How to delete a streamed radio station

I created a smart playlist for streamed radio stations (using the rule "Kind contains stream").
I don't want to delete the entire smart playlist but there are some individual stations that I now wish to delete. I'm not sure how to do this and any help would be appreciated.

I think I figured it out. I had to go to my main iTunes library to delete the stations I know longer wanted (at first I tried to delete from the smart playlist folder but it wouldn't allow me to delete). Consider my question answered.

  • How do I record streaming radio stations?

I am attempting to record a live streaming radio station, www.iRadiola.com, 90.3FM. Can someone tell me if that is even possible? My band is going to be played in an hour and I want to get the broadcast recorded. www.thedivys.com

Audio High Jack Pro is the Best way to go. Do a search in Google for it. The Demo is free but the full package is about $30. It will record any audio played thru your Mac. Really neat program...all you do is point it at what program your using i.e. Real Audio, Quick Time. Then just hit the record button. It has a built in itunes tab so it will import straight into it. I use this for my podcast to add streaming audio such as Press Conferences and Game Highlights. Works great.
    Good Luck

  • How do I find actual radio stations on my iMac?

I used to be able to listen to NPR shows on my iMac, but the IOS 7 took it away. How can I do it?  Now you only have the Pandora style radio, with all music.  I want my Car Talk and What Do You Know back!!

    iOS 7 doesn't run on a Mac.
If you're looking for the streaming radio stations that appeared in every iTunes version for about the last decade, it has been renamed "Internet" in the latest iTunes release to avoid confusion with the new Pandora-themed "iTunes Radio".
Internet Radio is hidden by default until you enable it by opening iTunes Preferences and selecting "Internet Radio" from the General pane. Do that, select Music from the Sidebar on the left, and you will see Internet appear on the top row. Your familiar radio stream presentation will appear.

  • Streaming radio station times out

After I'm listening to an iTunes streaming radio station for about an hour or so, the station times out and I have to click Play again. Is there a way to not have it time out - it's annoying...
    Thanks,

Good find. It's working for me. Much better than running Safari in Rosetta, which I had been doing.

  • How can you modify / customize radio stations like you can with Pandora?

Hi all, I'd like to customize radio stations to add artists, but the only option I'm seeing is to follow artists. Can you customize radio stations in Spotify like you can with Pandora? I didn't find anything on the boards for this. And also, how do you delete radio stations? I'm not finding Spotify to be very intuitive. Thanks in advance!

Totally agree...I am on the 30 day premuim trial and will cancel.  Why would I pay $10 a month for a piece a softwate that won't let me make basic modifications...like deleting a created radio station that I sdon't like or don't want attatched to my profile anymore. Rookie bull**bleep**.  You gotta do better to cmpete. You can always just not listen to that channel;  I keep adding new ones all the time. I admit it would me nice to be able to delete radio stations, but there are many other issues that need tackling first.  IMHO.  You're not paying for the software.  The radio feature is secondary to the extensive library.

  • Chgd computers, now can't find the long, long list of streaming radio stations! I had no app before but now says "there is no app to open"

On my old computer (last week) I'd been pulling up a long list of free streaming radio stations.  Now can't find it anywhere from ITunes. When I click on "Radio" it says "There is no app chosen for this".  I didn't need an app before, but evidently I need one now.  There are several apps. Can anyone tell me which I should choose - Pandora, IHeartRadio, TuneIn or what?
I much appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance!

This indicates you had a bad install. You need to completely remove Office and reinstall using your new CD Key. See instructions here. Do not do the simple remove, Use the COMPLETELY REMOVE ALL FILES steps.

so I purchased a new Mincrosoft Office 2011 Student/Home Pin to install Microsoft Office.
You don't purchase a PIN. A PIN is generated when you install Office. You need a CD Key. If you bought Office365, you activate online.
I have issues with the Microsoft User Data - are there supposed to be two? and where exactly do they belon. They are in the Documents file at the moment.
Unless you used Outlook or Entourage you can delete both Microsoft User Data folders. When you install Office it will create a new one. Only Outlook & Entourage used this folder for data. W,E,P stores it's data in the User's Library/Application Support/Microsoft folder now.

  • How do I connect to radio stations for free automatic afternoon or evening of my favorite music? Do I  forget about it on laptop, and plan to only enjoy radio music off my iMac desktop??

Radio streaming is my preferred music system on desktop Mac OSX, but new birthday MacBook Pro does not understand this. So, I send this message from laptop, while listening to desktop. Please tell me how to get radio station lists on this laptop. I do not download, or purchase music -- only listen to it while doing other things (housework, art, journaling, and currently -- caregiving to 70-lb Toller/Retriever who busted his left rear knee.....).

  • How to become an iTunes Radio Station

iTunes has a default list of radio stations. Does anyone know how you would go about getting added to that list? I work for a college radio station and we're looking to expand our streaming options.
    Thanks!

What is the site/radio station? There are many internet radio stations iTunes cannot play because they use a stream format that is not compatible.

  • How do you bookmark internet radio station?

I have been listening to Internet Radio stations on Itunes Windows 12.0.1.26
Seems like there has to be a means of "bookmarking" an Internet Radio Station stream.
I am referring to how to bookmark one of the hundreds of stations

This is not really an iTunes U question per se ... so you might have better luck in a different forum.
However, I "think" this is the correct answer.
To have your stream listed, by default, in the "Radio" playlist, I believe you would have to contact Apple directly. But you can create a "playlist" file and refer to your stream within it. Playlist files are double-clickable and are imported directly into iTunes. I have tested this theory with Shoutcast playlists and it works like a charm. Here's Apple's blurb (out of date for developers, but not necessarily for you) on the subject:
    http://developer.apple.com/documentation/QuickTime/QT6WhatsNew/Chap1/chapter1_section58.html
So the basic idea would be to create a playlist file, attach it to a link on your website, and then just refer users to the link. Once they click the link, iTunes would do the rest.

  • Streaming Radio Stations AWOL

Okay so I upgraded to the most recent iTunes version because the new "eepo" < that's "iPod" en Español, demanded it.
NOW when I try to listen to streaming radio content I find that MANY of the stations pretend to load but nothing comes out of my headphones but silence.
    ¿WHAT's UP w/ that?
¿Have those stations simply discontinued streaming their broadcasts?
¿How/where can I acquire (download) an updated and more accurate list of stations that do stream actual content and not just dead air?
    I love internet radio!
    ¿Any advice amigos?

Did that yesterday, repair disk permissions. I was able to stream TV news again and the like but still no Virgin Radio Groove, which I listen to everyday! When I opened my iTunes again today, still no Virgin Radio Groove although it's listed as an online radio station. Tried to go to its main web site as well, and I still couldn't access it. Something wrong with not only iTunes but w/ the Quicktime I think. All I get is a big blue Q with a question mark!
    What's happening? Help!
P.S. Is it possible to uninstall the new iTunes and Quicktime versions just so I can get back to my old routine?
