How to delete a calendar from iPhone?

I sync my iPhone with Outlook 2003 vis USB cable and iTunes. Recently I imported a second temporary calendar into Outlook via a .pst file. This created a second calendar folder in Outlook which then synced with my phone. I deleted the second tempory calendar folder from Outlook, but this action did not delete it from my iPhone. How can I remove the second calendar from my iPhone?

This did not work exactly as described on my system. I tried disabling calendar sync by unchecking the box under calendars on the itunes info tab page. When i synced i did not get the message described by tokatta. Both calendars still show in itunes in the box labed selected calendars. Nothing disappeared from my iphone or outlook.
I then repeated the procedure but first clicked on reset sync history in itunes. Then I unchecked the sync calendars box. This did remove the listing of the two calendars in itunes. i then synced but still no message or any affect on either itunes or outlook. i then rechecked the sync calendars box, reset sync history and under advanced marked for the computer to overwrite the iphone. same result. 2nd calendar was not removed and both now are showing in itunes again.
is it possible i have a second calendar lurking somewhere in Outlook and i cannot see it in the outlook navigation pane?
gremlins!
it is also interesting that if i check selected calendars in itunes and try to select only one of the two in the list, itunes will sync both anyway ... on clicking apply, itunes either reverts to syncing all calendars or stays on selected calendars but re-checks both boxes automatically. i cannot sync just one.
is this a clue re what's happening?

How to delete multiple songs from iPhone 5S without losing form iTunes? The unchek function has not worked. Why?

Sorry I had to reply through your profile Gail from Maine, my PC has java issues. In any event, when I delete them directly from my device everything is perfect and cool. However, in the rare instance I want to add new music that I actually buy in stores (I know, quite the unique and old-fashioned idea...but hey Im an audiophile) once I upload the tunes, everytime I sync my library it re-adds everything that I spent hours deleting. In a perfect world, I thought I could maintain a massive iTunes Library, and add or delete (remove) songs from my iPhone to save both memory or keep my iPhone selections more current/apt to my musical "tastes" at that time. I know about the whole playlist thing, but thought there might be an easier way. ie - checking/un-checking the little box next to the song name, and then doing a sync. Again, everytime I do this however, whether everything is checked or un-checked it adds the entire library! So frustrating. Any suggestions. Thank you graiously in advance for your help.

They're DEFINITELY pushing Apple users that way. I just saw yet ANOTHER new/incredible feature the Galaxay can do that Apple (I mean Tim Cook) can't even DREAM about doing.
At this point, it's becoming an embarrassement to even own an iPhone. *sigh*

  • How to delete a Calendar in iPhone?

I subscribe to a Swedish Holiday Calendar for iCal. When I noted that they had put the Easter in 2010 one week too late I managed to refresh it in my Mac but I can not make it change in iPhone. As there is no way to delete a Calendar i iPhone I deleted it in iCal and made a sync but it will not go away.
    How to do?

Here's what you need to do:
    1. Launch isync from your applications folder, itunes NOT running, under preferences, select reset sync history. Give it a minute to run, then reboot your computer.
    2. Launch itunes, on the info tab, put a check in the box for the calendar/calendars you want, scroll down to "advanced", under replace info on this phone with info on this computer, select calendars, hit apply.
    3. That should be the end of the calendars you don't want that were on your phone.

I am so thrilled to report that, YES, in fact you can delete all photos with one easy swipe~!!!! I just discovered how by accident when I went to delete my audiobooks for more storage!! You go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > USAGE > PHOTOS & CAMERA > and then just decide what you’d like to remove~~ either (or all) “Camera Roll” “Photo Library” or “Photo Stream” & Swipe to Delete! Happy deleting everyone!!

how to delete photostream photos from iphone4?

Just look at the many other threads on this subject.  See the 'More Like This' box on the right hand side?
Basically, you can only delete all or none.  To delete all, reset your Photostream on iCloud.com and switch off PS on your device.
You can temporarily remove the photos by switching off PS on your device, but when you switch it back on, the photos will return unless you reset as previously mentioned.

  • How to delete the files from iPhone before selling?

