How to delete artist picture(pic next to artist name) from iPhone

I want to delete the artist picture from my iPhone. I don't know how it come. I think it come with the song I download so I try delete that song and download a different song by the same artist but the artist picture is still there. I want to delete it. Does anyone know how to?help please. (I'm using ios7 and iTunes 11)

If you set up Find My iPhone prior to the theft, then there's a chance you can wipe the data via the iCloud web site (or MobileMe, if you set up the service some time ago). Log into the appropriate service (iCloud or MobileMe) from a web browser and proceed from there.
If you did not set up Find My iPhone before the theft, then there's no way to delete any content remotely. If you had a passcode set with the "erase after ten attempts" setting, the content should be erased, either automatically via that setting or by the thief restoring the iPhone so s/he can use it.

Is there a way to sync only certain events, but not all of them? Sometimes I want to do the opposite, where I need to see a reminder on my computer for work, but don't need it popping up on my phone.

In system preferences, create a new account again, using the short name of the "deleted" account. You may be prompted to re-use the old home folder. Log out and log in to test it worked. Then log in as your new admin, and do the delete process again. Don't choose to securely delete this time - just a regular delete.
When you have time to spare, go to Disk Utility, and use the Erase tab to securely erase free space on the drive. This will accomplish the same thing that your originally tried to do. Use the fastest method - anything more secure is a waste of time. You may need to run it overnight - it can take several hours.

How did the photos get onto the iPad ? If they were taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc then they can be deleted directly in the iPad's Photos app - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view. If they were synced from a computer then connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar (with iTunes 11, option-command-S on a Mac will enabled the sidebar, control-S on a PC), and on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen use the Photos tab to de-select the albums/folders that you want to remove and apply/sync that selection. If you want to remove all synced photos then try selecting and syncing just an empty folder.

Well, I use iTunes at work on a PC and it *****. I lost 90% of the artist name appearing in the Artist column. They show in Info for each song. How can I get them to show upm again. Also, on the PC version everytime I click Album it changes to Album by Artist, Album by Year, then to back to Album all of them in alphabetic descending order. I no longer can reverse the order. Finally, I have tried to import a few folders of music using the file method and itunes just links to the folder. None of this absurd behaviors happen on my macs nor do I ever want them to ever do it. Apple either send post a work around or upgrade and fix these annoying problems. But before I do, I can address one of your issues.

If you click on the words Album, Album by Artist, Album by Year, the column cycles through those headings but if you click on the actual arrow at the top, the heading remains the same and the arrow changes direction.

You can't. Just move them to a back screen or in a folder with other apps you do not want.

The issue may be that the dock connector has dust/lint in it or the pins are bent. Try cleaing the connector with a soft dry brush.
This assumes that the "accessory" that is generating the message is optimized for iPhone.

I transferred all my music from my old computer to my new one, I did this using an external drive in three batches. For some reason most of the songs appear duplicated with one of the duplicate version having an exclamation sign next to the name. This symbol is supposed to mean that the song has been moved or can't be found, which is not true in my case but I don't I just want to eliminate from my library all duplicate songs that have an exclamation symbol. These two statements are at odds
Truth is, you did move the music. iTunes relies on a database file consisting of the exact path to each song. If any part of the path on the new computer (including username) are different, then it would appear as a new song to iTunes.
The two choices at this point are:
1)clear the library and then add the folder on the new computer.
2)figure out what has changed in the file structure and change it back. That can take some time, so be prepared if you follow this one.
