How to delete a forgotten password

I had a password on the Bios before i went in my holiday.
When i came back i had forgott my password.
What can i do?
I love my computer and i wish you can help?
thanks

If you have forgotten the BIOS password then its not possible to remove it on an easy way.
This can be done only by an ASP and its a tricky procedure
So you have no other choice as to ask the ASP in your country for a help!!!
Good luck

    How to delete saved login/password on your device without having to delete ALL of them and start over!
    I hated this, becuase if i accidentally saved an incorrect login/password, and deleted it, it deleted ALL of my login/passwords for all websites.  NOT ANY MORE!!!!
    you can delete one at a time and chose which to do so by opening your microb web browser (standard internet browser on the n900)
    then type in this address:
    chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xul
    then you will be able to scroll and delete INDIVIDUALLY the ones you dont want on your device, leaving all the good ones!
    enjoy.

    you cannot create a shortcut/bookmark directly with this. but you can go around it and create one anyway.
    to do this,
    open a browser to google or what you want.
    tap the + to create a new bookmark
    change the name to (ie-password files)
    change the link to: chrome://passwordmgr/content/passwordManager.xul
    and now you have a shortcut/bookmark so you dont have to remember the link.

    If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

  • How to find my forgotten password

    I'm trying to reestablish my synching with my iPad, but I've forgotten the password and it won't let me reregister. However, the password-reset link takes so long to arrive, that it has always expired by the time I receive it. I have tried lots of times over the past week without success.

    The new Sync wants me to log in with my Firefox password which I don't know. There is a button for getting a new one, but each time a click it, the link arrives after it has expired.

  • How to delete a BIOS password (Satellite A30) - please help

    Hello. In the company I work there was a Toshiba Satellite A30 that had a BIOS password set.
    I was asked to remove the password and, inside the BIOS, I was able to clear the password (at least that is what I thought at first):
    BIOS asked for the current password and I typed it, then asked for a new password and I just pressed the ENTER key, and when I was asked to retype the new password I pressed the ENTER key again.
    After that, I saw that BIOS showed "PASSWORD (clear)" and I saved the changes and exit.
    To my surprise, I was asked for a password again, I just pressed the ENTER key and it showed an "INCORRECT PASSWORD" message, and the same message when I type the old password!!!
    I don't know if there was a Toshiba password when the computer was bought, but the manual that I downloaded from here does not mention that.
    Is there a way to fix this? I can't understand what may have happened!
    VERY MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE and thanks again for reading.

    Hello
    If the right password is not known to you there is no way to remove them. It can be removed only by Authorized service partner. Please contact them and they will do it for you. I assume that this can not be expensive.

    That is correct. Without the previous owner's information or them removing the device from their account, you will never be able to use that device. There is no way around Activation Lock. I suggest you take it back to the pawn shop for a refund, because the device is useless to you.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Try it and good luck. You have nothing more to lose if it doesn't work for you.
     Cheers, Tom
