 01.01.1990 always.
I created with A and D it is ok (today date).
I created with B and C it is ok
I created with B and D it is ok.
I precise: no customer or material has been already assigned to order.
How it is possible? Other values, a part from default flag over the document type, can change the delivery date over the sales order?

Found: it is the sales org. factory date, but only because the document type C has a lead time value. When no lead time exist, like for document type D, the system take the today date correctly.

PLEASE HELP! finding ORIGINAL release date of music

Does anyone know of a way to change the default release date of music to the actual date the music was released? Is there a more efficient way, other than looking up each song one at a time at a site like www.allmusic.com? PLEASE HELP!!

Just in case I'm interpreting something about your description, you don't need to change info for every song one at a time.
If you have a lot of songs in which they are the only song of a given album, then yes, you have to. But in the case where you want to change all the tracks on a given album to have the release date of that album, you can select all the tracks for that album by clicking the first track, holding SHIFT, and then clicking the last track. Then press CMD+i to bring up the Info window and you can change the date for the whole album at once.

Wrong Release date in Purchase requisition wh later than requisition date

Hi,
Purchase requisition created through Planned order then Source (contract) is assinged through Transaction ME57.
After that in display of PR as found below mentioned below,
Release date is 27.11.2008 and Requisition date is 04.12.2008. MRP type maintained in Material is Auto Reorder point.
Checked In display changes of PR as Planned delivery time new value is 45 (45 maintained in Contract and contract assigned in source list) and old value is 0 (Material master-MRP 2 view) on 04.12.2008.
My question is How come PR release date as past as 27.11.2008 when requisition (PR creation date) date is 04.12.2008. Suggest any setting required to check.

If I guess, there is an exception message "06" on the PR.
check with MDO4, if there is the exception message 06 that means :
In order to get material at requested time you have to release the PR in the past. This message help the purchaser to detect the problem and try to reduce to lead time by calling the supplier.
PR release date = Requested date - safety time- lead time - setup time - processign time- ....
If you want to change the system behaviour you have to change to chage the item strategy ont the:
MRP3/Planning/Strategy group.

im trying to figure out how to add release date info of the episodes in my tv shows on the new itunes. if i right click on an episode and click get info i cant seem to find anywahere in the tabs where i can write in its release date

The date field shud accept values taht are Greater than equal to todays Date (Default) only.By default it shud be todays date
or the user can choose either a future date ,however he shud not be able to see the report for previous date.

You can use a variable with processing type user exit. If the user choose some other date and execute, then in the [I_STEP = 2|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/1d/ca10d858c2e949ba4a152c44f8128a/frameset.htm] check the date whether it is less than the current date , if so given an message, else proceed with user selected values.
