How to delete an Apple Loop ?

Hello !
First of all I use Garageband 10.1. I just created an apple loop and i want to delete it. How can i do this ?

quit GarageBand and delete the loop from your user library. The loops get installed in the folder
~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/
After deleting the loop, reindex all loops. You can do that in GarageBand from the op-up menu at the top f the Loop Browser.
You user library may still be hidden, as is the default:
Quit GarageBand .
Select the "Home" folder icon (the little house) in the Finder's sidebar and press the key combination ⌘J to open the "view options". Enable "Show Library Folder".
Then open the Home folder and open the Library folder inside and navigate to
~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/
and remove your loop.

I'm sorry that you have had bad experiences here in the ASC discussions. Not everyone is technically proficient and a user should not be chasited in a forum for not having "technical" expertise. The reason that these forums exist is to provide help for those that don't have the proficiency or knowledge that more experienced people have.
I really don't know of any way to remove an Apple user from the community, but the simple thing to do is to just not come back, if you really feel that you no longer want any part of the ASC.
If this discussion site is not to your liking, there are other iPad forums that you can join, but hopefully you will reconsider in the future if you need help again. There are a lot of very knowledgable people in all of the different areas of the ASC that can offer help. Don't let the remarks of a select few scare you away.

I agree with the Thomas, in that I think you have mucked up your settings in the AOL account. Your username should be something like - [email protected] Your password is whatever you use as the password.
You could try deleting the account and start over again. Here is a link to a "how to set up AOL email " on the iPad. It is 4 or 5 step process and just make sure that you are entering the correct information in the correct fields in the set up. Among my 4 email accounts on my iPad, I have 2 AOL accounts. I have no problems at all and it was really very easy to set up. There is no reason why AOL email should not work on your iPad.
To repeat and emphasize - Just make sure that you are entering the correct information in the appropriate fields as I think that's where you are making your mistakes.
If I had my choice, I would probably chuck the AOL accounts as well, but I have all the spam filters set as high as I can on the server, and it has cut down tremendously on the spam. Unfortunately - we set up AOL accounts at my workplace years ago and I really hesitate to change them now, so I continue on with these, but like I said, they work fine and they were very easy to set up.

How to use old "Apple Loops for Soundtrack" with Garageband

Since Soundtrack (was part of FinalCut Express HD) doesn't work anymore (since some ProKit framework update) and was not part of the FinalCut Express 4 upgrade I used Garageband for sound creation and editing. But I missed some good loops from the old Soundtrack.
The Apple Loops for Soundtrack were still sitting on my harddisk but Garageband didn't recognize them in the Loop-Browser. Looking at the structure I found the Search Index files (/Library/Audio/Apple Loop Index/). I have two there, one for Garageband and another for iLife Sound Effects. Both are interpreted by Garageband. But no third for the old Soundtrack Loops. So I had a look at the Sound Loops installer DVD from FinalCut HD and there I found a similar structur and copied the Index file to the location of the two indexes mentioned above. I left the Loops for Soundtrack where they are (also could edit the index file for new locations, but that's a 7.5MB text file) and now Garageband knows their location and also lists the loops at the right categories inside the Loop-Browser.
Maybe that helps someone, even if I didn't find a topic about it here.

Ah.. ok, then never mind. Just didn't find any information about how to use the old soundtrack loops with garageband and so I did some thinking on my own. And if it works that easy, the better it is

There's no way to delete an Apple ID. Just don't use it.

if this is content that you have put on it via your itunes library, then you manage the content in itunes (add, remove etc).
edit your sync options if you want to remove anything.

GarageBand '11 (6.0.5) How to reinstall MagicGB & Apple Loop Package?

Alright,
Up until the newest update to OSX Mavericks (10.9) I was able to use Magic Garageband & Apple Loops Library with the free added content that it prompted me the first time I used it, which was about 1.5 gigs of content it downloaded directly from Apple. Now since the clean install of the new OS on both my late 2012 Mac Book Pro and late 2012 Mac Mini (both are drive free versions so they came with no discs), I no longer have either of these features in GarageBand '11 (6.0.5).
Does anyone know how to reinstall/download them?
Garage band used to download them automatically the first time I started up the software but now Magic Garageband has nothing in it and I get a popup anytime I open a new project saying "Please reinstall the Apple Loop Package".
Is anyone else having this isssue?
How would I go about fixing it?

The saved effects are stored in your User Library - you need to uninstall it.
Quit GarageBand, if it is running.
Open your User Library and open the folder
~/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument Library/Plug-In Settings/Compressor/
Remove the setting you just created and saved from the "Compressor" folder.
Restart your Computer. (Don't skip this step - it is necessary in Mavericks).
Your User library is hidden by default since MacOS X 10.7. Lion.
Select the "Home" folder icon (the little house) in the Finder's sidebar and press the key combination ⌘J to open the "view options".
Enable "Show Library Folder".

If you actually changed the Apple ID, meaning if you changed the email address associated with the ID, but did not create a totally new Apple ID, the new ID should work. Is this how you changed the Apple ID?

If you did create a new ID, you cannot update the apps that you bought with your old ID. Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase, That's why Neil is telling you to delete them and download them again, so that they will now be associated with the new Apple ID.

Do you mean just the Apple ID as it is on your iPhone? If so, go to Settings > iCloud and turn Find My OFF. Then delete the iCloud account. Then go to Settings > iTunes and App store and tap the Apple ID and View Apple ID and sign out of the stores, back up and delete the ID.
If your plan is to return the iPhone to factory setting, you can simply go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings after you have turned Find My OFF.

There is no way for you to delete the account. I suppose in dire circumstances a host could do it but it doesn't happen often.
If the only reason you want to delete the account is because of the email you are getting from here, it can be stopped. SeeHighly annoyed here. for the way to stop them.
