I have a 3g iPhone and I need to know how to delete old photos. Need to free up space and there is no clear way to delete these photos!! Can someone please let me know how to get rid of these pictures!!!! Help!!!
There are a number of ways to delete pictures from the Camera Roll. One is to open Camera Roll in the thumbnail view, tap the arrow button (top right), tap all the pictures you want to delete, tap the Delete button ant the bottom. Photo Library pictures are deleted by unchecking Sync Photos on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, followed by syncing your phone.

How to delete the photos in network folder while deleting photos in iPhoto?
Hi,
How to delete the photos in network folder while deleting photos in iPhoto?
I have emptied the iPhoto Trash but the photos in network folder are still not deleted.
In iPhoto Preferences, Advance, Importing, I have UNCHECKED "Copy Items to iPhoto Library."

Please help. Thanks.iPhoto is a relational database management program and manages only items that it controls - items within its library - it does not and will not do anything with any photo that is not in the library except to delete photos from cameras after import - and this is not recommended
You are running a referenced library and it is not recommended - it makes deleting photos more difficult as you are seeing, it makes importing photos more difficult and it makes replacing or upgrading hardware much more difficult

how to delete multiple photos at once
Hello 2075,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To delete multiple photos at once on your iPad, all you need to do is tap on Select while in the Photos app, select the photos you'd like to delete, and then tap on the trash can.

How to delete multiple photos from updated iPhoto
How to delete multiple photos from the updated iPhoto
1 - there is no updated iPhoto - iPhoto is still on your computer and version 9.6.1 is probably the last version - there are no updates planned to iPhoto
2 - Photos is a new photo management program built into OS X 10.10.3
3 - Assuming you are talking about Photos select the photos and press delete - they then go to the recently deleted photos album (show recently deleted under th file menu) where they sit for 30 days and then are automatically deleted unless you manually delete them first

How to delete photostream photos from iphone?
how to delete photostream photos from iphone4?
Just look at the many other threads on this subject. See the 'More Like This' box on the right hand side?
Basically, you can only delete all or none. To delete all, reset your Photostream on iCloud.com and switch off PS on your device.
You can temporarily remove the photos by switching off PS on your device, but when you switch it back on, the photos will return unless you reset as previously mentioned. -
How to delete a photo from My Panoramas album
I just upgraded my iPad2 to iOS7. Seems like in the process the iOS7 created a new album for me: My Panoramas. Cute, but I don't want that album. If I have to have it, I would like to delete some of the photos in it that are not panoramas. When I select a photo in that album, a garbage can shows up but is grayed out. It's not obvious for me how to delete that photo. Please help.
BTW: That album (My Panoramas) does not show up in my iPhoto on my Mac, so I can't edit it there.I'm with you on this. Rather like Windows 7, I am able to ignore the Panoramas Album but iPhoto puts my photos in that album for reasons unknown to me. And, as you say, the offending album doesn't appear on my MacBook Pro so I can't edit there.
Anyone know by what criteria iPhoto puts photos into the Panoramas album?
thanks. -
How to delete a photo from Device-Work/photos
How to delete a photo from Device-Work/photosI saved a photo from my work email account (it's a picture of a golf green) and afterward, I noticed that I can't really do anything with it.
How do you delete files from the "work" side of the phone?
Also curious why these files are even there if you can't do anything with them...what's the point?i didnt even know there was a work side to the phone.
its my personel phone but i use it for work as well but dont have a work email set up as its the national health nhs.net and there is so much protection that i couldnt be bothered with it.
only way i think you could get round this problem is sending the email with the attachment to one of your personel emails like yahoo which if you have that set up on your phone and save the attached picture it will automatically be saved in your pictures folder. -

HT5043 How to delete duplicate photos
how to delete duplicate photos in iphoto
iPhoto has no built-in duplicate detector. You can spot duplicates by sorting your photos by title or date, or use third-party applications like iPhoto Library Manager, Duplicate Annihilator, Photo Sweeper.
Old Toad has published a great list of apps that can screen your iPhoto Library for duplicates, see this link:
Re: How can I search for duplicate photos in iPhoto libraries?
My favourite is Photo Sweeper, because it lets me stay in control of what will be deleted, shows all metadata, lets me define the criteria for marking duplicates, and can recognise duplicates of different sizes, based on histograms or pixel maps. PhotoSweeper -

How to delete a photo or a full album on my iPad ?
How to delete a photos or a full album on my I pad ?
If the photos are on the iPad from a sync with iTunes - from a folder on your computer - you have to sync again to remove them.
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Select your iPad on the left side under "devices". Click on the Photos tab in iTunes. Deselect all of the albums that you want to remove and click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
If the photos are in the Camera Roll or Saved Album on your iPad - you can select the photo and then tap the Trash Can icon at the top right corner of the Photos app. In thumbnail view - you can tap the arrow icon in the upper right corner - tap on each photo that you want to remove and then tap Delete in the upper left corner.
