When I'm entering data into a field (eg a userid) Firefox suggests (from previous entries I've made ) what I might wish to select and save typing. How o i delete one of those suggestions so that it is not made again?

At the transaction code fkkinv_ma, I fill in the fields "Date ID" and "Identification" but I have a problem with the field of "Invoicing Process". When I psh theF4 button, there comes no search help. You have to set up a number range, decide what type of Financial transactions should not be invoiced -- like Dunning Charges
then you have to have a developer create the form and form class of invoice.

How to show a single error message for all fields

I have a JSF from containing around 10 controls(input, select etc.) .
Now I need to display an error message in case any of the mandatory control has validation error.
Message format would be like
"*Please,Complete the fields marked with yellow!"* The message I need to show in a div tag with Yelow background.
Currently, I am getting individual default error message in case validation fails and related field is bordered with Yellow.
My code is below.

Thanks for your response.
The FM returns the error messages if they are standard ones. For example, if the posting period is closed - the FM will not allow the Workflow to proceed further.
But in this case, I have a custom error - for a particular Profit center, Cost center and I/O fields are mandatory(not at time of parking, but should be filled before posting).
Since this is not a standard error, this FM will not stop workflow from proceeding further. How can I have the custom error captured in this FM?

How to delete gmail messages in Mail for Mac

I am using Mail 7.3 on my Macbook Pro with Mavericks 10.9.5.
I use Gmail for my email.
When I DELETE a message in Gmail it goes into the Gmail Archive (and stays in the All Mail folder)- it does NOT get Deleted.
Gmail help says I need to drag each message to the Trash when using Mail as Delete will not work.
Really?
This is a drag to do, besides there is no Trash folder.
I have a 'Bin' folder and a 'Deleted Messages' folder so I'm trying to use them.
Still for Mail and Gmail not to be compatible for Delete seems crazy.
I have tried changing the Mailbox Behaviours in Preferences but it seems to make no difference.

I Wonder if your sitting there laughing at us as if there is some big conspiracy about selecti all and deleting all from our iPhones and iPads.

Why can we not just not select all in the mail inbox and then delete all, if we do not want to delete every single one of them then deselect the few that we do not want to delete instead of having to select the thousands we do want delete individually.
And if you do make a mistake and delete the wrong emails by selecting all, then go to your trash and reinstate the ones you did not want to delete
I think 99% of us know how to DELETE emails individually, as you put it.
That's just sarcasm and if not then then your not fully understanding the question asked.
I would also say that probably 99% of us want to be able to select all and delete all if that's what we desire.

How to delete pix/albums in iPhoto for iOS.?

I created two Journals in iPhoto for iOS.
When uploading to the iCloud I constantly run into "Storage almost full" problems. I have already deleted many apps to create space, but iPhoto seems to consistently grow in size (iPad > Settings>General> Usage: 6.8GB for iPhoto), worse yet, when publishing the Journals which are on the iPad it seems that additional space is needed for the publishing process.
I did NOT find a way to delete either Pictures or Albums in the iPhoto for iOS app, nor do I find a way to delete Photos and Camera in Settings, nor (individual or a range of) Photos or Albums in the Photos app. In the Photos tab of the Photos app there is a red Delete button, but this is greyed out; in the Albums tab this Delete button does not appear at all.

Basically, you have to delete the photos the same way you got them onto the iPad in the first place.
In the Photos.app, you should be able to delete photos in the camera roll and in the events that have been uploaded using the camera connection kit, but no other.
Any synced photo can only be deleted by syncing again.
For Photos that have been edited, you need to undo all edits, before you can delete them, otherwise the delete button will not be active.
Albums created by tagging cannot be deleted, they are created automatic. You delete these albums by removing the tags from the photos. Then the album will vanish.

How do I clear out multiple entries for a persons name in the Faces selection?

Can I get some help clearing up multiple entries in the "Click to Name" dialog box in iPhone 9.6?
Here's the behavior I'm seeing:
When I try to assign a name to a Face by clicking the "Click to Name" option, I start typing in my son's name and iPhone is showing me 15 entries for his name.
Of the 15 options, only 1 of them shows a mini-thumbnail photo of him, and a different one suggests that it's from the Contacts app, but the rest of them are blank.
This behavior is not happening for any of the other Faces in the library.
In terms of troubleshooting, I've opened Apple Contacts and ensured there is only 1 contact record for him (there are 2 email address listed). I've selected Library > Faces > And I see one polaroid image in the list for my son. In the past if there were multiple listings here I've seen similar results. I'm not sure what else to try.
What causes these to be duplicated?

