How to delete an old page online after it's deleted in iWeb?

I discovered this problem by doing a google search on my name: "dan crane"
The entry for www.dancrane.com shows text from a previous version of my home page, but I no longer see this page in iWeb.
If I click the google "cached" version of the page, I see the old page and the URL they use is www.dancrane.com.
But if you click on that URL, it will take you to http://www.dancrane.com/Site/Welcome.html
So my question is, how do I find/delete that old page? It does not show up in my iWeb.

You can get to your published files from Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites. You can drag unwanted files out onto the desktop or delete them in the usual way.

Hi,
I upgraded 11.5.9 (DB 9.2.0.4) to 12.1.1 (DB 11.2.0.2).
In the Applications Manager under AutoConfig menu, I noticed that I have 4 context files: 2 for DB Tier and 2 for Apps Tier. Apparently two of them are old from the 11i system. How can delete them so I have two listed on this page. I need to add custom parameters. When I tried to do it, it errored out saying "Customization is not allowed on different versions of configuration files.".

Make sure none of the old context files are available on the servers (delete them), also make sure you have proper entries in the FND_NODES table.

How to redirect to a page dynamically after authentication Apex

We have developed an application and the application id is 333.
we have developed a login screen(page No. 111).
After login Company page (Page No.1) will appear where the user selects the company name.
Once company is selected, the control goes to Menu Page(Page No.10). The menu will be displayed based on the user rights.
In shared Components - Authentication scheme,
     In session Not Valid region, URL option is selected and URL is assigned as "we have given "f?p=&APP_ID.:111:&SESSION."
     In Logout URL, URL option is enabled and URL is assigned as "f?p=&APP_ID.:111"
In shared Components - Security Attributes,
     In Authentication region, in HOME link "f?p=&APP_ID.:1:&SESSION." is assigned
In login page (Page No. 111), we have created a process "On Submit - After computation and validations".
     in that
          we are checking a condition like
          if the user has access to Only one company then he will be redirected to Menu_page(Page No.10).
          if the user has access to more than one company then he will be redirected to Company Page(Page No.1).

The above condition is not working. ie. it is always loading Company Page(Page No.1) even if the user has access to one company alone.
Can anyone point out the place where I have done wrong. Or please suggest me a method to achieve the above said task.

its working fine, If I give the username and password which exist in the table login_table.
Now I need to redirect to 2 different pages.
if the username is 'guru' then when he clicked the login button he has to redirect to page 2,
if username is any other name except 'guru' they have to be redirected to page 3.
Can you please give the step by step procedure to follow?

How to find my old aperture library after upgrade?

I recently updated my system to OSX 10.10, upon attempting to open aperture to view my photos, an info box came up saying my version of aperture was redundant and i should upgrade via the mac app store, I then tried to open the library through iPhoto and was given a message in the same tone (see screenshot 1).
I then purchased Aperture to upgrade the library and view all of my photos. Upon launching it did not give me an option to load the library in question, instead I was only given the option to load from the iPhoto library or to create a new library which, incidentally, was created as a REPLACEMENT to the existing library, in effect overwriting all of the data from my aperture library of five years with a new empty library.
No problem, I backed up the aperture library to ext HD but it is also refusing to open with the new aperture software (see screenshot 2).
How do I find the version of the library that was on the computer before it was replaced with the empty new one, it must be there as it was amounting to about 16 GB of photos, they cant just disappear?

If your Aperture version has been any version of Aperture 3, you are entitled to a free update. If the App Store is charging you, contact the App Store Support. Your email receipt should have a "Report a problem" link.
is there a way without time machine to find the library which was being used at the time of upgrade?
Did you keep your library in your Pictures folder? Check the sizes of all libraries you are seeing there. Sometimes an library will appear to be apparently empty, even if there are gigabytes of photos in them.
To find all libraries, or traces of them, search with Fnd Any File (http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/index.php) as described by Old Toad at this link:

Download and run Find Any File to search for a file with "ThumbJPGSegment" in the file name. These are files common to all versions of iPhoto libraries.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. If there's a library hiding somewhere on your hard drive FAF will find it.

You would only be able to retrieve it thru Verizon if you are using Verizon Messages and then only if you had not previously deleted the message. Otherwise Verizon would have no copy of the message in question.
If you are subscribed to Verizon Messages, you can sign in HERE. Of course any messages sent/received before subscribing would not be available.
If you are using iMessage, you should be able to sign into your online iMessage account in order to retrieve the message. Of course, if the message was sent via text and not iMessage it would not be available as an iMessage.

