How to default to my aol mail

I use aol.com mail....but when I am in other websites and try to send a email it defaults to safari mail and will not send even when I select their server...formerly you ask for my password and then send mail....but not now. How do I set the default?

I am new to apple and am still working myself through the program...the mail icon pulls up my aol incoming and out going mail. I did solve the problem when I would send mail from another site...safari would open an email window...not my aol mail window and I could not sent because it would not default to the aol smtp. I went to mail preferences .. accounts and checked incoming mail account and outgoing mail account and found the error...I had not completed the account name and password for the aol outgoing smtp. I filled in the information and it works properly now. I understand that you don't call it safari mail for some reason but I can send and receive there and find it a valuable backup for my aol mail and it is a quicker read than my aol mail. There is no "AOL mail app that comes with iOs." The iOS Mail App can't be deleted. Is your phone jailbroken?

AOL Mail on the Web Imports

Can I get my AOL Mail on the Web address book and Saved E-mail Folders onto my hard drive and then into my Mac Mail? I have downloaded the latest version of AOL for Mac, but none of my saved e-mail folders or address book transferred. None of these items transferred when I set up my Mac Mail to add my AOL account either. So, my question is: how can I do this -- I assume I need to somehow import these items to the hard drive -- either to my downloaded AOL software for Mac or to another location and then import the info into Mac Mail, but I'm stumped. I did tons of Google, Mac, and AOL searches and cannot figure out how to get anything off AOL Mail on the Web and onto my Mac.

for this, i suggest getting in contact with AOL as this is a webmail service provided by them.
i would also suggest that you try other webmail providers such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc and see if it works.
at the same time , try using a different browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Opera

Cannot set up AOL mail for iPhone

How can I set up AOL mail to receive on my iPhone in the "All Inboxes" location. I have deleted my old AOL account and added a new one with same user name and updated password but I receive the message that "wrong username or password for imap.AOL.com"

When you state that your Stratosphere can't connect to the server, are you trying to receive or send emails?

Is your document a PDF?
Did you have it open in Reader or Acrobat Prod?
Can you log into https://files.acrobat.com/ and search for your document?
If your document is a PDF, you can open it in Adobe Reader and you can send the file using Adobe SendNow
Select 'Tools' from the top bar
In the right hand panel select 'Send Files'
Click on 'Sign In' - you will be prompeted to enter your Adobe ID and password
Enter an email address into the To field
Option: Fille out the Subject and Message fields
Select Send Link button

Depending on exactly what you want to do, there are a couple of ways of handling this. You may want to access teh user guide for some ideas: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/ipad_user_guide.pdf

From the Mail menu bar, select
Mail ▹ Preferences ▹ Signatures

Try deleting the .plist.
Quit the application.
In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer ones.
If you want to make your user library permanently visible, run the below command in Applications/Terminal.
chflags nohidden ~/Library/
You will need to do that after any updates.
