How to delete a workbook in Bex created by other user

Hi,
I had a query in BW,My requirment is to delete the query.....when i tried to delete the query the system is not allowing me to delete as some one created a workbook on that query
When i tried to access the workbook in query designer find option i can't able to locate the work book...
Please advise on how to delete the workbook and then the query
i got sap all authorisations

RSZDELETE tcode is used to delete the query as well as work book also.
when you are deleting the query it will ask for work book also.

Does anyone know how to delete a workbook from Discoverer 10g? I created a report in Discoverer Plus as SYSADMIN and gave this to my user. My user only has access to Discoverer Viewer. He went and did a "Save As" on this report. Now when he loggs in to Viewer again, he sees two report. One created by SYSADMIN and the on he created. I want to delete the one he created. How do I go about doing this? Can I do it from Discoverer? If so, which one(Viewer or Plus)? Will I have to login as him to do this? Please advise.

To delete/ manage workbooks you need to login to either Plus or Desktop versions.
And yes you need to log in using the owner user name

I having an Issue at my work place.I have got a Requirement from the Finance Functional Folks that the user should be able to create the dispute case and also void the case created by him.But the user should not be able to void the dispute case created by the Other user.
As of now when I am testing the user is able to void the dispute case created by him and also void the dispute case created by other user.So now I am trying to restrict so that user should not be able to void the dispute case created by other user.
In the Roles Built at work place I have fdm_coll01-collections Management and also udm_dispute-dispute manamgement T-codes built in One Role.can any one of you let me know at which authorization object this can be restricted as I am having a hard time trying to find out.
In Ideal SAP World what my idea was a Dispute case created by the user in Production should not be allowed to void the dispute case.so creating a dispute case and voiding a dispute case should be treated differently and should be done by different persons in an organization.

So why not talk back to your FI Folks. Also check with your Compliance Team.
But anyhow, I do not see in the real world a conflict of duties by giving access to both creating a Dispute and voiding a dispute and more over voiding a dispute is considered critical since it would allow to Release Blocked Orders.
But the user should not be able to void the dispute case created by the Other user.
If every transcation and conversation with a Customer is recorded in the Collections Management system, I do not see a requirement for the same Team Member having access to close a dispute created by other user.

How to open a workbook in BEx 700

Hi Friends,
Is there a way to open a workbook in BEx, just knowing its ID and name?
Workbook is not saved in a role, psooibly in favourites of a user. In 3.5 using FM RSAH_LAUNCH_EXCEL
was a way to achieve this.
Any ideas?

Please let ne give a short explanetion of my issue:
i'm BW Admin, we are currently "moving" from 3.5 to 7.0. My problem is, that I'm missing al ot of ueseful tools, provided in 3.5.,
not longer available in 7.0, as you can see form my threads in the past. In all of the long years of working in IT, I never expeienced such a step back and a lack od conbienence intrducing a new release of any software.
However, one of my users is spending his holidays and a collegue just wants to run a workbook obviously saved
in his favourites. And I'm still searching for a possibilty for achieving this in a easy way, without changing settings in
user administration (copying favourites copying ,even etire user....).

How to display all authentication providers when creating a new user?

I have configured active Directory with weblogic 10.3.1. Users and groups display correctly under the users and groups tab. When creating a new user only the defaultauthenticator provider is displayed in the drop-down selection. How do I get my active directory authenticator to display here also for selection?

I'm confident that the Active Directory provider is read-only. You could write your own Authentication Provider for AD that supports create/update/delete functionality, but it is not included in the out of the box AD Authentication Provider to my knowledge.
I know both the Default Authenticator and the database authenticator are read/write.

How to hide folder in PCD with respect to other user

     I want to hide some folder in PCD,suppose any other user enter into portal,he is not able to view the particular folder with out my permission.
    for eg."X" user hide one folder means,"Y" user not possible to view the hided folder.

Hi. I'm running SAP HANA One PL 04. I have a problem when I log on with User1 and try to search for sales orders created by another user. I got an error message. I think the user has enough permissions.. Is there anything else I should consider??

How to delete duplicate reports in Discoverer created by APPS?

I am a functional anyalst and new to Discoverer. I have created several reports in Disco Plus and some how users are seeing duplicate reports, one under my name and two under APPS. I'm not sure how this happened. I suspect it may have happened when copying the EUL's related to the reports. The EUL's are all owned by APPS. I can not delete the reports since I'm not the owner. I've asked our DBA to search for the reports but he was not able to find them. How can we find these reports created by APPS and delete them? Thanks for any help.

Material master once created cannot be deleted.Only thing u can do is to mark it for deletion
Go to Logistics > Materials management > Material master > Material > Flag for deletion > Immediately.
Give the necessary data that is needed for the view you want to delete.
Press and flag the view you want to delete.
Now the view is flagged for deletion. This means that it's use is limited and it will be cleaned up or really deleted at the next clean up of the system.

How to delete all the events and create new events from scratch?

I have all my photos separated into albums and I would like these albums to be considered events in iPhoto. The problem is that there are already lots of events in my iPhoto library that are not "real" events. It just so happens they were uploaded at a certain time and during one of my upgrades of iPhoto all these different uploads became different events. Of course, there are some albums I would like to become a single event as well...but I am not sure how to strip all of my photos of events and then add the photos to new events?

Select all the pics in an Album and Flag them.
Then go Events Menu -> Create Event from Flagged Photos
A new Event is created that moves the pics from their existing Event
Unflag the Photos then move to the next album. Repeat.

1. Go to SE80 and Enter the Package name
2. Dictionary objects --> Search helps ---> select ur Srarch help[double click it] ---> CTRL + F1.
3. Then remove the unwanted fields.