How do I restore old history even after not selecting the restore

I did not get a chance to select the restore feature and firefox exited with a lot of import tabs and links up. Then, it just restored an instance with one tab, instead of the many tabs with important info. I see there is a book mark history, is there a session history for previously used tabs and their urls? Unfortunately, I had just before that, selected, to close history when firefox exits and when it crashed, it cleared that history.

There still may be hope. Find your Firefox profile and look for a file called sessionstore.bak. This is a backup file of your sessions.
Delete the sessionstore.js file then rename sessionstore.bak to sessionstore.js. Then open Firefox. Make sure Firefox is closed during all these steps.

The photos are not stored in PSE. The photos are stored on your old computer's hard disk(s) somewhere. If those disk(s) are available, retrieve the photos and the PSE catalog file (*.pse7db) and move those to the new computer. The photos need to be in the EXACT same folders on the new computer that they were in on the old computer. The Catalog file can go anywhere. Then double-click on the *.pse7db file

Depends where you published it? If you published to MobileMe, then you need to log into your account and go and delete your site directly from your iDisk.

Assuming you recuested an upgrade you will receive new phone and a NEW sim. You would need to power off your old phone and insert new sim into your new phone then LEAVE your phone connected for a minimum of 4 hours. Please note that the activation of the SIM might take up to 24 hours. As soon your sim is activated you can use your previous/old number.

Recreating an old page url

Hi there,
I've got an iWeb site and have recently moved one of the pages from the site to a new site. What I would like to do is have a holding page that points users to the new site but I'm not sure how to do it.
The original page (a blog title page) was this http://www.londonwriter.co.uk/www.londonwriter.co.uk/50Word/50Word.html
but although I've tried to create a new page called 50 Word with my "this site has now moved to..." message - it won't link to the original page that's gone.
Can someone tell me how I recreate the old page url so that I can put on my move message.

What you want is to use a redirect. You can add an HTML snippet to the old page with the following code:

When a visitor click on the link to the old page they will be redirected to the new page. If the old page has a lot of items on it the redirect will not be immediate. If you empty that old page except for the HTML snippet it will be nearly immediate.

Are you sure you are opening the new iWork apps versions? They keep the old iWork version in case you want to use it again, so you might be opening the wrong version.
Open a Finder window and choose Applications in the sidebar. Then, look for the Pages, Numbers and Keynote icons with the new icon, and open them. You should be able to open your documents without any problem.
To prevent this issue again, drag their icons to the Dock, so you can access to them easily

The newer applications is always the default one. You are trying to open a document created in Pages 5 in the older Pages 4.3. You are probably using one of the icons in the Dock or the Launch pad. They are the older icons, linking to the older Pages, but look like the new ones.
Try opening a document by Right clicking (Ctrl + click) on the document and you will get options of PAges to open the document with.

Hello, I have had a good bit of time spent on this today, and with alot of input from paypal (to no avail) I have sorted it for myself. If you have loads of old addresses that are now redundant, this is how you get rid of them (its probably a bit long winded, but it is the ONLY way I have found to do it, not even 3 service representatives could do it.....). I will take you through baby steps (stick with me), its a bit odd, but it works. 1. When you have logged into paypal, click on the gear cog (near the log out button)2. Your name then appears in big letters on the middle-ish of the page3. Next to my name, it says "edit"4. Click edit.5. It will ask you if you want to change your name, click cancel6. It will then take you to a more in-depth "My Profile" page7. Third option down will be, "address" (Name, email, address). You can then see all your previous address and remove as necessary.8. Ta-dah! It should now be only the addresses you wish to keep I know its convoluted, but it worked for me. Good luck!!

Hi, I have a little more info on this topic that I'd like to share. I thought I had deleted all the old addresses a few months ago -- my current address was the only one that showed up on the main profile page. Today, I used PayPal to make a purchase online, and it changed the shipping address to one of the addresses I thought I had removed! I found your post, and found the secret profile page. It still showed 11 addresses, but I got an error when I tried to delete anything, so I called Customer Support. After fighting with the automated system for a while, I finally got a person and explained it to her, including how to find the secret page. It took her a while, but she was able to delete all the old addresses! Much happiness and cheering ensued. So the moral of the story is that, if you can't delete them yourself, MAYBE an informed Customer Service person can do it.

I was wondering how to delete an old app in DPS App Builder when the delete button is inactive?
I had purchased a single edition and build an iPad App. After download the Developer app from DPS App Builder and tested on my iPad, I'd found some page number errors so I'd created a new app. Inorder to activate app, I need to insert the serial number. But it says "this serial number already been redeemed". Is it because I already use it to build the old app? If so, how to delete the old app because the delete button is inactive for the old app but the new one?

You need to call product support and have them reset your serial number. In the future you should test your content thoroughly using Adobe Content Viewer before building your app with the serial number. We make it rather painful to update when you are using a serial number for single edition
