If you simply want to get rid of Office, find the main program in applications and drag it to the trash. Then use spotlight to find any more Office elements relating to that program that might be located in other places and toss them in the trash. Then empy the trash.

This is not a client issue, POP accounts do NOT sync but IMAP accounts do, find out how your accounts are actually setup. If they are POP then they are not working correctly and you should consult MS support (for Outlook) or your mail provider.

Help! I have downloaded Mountain Lion (10.8.4) on my iMac. Now I can't open or use files that contained labels I made with Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 because Mountain Lion does not support Power PC and Microsoft Excel. If I purchase and download Office for Mac 2011, will it allow me to continue using these label files? If not, how can I get a database for my iMac that will enable me to create labels and catalogues?

I did try to get OpenOffice, but my computer says "'OpenOffice' can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer" and my "security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers." How can I do this? I really don't know about the inner workings of my computer!

@Kally24, you don't state what iPhone model or iOS you are using but for iOS 5 you need the following System
Apple ID (required for some features)
Internet access
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.5.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.5 or later (free download from www.itunes.com/download)

Email working fine in outlook, but no contact or calendar information. Microsoft said it is an Apple issue. They said icloud is not compatible with Outlook. I have OS Lion if you need to know that.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

I am trying to create an animated chart for a presentation, I finally found and have added the developer ribbon so I can add buttons and write the macro to make it work. I have a macro code to use to make the animation work. I am using the following code to write what the button should do:

This is not possible.
Apps for the Mac are for Mac conputers only running Mac OS X only. iDevices use Apple's mobile OS iOS. They are not cross compatible OSes.
You would have to use the App Store on your iPad to see if Microsoft has done a scaled down iOS version of Microsoft office for Apple iDevices. I am not sure if they have or not.
The only Microsoft-like office apps for your iPad that are on The App Store for your iPad is Apple's own Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

Microsoft didn't include that with the 2011 version.
There is a third-party application that substitutes for the add-in: http://www.analystsoft.com/en/products/statplusmac/
They also have a limited, free version.

I am trying to install office for mac 2011 on my new imac which I have already installed parallels and windows 7. On inserting the office dvd the computer defaults to windows. Parallels support suggested disabling the dvd drive in parallels. I have tried this but still the computer wants to open the exe file with windows. Any ideas please?
