it may not be possible to delete that particular chat conversation without deleting your whole chat histories. Yet, you can also block that user and report them to [email protected] for possibly misusing Skype services.

Hello apple communites, I have a simple and hopefully simple to answer question..
I am curious as to how to disable iMessaging for a single contact. My sister when she got her phone number originally had an iPhone, she has since gotten an android and kept the same phone number. However I am running into issues with text messages to her, my phone still thinks she has an iPhone and continues to send every text as an iMessage, resulting in a failed message. I can easily hit the "send again as a text message" option and the message/picture sends as normal. I however find this a bit fustrating, and have tried everything I can think of to attempt to disable this. However all the online tutorials I can find regarding disabling iMessage turns the feature off completly, I don't wish to do that.
I have attempted to completely delete, (including all existing all texts and call history), and then re-add the contact, but that does not work either, my iPhone still attempts to send messages to my sister as an iMessge. Any help, if any, would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your sister needs to disable iMessage on her iPhone if the iPhone is still available if she hasn't already done so.
If she has, does she have iMessage enabled with the same Apple ID on another iOS device or on a Mac as was used to activate iMessage on her iPhone?

That is discouraging. However I do notice that if I view my podcasts in My Podcasts mode they are grouped and sorted better than in Unplayed mode and the ones in the cloud are not shown. However although I prefer the one window view of List mode to the two windows My Podcast mode, My Podcast mode does at least indicate how many unplayed episodes I have from each podcast. This would almost be acceptable except that partially listened to podcasts, while still there, can only be identified by highlighting the podcast title on the lefthand sidebar, (although the number of completely unplayed episodes are listed on the left hand sidebar). As someone who often listens to a podcast over two or more days I fear I could forget which ones I have only partially listened to and would have to go down the entire left hand sidebar list highlighting each podcast to remind myself. I really find the List mode the most informative and easiest way to view my podcasts and really wish Apple had not messed with it

You don't need Outlook to sync contacts. You do have Windows Contacts available which is a supported address book application for syncing contacts with the iPhone.
Windows Live Mail is not an email client. Windows Live Mail is an email account that can be accessed via webmail access using a browser or with an email client such as with Outlook or Windows Mail on a PC.
You can export your Windows Live Mail contacts from your Windows Live Mail online address book for import into the Windows Contacts address book application on your PC which is supported for syncing contacts with your iPhone.

Why does Skype do not allow to delete conversation with single contact?

IT is a simple question only if Skype can be HONEST and answer it truthfully.. What is the reason that we can not have a feature where we can delete the single conversation with one contact. Now the option skype has does not allow that. You either delete your entire history with all contacts or you have to keep the conversation history you do not want to keep.. I mean It has to be on purpose that Skype has not allowed this option. If you absolutely do not care and will not allow this option, then at least be honest and tell us this is the reason and we can either shut up or move on to some other service... Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
Try trashing them in Safe Mode, reply if that doesn't help.

In order to delete some of the songs that are not delete(able?) you have to first re-download them from the cloud. There just seems to be some confusion with the itunes match having songs show up that are not actually on your machine therefore, you aren't able to delte them.
-'Settings > Music' and toggle OFF "Show All Music"
-delete all the songs you are able to download.
-make a note of all teh songs you can't and then,
-'Settings > Music' and toggle ON "Show All Music"
-go back to iTunes on your device and re-download (click on the cloud icon) all the songs you noted in the last step
-Once they're all downloaded on to your device,
-go back to 'Settings > Music' and toggle OFF "Show All Music"
and the songs you donwloaded should be the only ones showing up.
-Delete those and you should have a "media on deivce" or something
-go back to 'Settings > Music' and toggle ON "Show All Music"
-and you should have a clean iTunes Match library.

How many phone numbers can be assigned to a single contact?
Somehow my phone number has gotten onto a shared telemarketers data base and I have been getting at least a call a day. (Yup, I have even been on the Do Not Call Registry for a few years.) It seems as though you can only block 30 individual contacts, so I created a "Do Not Answer" contact and dumped all of the restricted numbers into it. So far I have 35 numbers. I am just wondering how far that I can carry this strategy for my sanity.

In my experience, you can assign as many numbers as you want to a contact.

How to delete pictures with iPhoto off your camera roll?

I bought iphoto to help me organize pictures on my Ipad and Iphone. I especially like the idea of being able to compair two or more similar pictures and save the best photo and delete the copies that weren't as good. I liked this feature but then discovered that it was not deleting the pictures off the camera roll.
I would love someone to tell me how to delete pictures in iphoto so they are removed from my Camera Roll at the same time. Being able to look at two pictures at the same time and decide which one you want to keep is great, but if I can't delete the one I don't want it is a waste of time.

I agree that the iphoto for the ipad might not be the best place to organize, but when you are retired and traveling you would like to select the pictures you want to keep and not wait until you get home. The camera roll doesn't let you compair two or more photos to see which one is best, Iphoto does but I want the poorer photos off the ipad so I don't have to wait until I get home and I want to use the memory for the best photos. I'm trying to figure out a round about way so I know which ones to delete on the camera roll.

If you backed up your phone to iTunes after you received the messages but before you deleted them, you can restore your phone to that back up. If not, I believe they are gone forever.

How to delete conversations on Skype on android

I use Skype on my android device but there dosn't appear to be any way to delete the conversations there.
Is there a way to stop the android phone from syncing all the conversations, even ones that I've deleted on my PC still appear on the phone!
I would also like to know how to protect the account with a password as I need one to get into the account on my PC (which is how I like it), but anyone that picked up my phone could read anything said ever on my phone or on my PC, some of which I'd rather keep private.
I'd really apprieciate any help anyone can offer with any of these issues.

That is a ridiculous, countless people are on the forums wishing to permanently delete their conversation history. I wish to not only achieve that, but also modify my Privacy settings into NOT saving ANY of my chat history. It shocks me that such a basic command cannot be found within this application.
I recently posted another thread regarding my problem with not being able to find the menu bar at all. Without a menu bar, how in the world am I supposed to access my privacy settings? What further surprises me is that most of these threads haven't been answered at all, even questions dating back to January are still unanswered. It makes me wonder just how much effort is being put into fixing these problems.
Please, at least include this incredibly basic setting in the application, it's completely necessary. Thank you.

The first step is to make sure you have copies of those files somewhere else unless you are certain you are done with them.
Assuming your friend created a separate Mac use account for your use while he used it on another account, log back onto your account, sign off any email/contact/calendar/store/music accounts that you signed into (especially iCloud), then log off that Mac account and have your friend logon his admin account and delete your account using the "Delete the home folder" option.
If you have been the only one using the new MBP, you'll still want to sign off all accounts, but your friend may find it simpler to restore the MBP to "just unboxed" state using the Recovery HD or Network Recovery.
If you and your friend have been sharing a single Mac account, write back; it's going to be more complicated to unravel things.

Hi,
When you do Changes in Dev and do the Transporting to Production, the Same Query which is already exist in Production is not overwritten. For that reason Queries will show as two. Check the note: 541024.
Check with your Basis team also.
You have to identify the UID Component of that Particular Query, which want to delete in production. Check the Queries as Date wise, you will find.
Delete these by using RSZDELETE tcode with UID Component of that particular Query in Production.

I have a large iTunes library, around 600GB. Due to a HDD failure some of the files are no longer in existance and so show up with a '!' in front of them. Is there a way to automatically find all of these and delete them?
