How to delete a course in public site?

How can I delete a course that's been published via my public site manager?
Following the directions in the online manual I:
1. CLick on "Courses" in the public site manager.
2. Click on the course I want to delete.
and at this point the "Delete" button should highlight to allow me to press it. However, it does not.
I really need to get this course off of our iTunes U site as it's just a test course.
Any help would be appreciated.
David

Greetings David;
     To Delete a previously published course using Public Site Manager, highlight the Course to be deleted, then navigate to the top of the Collections page and select "Delete" from the options listed (Refresh-Delete-Hide-Unhide-Revert). All the best to you...

    http://000webhost.com offers free web hosting, but, if no website is uploaded or it did not received more than 10 visitors in 30 days they will delete your account.

  • How to delete archive log on standby site

    hi
    i configured dataguard on 10g. could anyone suggest how to delete archived log on standby site..

    Hi,
    There is no automatic feature out-of-the-box but you have the following views:
    1) Shows archive logs transfered:
    select sequence#, first_time, next_time from v$archived_log order by sequence#;
    2) Shows archive logs applied:
    select sequence#, archived, applied from v$archived_log order by sequence#;
    If you see your archivelogs applied you can safely remove archive log files from your disk. It is your decision if you keep or delete them completely.

  • Access Public Site

    We now have access to the admin site, but was unsure how to get access to the public site. We looked at a couple other university sites, but could not figure it out. What I am looking for is access to the site that the general public can see like the one that Stanford has.

    Your Unique identifier is probably Course; you can
    change this now with the latest functionality
    release. Let me know if you have other questions.
    Essentially, it's just about what you are passing to
    ITunesU that determines the view you get.
    Are you able to able to use the unique identifier that you assigned in iTunes U for courses? Based on what I've seen the only course that works with is the original "sample course" and then only if you use the text "unique_identifier".
    We've got a debug thread on this issue running here:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=591314&tstart=0
    Based on my experiments yesterday, it seems that for every other course, the Instructor and Learner roles just inherit the public, read-only rules (which effectively does what's needed here, but I just wanted to clarify what was working).

    If the thief enabled activation lock on the device, then there is nothing that can be done.  Only the password for the Apple ID that it is locked with can disable activation lock.

  • How to delete the existing list and prevent auto-completed web sites?

    Hi, As soon as I start to type "www" in the address bar, a list of previously visited web sites appears, as if auto-completed. They seem rather random, and not necessarily the most recent ones. I have tried resetting Safari, deleting the cache, looking these sites up in the various plist folders in the Library, using Safari in Private mode, etc. but it still happens. I find it a nuisance.
    How do I delete the existing sites, and how do I prevent more from appearing in the future?
    Thanks,
    Richard

    HI,
    Go to Safari/Preferences - AutoFill
    Click where it says: Edit
    You can Remove All or edit which url's you don't want.

  • XML file for deleting a course site

    I tried to use the following XML file to delete a course site. But, it does not work. Could someone point me the right direction? Thanks! JW
    1410761825 is the handle of the course I would like to delete.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <ITunesUDocument>
    <DeleteCourse>
    <Handle>1410761825</Handle>
    </DeleteCourse>
    </ITunesUDocument>

    I would suggest checking out and using the XSD when setting up your web services.
    This should prevent you from getting some frustration with incorrect tag names.

  • How can I change the url of my public site?

    By default, SharePoint Online created an online private site called mycompany.sharepoint.com  and a public site called mycompany-public.sharepoint.com   What I want is the publicly-facing site to be the shorter one and not use the -public url.
     How can I change that?

  • Drop Box folder in: user/public/Drop Box, how to delete it completely?

    It might be kind of freaky, but the Drop Box folder in: user/public/Drop Box, how to delete it completely?, every time that i delete that folder and restart the system, it always appears, i just can't delete it!, why?. Absolutely, that i have already uninstalled the app with "appdelete".

    The Drop Box folder in ~/Public is not part of the Dropbox application. It is in fact part of Mac OS X so you shouldn't need to delete it.

  • How to get iTunes U Public Site daily log reports

    Hallo,
    we are running iTunes U Public Site only.
    Does anybody know how to get daily report logs?
    Reagrds,
      Diego

    Find the  solution by myself.
      There are two iTunes U sites with different credentials: one is the original  iTunes U Public  before first activation and another created automatically by the activation process. The last is the actual iTunes U Public site
    managed by iTunes U Public Site Manger. The difference is the domain name of the site: if I  sign in using my domain name with "-dz" added at the the end, I can access the actual credentials (Site URL, Debug Suffix, Shared Secret, Administrator Credentials) that differs completely by the ones of the original iTunes site.
    No where I found information about that, neither I've received any notification mail about the domain name change after the site activation process.
      Hope that can help.
