How to delete apps permanently when changing Apple ID?

I understand this question has been asked before, but I think my situation is slightly different and I think solutions to other threads probably won't apply.
I have been using an iPhone 4 and recently bought a iPhone 4S.  I also got a new Apple ID.  Not so I could keep both of them running, but because I moved back home and needed to change countries (no longer "brit abroad").
I know I could have changed countries on my old Apple ID, but I wanted to start afresh with a new everything (email address, Apple ID, phone) and I didn't want my old purchases popping up on my new phone, being that they would be on my old ID and that they were all free anyway, so I could easily download new versions from the new store.
The problem is I have signed out of the App Store and De-authorised my computer for my old ID, but my old apps are still there.  What I basically want is a clean iTunes to start again with my new ID.
Should I uninstall and reinstall iTunes?
Should I delete the apps one by one in iTunes?
Should I delete the apps from the 'Mobile Applications' folder?
Will any (or a combination of any) of these actually get rid of them for good?
Thanks in advance
Dan

I don't know if I am understanding you correctly, but just go to Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Manage Storage, then go to the app you want to delete, tap on edit, then Delete All.

  • HT1977 how do i delete apps permanently from my icloud?

i want to know how to delete apps i no longer want from  my icloud. i have deleted them from my iphone but they are still in my icloud and i want them gone instead of taking up space i could use for other things.

If you are talking about wanting to delete your purchase history, that has never been an option.  You used to be able to hide them on your phone but that option did seem to be removed with iOS 6.  You can still hide them on your computer though (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919), and perhaps syncing after doing so will also hide them on your phone; not sure.

how to delete app from iPad mini

Press and hold any of the apps on your iPad's homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

    You can't.
You can hide the purchases, but you have to do that on your computer using iTunes. You cannot do it directly on the iPad.

  • I'm not sure how to delete apps on mac

    someone help me plz
im not sure how to delete apps on my mac

Well normally all you have to do is delete (Move to Trash) the .App file but then some program place things in different Library folder around you hard drive. None of thos other files maen anythiing with out the app beinig run except for taking up disk space.
So apps come with uninstall programs but most don't. If you run the installer again you may find an uninstall app included.
Here is a web page that can give you more information.

Sharing an Apple ID is not an issue.
