How to delete all apps of a iTunes account from a iPhone, but keep them on my Mac?
We are a big family and every one has his own iTunes account, but we got only one computer. We purchesed some of the apps twice (with different accounts), and if I sync, iTunes takes the apps from random accounts and loads them onto my iPhone. So sometimes I cant take the Apps I really want because my iPhone is already filled with content from 5 iTunes accounts.
So how can I choose, from wich account I want my content?
thanks, but lets say I want the apps from my mother, my father, my sister, my other sister, my brother and me. my other brother bought the same app as I did and iTunes syncs, I don't know why, the app from my other brother's account. so my iPhone would be packed with 6 accounts, but thats impossible. so how can I tell iTunes "sync these accounts, but not that one!"

I also want to be able to adjust the settings of certain folders in iPhoto to do different things.
I.e. I have a "work" folder in my photos app on my iphone. I want all the photos and videos in this folder to be stored in dropbox and be erased from my iPhone.
I have a "family" folder in my photos app on my iPhone. I want all the photos and videos in this folder to be stored in iCloud and erased from my iPhone.
Finally, why can't I log into iCloud from anywhere and see my photos? For example, when I go to my friend's house, I want to be able to log into iCloud from his computer and show him photos that are no longer saved on my phone, but rather stored in the cloud.
Would I be better off with dropbox, flickr, or Amazon for something like that?

AmyIf you have the photos on your computer a great way to test is to remove your phone from your computer and see if the photos are still on it; if they are still on your computer you are free to do so
Also when you are importing photos from the device to iPhoto you should get the option to delete after importing

Can I delete a Playlist from an iPhone but keep it on the Mac?
I have iTunes match on my Mac and activated on my iPhone. I keep as little music as possible on the iPhone due to space limitations. My thinking was that I would download what I want to listen to on the the way home from work, then delete it to download something else -- basically, only keeping what I'm currently listenting to at the time. I know that if I download an album, I can delete the songs manually from the iphone, or the entire album. The result will be no songs on the phone, all of them in the cloud and all of them still on my Mac.
Playlists, however, seem to act differently. I downloaded a playlist that I no longer want on my phone, but of course want on my Mac. I now have questions:
1. Can I delete the playlist form my phone with one swipe/delete?
2. If I do, will the playlist still appear on my Mac at home? (from what i've read, no)
3. If I delete select songs from the playlist, or all of them manually, I believe the playlist will still exist on my mac, but be empty. True?
In a perfect world, you should be able to swipe a playlist and choose either "delete playlist only from this iOS device" or "delete playlist from all devices". Thanks.I did this recently on an iPod Classic: attach to iTunes, on the device summary tab check manually sync music, then deleted the music and playlists I wanted off the iDevice. They remain on the computer's iTunes but by keeping the device identified as manual sync they do not go back.

I don't see an issue, but if you mean why didn't you get most of your memory back you need to see what else is using storage. Go to Settings/General/Usage. Wait a bit for it to calculate storage allocation, then when it finishes you can see how much storage each app uses.

Apple's official advice on duplicates is here: Find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as lost ratings and playlist membership, or that sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library and that deleting one and recycling the file will break the other.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background, this post for detailed instructions, and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed.)
The most recent version of the script can tidy dead links as long as there is at least one live duplicate to merge stats and playlist membership to and should cope sensibly when the same file has been added via multiple paths.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

You will need to keep them in folder on your hard drive somewhere other than in iTunes or they will be deleted from iTunes if you delete them from the device. I have a folder on my Mac called iPad Pages Documents - very original don't you think!

An account is just a user neame and password with which you purchase content.
You can go to settings and sign out of the account nd inot another. This is covered in the manual. -

The only way you can do that is to import them into your library first, but you may have done that already.
The easiest way to tell is to select a photo from the photostream album in iPhoto and ctrl-click on it, if it gives you the option to import it isn't in your iPhoto library, if it offers you the option to show in library it has already been imorted. -

First you have to create a new folder or 2/3, om My Mac... Mail>Mailbox>New Mailbox...> Loacation>On My Mac.
Highlight the eMails & drag to the new box(es), if IMAP Mail will try downlodaing them again.
If POP & Remove fron Server when downloaded it won't.
Quit Mail after the move, log into gMail Webmail via a browser & delete what you wish.
PS. Even though you delete everything in gMail, google keeps copies for themselves & the NSA, just you cannot see them.
