How to delete all my contacts at once

How to delete all my data from my old 4s

It is easy. You just need to reset your iPhone to factory settings. Go to Settings>General> Reset> Erase All Content and Settings. All data on your iPhone will be erased.
Tips: Be sure you really don't need these data any more. If you are not sure, you can backup your iPhone with iTunes before doing this.
Have a nice day!

  • HT1694 How to delete all junk Mail at once?

I will like to erase all junk mail at once don't want to delete one by one

One-by-one deletion goes pretty fast if you look at, say, your inbox, click "Edit" and then check each box on the screen.
Other than that, you cannot delete all mail at once on your iPad, short of restoring it (which would delete all email on your iPad).

  • How to delete all junk mail at once on my IPhone 4S?

I would like to delete my 1,800 junk emails from my IPhone at once, however, there doesn't seem to be anyway besides one at a time.

It would be great if Apple included a select all option in the mail app but I imagine this would result in lots of people deleting all their email when they thought they were in their spam folder and were actually in their inbox so to protect us from our selves, Apple didn't offer this option.  I would love it myself, but as the other poster says, you need to do it on your computer in your web browser.

  • How to delete all inbox emails at once: iPod Touch 5th Gen ?

IOS 7, iPOD Touch 5th Gen
While I can delete multiple emails at once on my iPad 2 (inbox> Edit> Check  first email> Hold MOVE while unchecking first email> Release Move > (all emails stack up) then, >Trash
this does NOT work on the iPod Touch 5th Gen.
When I do those steps, it "appears" to work but then, the emails go right back to the inbox.
I've also tried the other method that incorporates using "Mark all as read" - as an extra step - (read it on Apple Support Forums) but apparently it works on iPhones, not iPod Touch 5.
    Thanks.

    - If you are up to it see:

Otherwise you will have to set up the iPod as a new one.

  • How to delete all sms message at once?

I've gotten myself into a mess where I have over 900 SMS message (texts from Outlook, Facebook, friends messaging me, etc.) and I want to try to just CLEAR them all out - don't want to save any of them.
Is there an easy way to do this, or do I have to 'touch/delete' each message individually?

You can delete threads by swiping from right to left across the thread on the main Messages screen. However, you can't clear all of the threads at once.

  • How to delete thousands of contacts at once in address book on the computer

I have a separate issue with my contacts duplicating our of control in the cloud. This has resulted in probably 12,000-18,000 contacts instead of 1,200. My iPhone is resorting to hosting no contacts and I can't get to my MobileMe contacts anymore because it generates a Slow Script message. It's becoming a lost cause requiring a nuclear solution. Any help?

Somehow, and I really don't know how, I ended up with two account names for the same MobileMe account , i.e. Fred and Fred (2). MobileMe support was able to help me resolve this, because they had the keys to scrubbing one of the accounts, and erasing everything from my MobileMe account. We didn't solve the problem the first time, but I eventually got a real "Genius" who knew where to point me and what to do. Thankfully.
My 900+ contacts (I guessed 1,200) had become 11,413 (again, when I wrote the message, I guessed). I've since trimmed it to app. 700+ and all my calendar and contact syncing seems to be humming. To say that this is a relief is an understatement. I wasn't feeling like MobileMe for a long while.
Now, I live a life in the cloud and I carry dynamite in my pocket!
Anyhow, thanks for the replies. Thanks to Apple for helping me correct things.
    Peace,
    Graham

  • How to delete all bookmarks and replace with backup?

Trying to sync my new iPad with my MacBook Pro and iPhone via MobileMe has created some fun new problems. For starters: I now have a full set of duplicate Safari bookmarks. Two of everything.
Fortunately, I (think) I made a safe backup before performing the fateful merge (suggested by Sync) that caused the duplicates. So now I'd like to delete ALL my bookmarks and re-import the saved backup bookmarks.
But I can't figure out how to delete all my bookmarks at once. It looks like my only choice is to delete them one at a time. Is there some way to simply trash the entire bookmarks file and re-import the ones I saved?

    HI Adam,
You can use Safari Prairiefire to find duplicate Safari Bookmarks.
    http://www.balooba.se/baloobasoftware/index.html
After you install the software which you can use in demo version to do this click the Get Bookmarks tab. Then from the menu click: Tools / Check Duplicates.
I've had the same thing happen using my MobileMe account also.

  • How to delete ALL 5000 + inbox with ONE step on iphone 6 ?

Any improvement on that specific issue, from previous models?
I really don't have patient or time to delete one by one 5000+ inbox e-mails!
    I highly appreciate any help..
    Thanks!
    RIta

    Try this
    Go to your Inbox folder
Tap on the "Edit"-Button on the top right
Select the first email in your list
    Hold down the "Move" button
While you are still holding the "Move"-Button, deselect the first E-Mail
Put away all your fingers from the screen and wait a few seconds
Now Mail asks you where to move ALL of your emails
Select the Trash Folder as destination
From inside the Trash Folder, you can delete all items at once
I will have to find out where I got this from and edit.  It does work, takes a little dexterity and patience.
    Edit:
quickly looking this is one of the earliest references I have seen (2011)

  • How can delete all contacts

pls help me to find how can delete all contacts ,,  because i forget my restriction password

        baprawski,
Is there a particular reason why you want to delete the contacts all at once? The only way you can delete all the contacts all one time would be to wipe the device. This will complete erase all data on the phone including the contacts.
You want to make sure you backup your device uisng the desktop manager. Once you perform the wipe you can then backup your contacts using the desktop manager and just make sure to uncheck the Contacts when backing up so they are not added back to your phone.

  • How to delete all ALERTS in iCal at once?

Over the years I have added repeating Events with Alerts to iCal on various devices (some of them passed on to my relatives). As a  result I get plenty of Alert emails or sounds. I find it onerous to go through all repeating events to delete the alert. Hence my question: how to delete all Alerts at once?
Thanks for any suggestions/pointers/ideas. Cheers, Veit

    Hi John,
Thanks so much for your help with this problem. I am trying to remove alerts for a couple of specific shared calendars (which I can edit) but am having some difficulty due to my inexperience with applescript! I am also not sure where else to go for help solving this problem.
My plan is to run your script a couple of times specifying one calendar at a time by name.
This is the modification I made to your script:
    tell application "Calendar"
      activate
              delay 0.5
display alert "Removing all alarms from your editable calendars" message "This process may take some time and is permanent. Are you sure you want to do this?" buttons {"Yes", "No"} cancel button 2
              set calname to "Consultant_on_call"
--- repeat with myCalendar in (calendars whose writable is true)
repeat with myCalendar in (calendars whose name is calname)
repeat with myEvent in events of myCalendar
      delete display alarms of myEvent
      delete mail alarms of myEvent
      delete sound alarms of myEvent
delete open file alarms of myEvent
                        end repeat
              end repeat
display alert "Removing all alarms from your editable calendars" message "This process is complete." buttons {"OK"} default button 1
    end tell
Are you able to tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks again.
    Andrew