I spoke with Apple Support today and they provided a workaround:
I had 7 entries for a person.
Find untagged photo with person in it. Select Entry 1
Find untagged photo with person in it. Select Entry 2
Repeat until you have at least 1 photo tagged with each of the 7 entries
Now go back to Faces and you'll see 7 polaroids listed.
Select each of them and merge them.
Problem solved.

How to delete download errors in itunes for music?!

I have just installed the music i have on my new ipad2 and there are several songs that have not been downloaded because they are from different itunes accounts. I dont know the passwords to them so they are sitting under downloads wih the error massage- tap to download.
How do i delete them?! I dont want the songs so happy to get rid of them but just cant find how to delete them! It promots me to enter the password to the itunes accounts. Ive tried swippin the arrow but dont think that feature is on anymore.

you aren't missing this. Show duplicates is NOT a tool to allow to simply select all and hit deleted. It is showing you the duplicates, one beside the other, to allow you to discriminate two songs having the same name but that may not be duplicate. For exemple, they may be two different version of a same song and that you want to keep them. For this reason, automated process are somehow risky to loose also song that you want to keep.
however, if you still want to proceed with an automated script, you can find some at http://dougscripts.com/itunes/.
Personnally, I would still discriminate duplicated songs manually by reviewing the list of "show duplicate" to avoid deletion of song I wish to keep. I also have a quite large library and found many songs having the same name and not being duplicates.

How do you get Firefox to ask for proxy username password in a pop up window?

Previously, about a month ago a pop up message would appear when I would connect to my University's wired network proxy to ask me for my password. In Chormium Browser the following message pops up when I log in http://tinypic.com/r/i77lhi/8. A similar thing used to happen in Firefox, but doesn't anymore. I know it is not my proxy settings that are incorrect as I have double checked them and it is only in Firefox that it fails. I have Firefox set to use system proxy settings and this is the setting that is dictated by the University. It is very possible that I changed a setting while tinkering that prevents such message boxes from appearing or uses an old username and password automatically, but I haven't been able to find anything like this.
Help would be greatly appreciated! I am completely stuck on this.

Customized entries for ACTVT field

Dear Gurus,
I have created customized Authorization object with the help of post on forum but I am unable to figure out to create customized entries for ACTVT.
Eg: Instead of activity 01, 02, 03 ....ect I want to create Z1, Z2 & Z3.
How can I create this entries ? what are the steps involved and how to I assign it to my customized Auth object ?

The original requirement from functional consultant is to create a customised Authorization with 2 fields 1. Company code 2. Activity.
And the second requirement is to add activity entries Z1 - Extract invoice & Z2 - Approve invoice.
Since you mentioned you are creating a custom authorization object, I believe the auth check would be made by a customized program or a BADI too.
If my assumption is correct, you don't need to create custom field values for SAP standard field ACTVT, rather you can have the custom program logic designed in such a way that it triggers desired action while checking the already existing SAP delivered field values for ACTVT.
For instance:
Logic is designed so that a value ACTVT= 01 would trigger action Extract Invoice and ACTVT= 02 would trigger action Approve Invoice
To summarize, you can use any standard field values for ACTVT and have desired action defined for that value in your program logic. I have come across such scenerios in the past and quite sure this concept works!
Try it out:)
P.S: While creating the custom object, it would be a good idea to document the relevant action that your custom program will trigger for each of the standard values for field ACTVT ( which you are going to use) in the object documentation section of tcode SU21 for future reference.

How can I create a search plugin for multiple fields

There are a number of sites that have search capabilities but they require entries into multiple fields.
One such site is for instance the IBM Employee directory.
(http://www.ibm.com/contact/employees/servlets/lookup)
On this site - in order to get usable results - I have to enter both First name and Last name of the employee I'm looking for.
I created a search plugin for the site, however I wasn't able to split the entered text into two parts and provide them as separate fields for the form.
Is there a way to do this?