How do I delete the files from my old iPhone4 before selling?

    Hey adhot,
Before selling your iPhone, you'll want to follow these directions:
Before you sell or give away your iOS device, make sure that you have removed all of your personal information. Follow these steps to protect your data and get your device to its factory default state for the new owner:
    Back up your device.
Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap Erase All Content and Settings.
This will completely erase your device and turn off iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, Game Center, and other services.
If you are using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, your Apple ID and password will be required. After you provide your password, the device will be erased and removed from your account so that the next owner can activate it.
Contact your carrier for guidance on transferring service to the new owner.
When the device is turned on for the first time by the new owner, Setup Assistant will guide them through the setup process.
Important: Do not manually delete contacts, calendars, reminders, documents, photo streams, or any other iCloud data while signed in to your iCloud account, or the content will also be deleted from the iCloud servers and all of your iCloud devices.

  • How to delete all calendars from icloud?

So I decided it was finally time to try out iCloud, and immediately regretted this decision when my iCal, Safari bookmarks and Address Book all got messed up in different ways. I've managed to fix all these issues (by signing out of iCloud on all my devices and restoring my bookmarks and address book from backups) and I've deleted all old backups from iCloud so it's now showing 5GB of 5GB as free. And yet, when I went to icloud.com I could still see the calendars and contacts that were there before. I've deleted all the contacts, and all the calendars but one, but when I got to the last calendar and tried to delete it I got the following message : "you need to have at least one calendar that you own. To delete this calendar, create a new one."
The best part is, even if I create a new calendar there I still get that message when I try to delete the other one. Is it too much to want to simply delete everything off my iCloud? This entire process has been beyond frustrating. Any help would be much appreciated.

Look like you have duplicate calendars. Find the name of the calendar on your iPhone and the color of the event labels. Then look at your computer. Find the one with the different label/name/color. You can delete that calendar.

  • How to delete purchased tunes from iPhone?

I am undable to delete purchased tunes from my iPhone (4s, ios7.0.2)  I can delete all other tunes through syncing on iTunes. However, purchased tunes remain on my iPhone.  To the right of the title of the tune there is an image of a cloud with a arrow pointing downward.  This indicates that the tune is to be downloaded.  This is strange, as these tunes are already in iTunes.  I tried touching the cloud to download the tunes onto my iPhone.  Once all were downloaded, I went to settings, general, usage and to the music app. The I went to edit and delete.  This did no good. The tunes are still there.  I have tried this several times.  On my last attempt, I download the tunes again (on my iPhone), the synced with iTunes.  The tunes on my iPhone were temporarly gone, but soon came back.  I do not want any of these tunes on my iPhone at this time. I don't know how to get rid of them.

    Hi clydedrnd,
When you see the song with the cloud icon, that means that the song is not on the phone, but can be downloaded from iCloud. If you would like to permantly delete the song from iCloud, you may find the following article helpful:

  • How to delete photos/pics from iPhone 3G???

Please help. I am at a loss. How do you delete photos/pics (that you uploaded) from iPhone 3G??? I see no delete button, no trash button or anything that would instruct me to remove the photo?
    Thanks.

You can delete photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll only and only one at a time.
Photos available in your iPhone's Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Since you have a Mac, you can use iPhoto for this or the Image Capture application. After the import is complete, both applications include an option to erase all photos from your iPhone's Camera Roll, or you can delete select photos.
Photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process cannot be deleted on or from your iPhone. You can remove any or all photos transferred from your computer to your iPhone in the same way they were transferred to your iPhone - via the iTunes sync process.

  • How to delete double photos from iPhone 5

why i phone 5 double the photos in the photo app
why is no trash button or bin
    how i delete the doubles
    thanks

Photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process cannot be deleted direct on the iPhone. These photos are removed the same way they were transferred to the iPhone originally - via the iTunes sync process.
All photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library. Photos in the albums transferred below are not duplicated as in taking up double the storage space. Photos in the albums below Photo Library include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. This was you can view the photos in an album only by selecting the album or all photos in all albums by selecting Photo Library.
