How to delete clips in old Imovie version instructions do not work
How can I delete clips in events in imovie? I get the red line but when i click send to trash nothing happens. Likewise when I press command delete together the clips are not trashed. Just a "beep" Help! My computer is full!
That is to rename the Sections within the template, not the name of the Template in the Template Chooser, and it is greyed out if there are no alternative sections.
It is clumsy but you either go to the Templates folder in your User Library and rename it there, or save it with the new name and then delete the old one.

How do I get the old java version (the one that worked) back
I just did the lastest OSX upgrade. OSX 10.7. It did a few things to Java.
1) It removed the Utility to select a Java version to run (umm, so how am I supposed to pick Java 1.5 for some old Java 1.5 apps?)
2) It made some Java 1.6 applications that I need on my desktop to do my job not work. Anyone heard of ScrumWorksPro.? Barfing on a laf.jar that's missing from the new 1.6 version
I can't seem to 'downgrade' back to the version that worked. Does anyone have the zip file of the old version of Java that worked? If so, where do I unzip it to. I'm fine with launching my app from a terminal, I just need the jvm files so I can. Looks like the installer (or my attempts to get rid of the new version by doing rm -r on every Java dir I could find) has gotten rid of the old version of Java. I just can't seem to find the installer or the zip files to get the old version.
Help!In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload (refresh) buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, Control-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. I imported all of my iphoto movies into imovie and now I can not figure out how to delete them from the imovie event library. The import used 8GB of memory and I need the space. I searched the forums but I can't figure it out. All help is appreciated. ThanksHello All,
I found out what happened. For some unknown reason, when I imported the movie clips into imovie they were copied within the iphoto folders. Before the import they were just in the Originals folder. After the import they were located in both the Data and Originals folder in the iphoto path. I was speaking to an Apple Care rep when we found them. At first he was sure that imovie would not copy thm and asked me why I thought that my disk space had been reduced by 8GB. I knew because I watched my free space dwindle during the two hour import and noted the space available before and after the import. He said that this was very odd and imovie should not have not have copied the files and he will report it to Apple. Thanks, -

I've moved my Aperture library from one computer to another using Finder.
I merged the library with one which was already on the computer.
Now, the photos I imported have reference to the old path name on my old computer.
How can I update these references as "Relocate Masters" does not work in this case?Just one suggestion to be able to reconnect all at once:
Create a smart album containing the images with missing masters:
File -> New -> Smart Album, and add a rule: File Status is "Missing" (or File Status is "offline")
Then select the images in this album and go to the File menu:
and select: File -> Locate referenced File
If you are lucky, Aperture will reconnect all at once, if you point the first image version to its counterpart. -
I have changed my Apple ID name and I want to change it on iCloud, however I am not able to delete the previous account because I need to turn off the Find my iPhone - and for that I need to log in with the old name and that is not working. Help anyone?

How do I get my old printer "HP Laserjet 4mv" to work on my newer Macs with OSX?
There is no HP support for this old printer. I have tried to connect via ethernet (thru ethernet router), and it does not show up in printer preferences. The printer worked fine on system 9x but when I went to my new macs with system X no luck. This is a great B&W printer that prints at 18 x 24". I would like to keep it and not junk it, but its been sitting on my desk unused for some time now. Any thoughts or JUNK IT! I got it working by getting a USB cord that connects to it - but every once in a while it just stops working for weeks. The mac 'sees' it and it sends the data because the printer lights start blinking but then it just doesn't do anything. Is there no one who can tell me (and raterada) how to get some new life into these old printers. I would rather not add this (and a new toner cart) to the landfill just yet. . . -

BUT....the adove does not work if you use session restore to reopen tabs on your next start, you have to clear the browser cache when you close Firefox (from 3-bar button > Options > Privacy > History > Firefox will > Clear history when Firefox closes [v] > Settings > cache [v].

Hi, I am using MAc OS 10.10.3 and I have a problem to update my photoshopCC because of error U43M1D204. I have deleted AAm Updater/1.0/ but it still not worked. How can I fix it please help.
I too have only recently encountered this problem. I have been able to burn disks before but it keeps making all these weird sounds. It might be a hardware problem but the fact that everything else that uses a disk works I doubt it.

Itunes 10 will not load on windows 7 64 bit. Error code 2324. Old Itunes is gone or not working. Cannot play anything although files are still there. What the ??? is error 2324. Seems like alot of people ar ehaving the same problem
