How to delete an app stuck in app store

I took iphone 4s from my friend and deleted all his apps but still there is an app called :MOTO 100" that is in the App store and says it needs update but I have already deleted from the system, How can I remove the app as I cannot update it because it belongs to another Apple id and password, been trying very hard to get rid of the app but no sucess, a help is what I need to get the issue resolved, Thanks.

Thank You Amishcake, it's asking for a 4 digit password which I don't remember, Is there any other way?

  • HT201071 how to delete the app store updates?

For example, i don't need digital raw compatibility software nor the updates which take up storage space.
how can i delete this app (RAW), or just delete the updates?

To hide an OS X update, you just have to right-click the update and hide the update. That's all.
I recommend you to install all updates, because all of them are designed to improve performance and compatibility. There are exceptions, like the RAW updates (which add compatibility for new cameras), but respecting to all other updates, you should install all of them.
You cannot hide updates for apps purchased from the Mac App Store

  • My daughter some how deleted the app store icon off my phone and I can't seem to get it bk what do I do please

Hi my daughter managed some how to delete the app store icon from my home screen and I cannot seem to be able to find it can anyone help

The App Store app cannot be deleted (it also can't be downloaded and isn't part of any backup, so ignore the other comment) so either she moved it to another home screen, dropped it into a folder, or turn off "Installing Apps" in the General/Restrictions settings.
If you check Restrictions and Installing Apps is turned on and you can't find the App Store app otherwise, you can go to the General/Reset area and reset the Home Screen Layout. That should get it back.
    Regards.

How to delete the apps in the purchased tab in appstore which i no longer have on my ipad. They still show in the purchased tab.

It's not currently possible to permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't appear in the Purchased tab : hiding and unhiding. If your iPad is on iOS 6 then you will need to do it via your computer's iTunes.

  • Accidentally deleted an App Store app.  how can I get the icon back on my home screen?  when I search for it in the App Store it comes up 'open'. thanks.

accidently deleted an app Store app.  how can I get the icon back on my home screen?  in the app store it comes up 'open' instead of install.

What happens if you tap on open?
Remember, if you ever want to find an app quickly, you can slide all the way to the left (iOS 6 and lower) or pull down (iOS 7 and later) to get to an app.
If you know for certain that you have deleated the app, please try restarting your phone. There are many ways to do this, but the safest way would be to hold down the power button and then slide to power down.
Once powered down, restart and try to find the icon on your screen. If you still can't find it, go into the App Store and then find the app you were trying to access. It should have an iCloud download symbol since you've purchased it before, rather than saying "install."

  • My 2 year old has deleted my 'apps store' icon and I cannot figure out how to get it back? Doesn't seem to be available in the on-line apps store, ironically enough

He dragged the icon out of the dock at the bottom and disappeared. That icon is merely a "shortcut" that opens the application when you click on it.
You still have the app. Open your applications folder and look for the App Store app icon. Click and hold down on the App Store icon and drag the icon down into the dock to replace it. That puts the shortcut back into the dock.

  • My 4th gen iPod touch deleted my App Store how do I get it back?

My son asked be to download a game on the iPod touch and when I went to find the App Store it was gone. I can't find it anywhere and I tried to download a new one from the Internet, but it won't let me. How do I fix this?

You can not delete the App store. It may have gotten moved by accident. Check on other pages or in folders (if you have them). If you cant find it:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout
    Also check your restrictions:
    Settings > General > Restrictions

  • Someone disabled my do not delete apps, and my child accidentally deleted my app store, how do I get it back?

My child deleted my app store, can someone tell me how to get it back, please.

It can't be deleted, it's one of the built-in apps. You've checked all your homescreen and app folders for it, and is it hidden by Settings > General > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?

My child deleted the "app store" app.  How do I get it back or reinstall?  Normally I would go into the app store to get the deleted app...

You cannot delete the App Store app as it is one of the default apps. Your daughter most likely moved it onto another screen or accidentally moved it on top of another app which creates a folder that contains both apps.
Swipe to the furthest left screen, the search screen, type in App Store, and you'll find where the App Store is hidden.

    will it change anything?
Yes. It will reset your Home screen layouts.
If the App store is hidden by Restrictions, it will not be enabled by Reset Home screen layout.
You need to re-enable Installing Apps in General > Restrictions.

I have deleted my App Store. Can someone tell me how to get it back?

It's still on your iPad somewhere, though you may have hidden it.  If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (pull down the centre of the home screen in iOS 7, swipe your first home screen to the right in iOS 6 and below), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?

I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back do I nave to re download??

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup
