How to define another charset?

I've installed solaris 9 SPARC, and get no problems in command line interface with charcode, but when i go into X (using VNC) i get an different keyboard configuration.
Why this is happening?
How can i set an portuguese (pt_PT) charset so i don't get this problem?

Hi,
my customer wants to use another/second image prefix for his specific images
(just as it is used with #IMAGE_PREFIX# pointing to the virtual path /i/ (by default)).
What do i have to do, to use something like e.g.
#MY_IMAGES# pointing to another virtual path /j/ located in /home/images ???
(I dont want to change the original /i/, i'm looking for a second one)

Create another application level item MY_IMAGES which holds the new virtual path for your image. But you need to use &MY_IMAGES. or V('MY_IMAGES') to get the new path.

Iu2019m a BI and BPS consultant and Iu2019m doing a prototype for evaluating BPC for Sales Planning and I need some help.
Process flow as:
a.     Extract sales from COPA (amount and quantities);
b.     Copy Actual to Budget version;
c.     Create new customers;
d.     Delete old customers;
e.     Calculate the seasonality of sales & and adjust budget;
f.     Load & adjust prices
g.     Load & adjust sales costs
h.     Calculate Net Revenue
i.     Calculate costs
My file format is as given below:
Account|Category|Time|RptCurrency|Entity|Customer|Product|Amount|Quantity
Questions:
1- There is a specific KF to load quantity or I should use another account? If so how do I load the unit measures?
2- I tried to load my file in u201CEuru201D but I received an error. The upload only finished OK when I changed the currency to u201CLCu201D. There is any trick?
3- In customer dimension, I add the sales org. attribute but it didnu2019t work out because a customer can have more than one sales org. There is any way to define a compound key for a dimension?
4- Where can I find relevant documentation about BPC?

2. Yes is easy for me to convert LC in any other currency after the data load. But the problem is that I must load data in multiple currencies (EUR, USD)u2026

How to define data-sources-alias.xml to use Oracle data source

Hi,
I created Oracle jdbc Data Source named "MYDS" in Visual Admin. I added the alias = MYDS_ALIAS. I set the Initial Connection to 2. On the Monitor tab, I see a green line running across the screen. The datasource MYDS is connected to the Oracle.
Now, I would like to define "data-sources-alias.xml" to use MYDS.
When creating data-source-aliases.xml it creates the alias by default on ${com.sap.datasource.default} which is the default DB.
I followed the link --> How to point data-source-aliases.xml to another Datasource
and my data-sources-alias.xml is now:

Hello kumar,
- Download the support packs from service.sap.com (provided you have a login ID) to the usr\sap\trans directory.
- Open a command prompt and change the directory to
NT: :\usr\sap\trans
UNIX: /usr/sap/trans
- Unpack the support packs using the following command:
NT: CAR -xvf :
.CAR
UNIX: CAR -xvf ///.CAR
This command unpacks the files that need to be imported into your SAP instance into the usr\sap\trans\eps\in directory.
- Log into client 000 as user DDIC
- Call transaction SPAM
- Once in transaction SPAM, go to menu option Support Package->Load Packages->From Application Server. It will ask you if you want to upload the files - click the green check mark on the box that appears to upload the files.
- Another screen will appear listing the files that you uploaded successfully - just click on the Back arrow to get back to the SPAM screen.
- On the SPAM screen, click on the Display/Define button.
- A box will appear with the Support Package categories (Basis, ABA, etc.)
- Click on the category for the support packages that you uploaded and it will list them in order.
- You can apply them individually or the whole list at one time.
- To apply individually, select the first one in the list and then hit the green check mark at the bottom left of the box. Then on the SPAM screen, go to menu Support Package->Import Queue.
- Confirm that you want to import the support package.
- Once it is done importing, you have to confirm the queue by clicking on the
Confirm Queue button - this will turn the yellow light in the Status area to green.
*Always check your logs after applying support packages by clicking on the Logs button in the SPAM screen.

This is a selection table which contains the DIMENSION name and the selection options. Here is how to fill the table. For example, say you wanted to select on only JAN.2012 for a certain account.

Answering you question, Say you have 2 SWCV's. SWCV A and B. All objects imported in SWCV A should be visible in B. In this case, go to SWCV B and in this, Go to the Dependency Tab , and Select SWCV A here as the dependent Component.
In your IR, Clear SLD Cache and Reimport the 2 SWCV's into the IR and now you will see the Basis Objects in SWCV B. All the existing objects will not be affected as a result of this reimport into IR.

Please note that everything below applies to JSR168 portlets ONLY- JSR286 portlets and other portlet types handle events a little differently.
From inside your JSR168 portlet you can send an event during processAction or when receiving another event by using the PortletBackingContext object, such as:

1.First create the table in CU61,_set the status as released_,include the check box for decision table and assign the
characteristics created in CT04 and save the data.
2.IF it's not set with the status released means you cant maintain any values in the table in CU60.
3.The use of including this check box for decision table is when you maintain the table values using CU60,automatically the
system proposes all the combination of characteristic values.
4.Say for Eg: in CU61 you have assigned 2 charac values one is colour and you have 2 values for this say Blue and red and
another charac say gear type and you have 2 values one is 4 gear and another is 5 gear type,now 4 different combination is
possible,so this combination will come in CU60.

Redwood CPS - how to define dependant jobs?

I am trying to schedule a job to run only after another job has ran successfully using Redwood CPS. I understand that the best way to do this is as follows:
1) Define an new event - e.g. JOB_COMPLETION
2) Define a new Job Chain, and assign a Step and a the first job to run to this. Set the 'Raise Events' tab to JOB_COMPLETION and the drop down box 'Status To Raise On' to 'Completed'
3) Define another new Job Chain with a Step and the next job you want to run after completion of the first job. Set the 'Wait Events' tab to JOB_COMPLETION and Auto Submit to 'Always' and tick the 'clears event' tick box
4) Right click on the first Job Chain and Submit - set a time for the job to run.
What happens: the first job chain/step runs okay. Looking at the event JOB_COMPLETION it says both the Raise Event and Wait Event were both executed - and cleared afterwards - yet the second Job Chain was never ran? In the job status, it says 'Never'.... any idea how I get this to run on completion of the first job?

I think the best way to do it is to just use the jobchain object. You can do as follow:
- Create a jobchain with 2 steps
- First script in the first step, second script in the second step
By default, script 2 does not run if script 1 failed.

In oracle rac, If user query a select query and in processing data is fetched but in the duration of fetching the particular node is evicted then how failover to another node internally?

The query is re-issued as a flashback query and the client process can continue to fetch from the cursor. This is described in the Net Services Administrators Guide, the section on Transparent Application Failover.

we use to do like(goto->attributes-HRReportcatagerious ).but How to desin using customer table like t599c, t599f and how to add to my logical database?
