How to delete apps I didn't add???
I had downloaded the Angry Birds apps and a couple other ones. Well, since I've done that, I now have apps I cannot get rid of them, no matter what I do. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, I'll get random texts and links. I cannot get it to stop. Any idea on this one too?
steph46340,
This doesn't sound fun even a little bit! @Ann154 has the right idea! It definitely sounds like apps/ads that were added by one of the applications downloaded. I recommend her suggestion to download and run Air Push Detector and remove the apps listed. Keep me posted.
Thanks,

You can't.
You can hide the purchases, but you have to do that on your computer using iTunes. You cannot do it directly on the iPad.

I'm not sure how to delete apps on mac
someone help me plz
im not sure how to delete apps on my macWell normally all you have to do is delete (Move to Trash) the .App file but then some program place things in different Library folder around you hard drive. None of thos other files maen anythiing with out the app beinig run except for taking up disk space.
So apps come with uninstall programs but most don't. If you run the installer again you may find an uninstall app included.
Here is a web page that can give you more information.

How to delete app from iPad mini
how to delete app from iPad mini
Press and hold any of the apps on your iPad's homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

How do we delete apps from ipod 4 when using same account as iphone 4s, we can delete from the phone but not the ipod, and when i get an app on my phone it automatically comes up on the ipod and visa versa, now ipod is full,
Read the article from which the thread was posted, it clearly defines how to use multiple iDevices on a single computer.
Sharing an Apple ID is not an issue. -
My ipod says i got alot of my memory used up under other and i would like to know how to delete thid stuff so i can add more songs.
You need to delete the music you got from your friend. You fried does not have the licence/right to give you a copy of it.
I would restore the iPod from a backup on your computer and sync your own media to the iPod. -
How to delete apps download?
how do you delete app downloads? i still have the app on download history and it will not delete. any answers?
I don't think you can delete or remove them completely from the Purchase list. They can only be hidden by doing a left or right swipe on the app and then tap the Hide button.

How to delete apps on an IPod Touch 4G Running iOS6
Hi. I have a iPod Touch 4G with 32GB of memory running iOS 6. I'm also syncing it with an iMac running Yosemite.
I decided to delete a bunch of apps from my iPod touch because I want more room for music and podcasts.
I deleted the apps on the iPod touch but when I synced it with my Mac using iTunes, some (maybe all, I'm not sure) deleted apps were transferred back to my iPod Touch from my Mac.
So, I'm wondering: how do I delete those apps on my iPod Touch so they aren't added back when syncing with my Mac?
Thanks.Okay, sorry. Looks like I can delete the apps from iTunes on Mac. Please ignore my question.

How to Delete App Icons?
I know I can't delete the icons that came with the phone, but how do I delete Apps I installed?
The fastest way to delete an application is to
1. Hold down on an icon button until all the icons start to move.
2. Touch the "x" in the upper left corner of the icon of the application you want to delete.
3. Respond to the messages that pop up and the application will be deleted.
If all the icons are still moving, press the home button below the screen until they stop. -
I just got a free app and now want to delete it. I can just trash it - finder asks for admin password and the app is deleted.
Now, when I go back to the app store and search for the app that I have deleted, it still says that it is installed??
Any way to fix this?Just figured out how to delete -
Delete the app - drag to trash.
Enter admin PW
then restart your mac and you can download it again. It still says that it is in purchases but you can re-download.
I always want to be know how to remove things before I start loading computers up with stuff -

how do I dump it from my iPad.
thanks,
should be simple.Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. You cannot delete any of the Apple built-in apps e.g. Music, App Store, Game Centre etc. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'.
