I have deinstalled oracle 11gR2 from my system still cant delete database folder and all the services of are still found in services and I cant install fresh copy of oracle.

Oracle does a notoriously bad job of deinstalling and cleaning up. For windows I do the following
- Run th OUI and let it do as much as it does to uninstall.
- Delete the registry key HKLM/software/oracle
- restart the machine
- delete the oracle_home directory, and any parents as seems appropriate
- delete teh 'program files\oracle' directory

I wondered how to deinstall Oracle Developer 6.0 from Windows 2000. although i tried using Developer 6.0 CD to deinstalled the products, but after i clicked the remove button. whole windows is gone. using Oracle 8 CD doesn't work too.
could i just delete the folder which contains developer 6.0, will it work? should i change some path or some data in the configuration file?

IMO there is just one way that works:
- first step: look for running forms services (forms server or more), stop them
- second step: go to the registry, erase the whole key: hkey_local_machine/software/oracle
-delete the whole directory with forms.
Its brute force, I know; but it works within 5 minutes!!

I installed Oracle database 11g twice on my machine, I have dbhome_1 and dbhome_2, but I want to uninstalled dbhome_2.
I have started to uninstall it but where i hanged is where in the command prompt to : Specify all Single Instance listeners that are to be de-configured [LISTENER]:

How to deinstall Oracle Developer 2000 6i and again install properly

My HDD is partitioned as C,D,E and F. Oracle 9i is successfully installed in my system in C:\ drive (C:\oracle)and it's running fine. when i was going to install Oracle Developer 2000 6i in F:\ drive it dint show neither any error message nor message like successfully installed but all icons are there. when i was started the forms buider it's showing " ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name" error. how to run forms builder? i have installed in XP. should i deinstall Oracle Developer 2000 6i? if yes, how to deinstall that and how to install it properly?
should i install oracle 9i database before and then oracle developer 2000 6i or vice versa???

I tried to install Oracle 9i into my laptop yesterday but its giving me an error and I stopped installation but unfortunatly Oracle created its service in services and also created all folders in programe files and Oracle home. When I tried to deinstall through Oracle universal installer its not showing blank in install products but I physically can see the files and oracle service.
When I try to install again from the begining its giving me an error saying Oracle 9i service cannot be created. Service already exists.
So what Do I do now. How can I deinsatll all the Oracle products and clear my PC registry as well.

How to deinstall Oracle URM11g

I have extended my weblogic server domain to install URM11g. During the process I haven't added the URM to the existing cluster. After extending the domain the urm directory is created under the domain with the blank config directory. The URM managed server is not available in the weblogic console. We have clustered ucm environment in weblogic but during URM11g installation we didn't select that option to add to the cluter. At that time weblogic server(Admin server) was up and running. Please advise me for the following queries.
1). After the restart of the Admin server we are not able to see the URM_Server1 in the console.
2). Under the domain directory 'URM' folder has been created with empty config directory.
--> Can we uninstall the URM11g separately from the domain and reinstall inside the cluster. Since in the extend domain screen 'URM' option is selected and grayed out.
--> If it is possiible to uninstall URM11g, during reinstallation og URM11g can we use the same schema or do we need to create a new one.
Please help me to resolve this.

How to cleanly deinstall oracle clusterware?

when I am trying to install Oracle clusterware in two nodes, on the last step (when SA run root.sh on the second node (node2), we failed for some reason. now we want to deinstall Oracle clusterware for another reinstallation.
What I do is from the first node (node1) on which I am installing Oracle clusterware, I use OUI to remove the installed CRS_home for both nodes, during that process, I got an error message like:
could not remove listed directory based on '/tmp/OraInstall 2007-06-14_01_39_36 PM/installRemoveDirFile.lst' from nodes ' node2_name' [PRICC-1002: All the submitted commands did not execute successfully]
Node2_name:
/bin/rm: cannot remove '/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs/bin/racgons' permission denied.
/bin/rm: cannot remove '/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs/bin/cemutls' permission
denied.
then I select 'not to continue' to exit OUI, after that, I checked that I can not find CRS_Home from node1 in OUI, that means I can not use OUI for a clean deinstallation.
I want an clean deinstallation of oracle clusterware on both nodes, that is my purpose,
I hope any friends can give me some instructions to achive that goal?
(they are brand-new servers, no other things installed, so can I just rm everything under /u01/app/oracle??? )

Now that you don't see CRS home at all, then there is no question of clean de-install as you will not be able to invoke OUI at all.
Just delete all the files under the ORACLE folder on both the nodes.
There might have been some entries in the system related folders. Not sure though becuase on windows it makes such entries under system folder.

How to configure oracle 9i server

I am a newbie to oracle. I need to configure oracle server for studying PL/SQL. I have SQL*Plus: Release 9.0.1.0.1 in it. I need a username and password on my localhost to login to it. I dont know how to run Oracle Database Server for it and how to create an user account. Could someone direct me how to do it? I just need to login to SQL Plus and study it.

Do yourself a favor and deinstall 9i. It is obsolete and currently in desupport.
If your intent is to learn Oracle then download 11g and use it instead.
Then go to Morgan's Library at www.psoug.org and you can use the index to find demos you can use to learn all basic functionality.

whould be enough ??? or do I have to do anything else ????
And after that how do I recreate it ....???

How to deinstall when OUI fails?

I am trying to deinstall oracle 11g from my machine. I follow the instructions to use the Oracle Universal Installer. When I execute the OUI, I get a failure and one of those "do you want to send the error report to Microsoft?" prompts. There is no useful description of the error message.
So... how can I proceed from here? Am I just SOL and need to reinstall Windows to clean Oracle off of my machine?

I am not sure but try this.I done it in 10g
1.Shutdown the database
2.Delete the database
3.Delete all the folders one by one available in oracle_home
4.Manually delete the services
5.Go to registry editor(type REGEDIT in cmd) and find the oracle related files and delete all that.
6.I am sure one or two folders 'll not be deleted by doing this.But try again to delete that after re-booting the system.
Try it and let me know.

I have Oracle Database 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.1) on my Windows XP System, and I patch it to 10.1.0.3.
