Please tell me how to "delete cookies" or whatever its equivalent would me on my iMac. It is slowing down.
It's best to describe the problem in as much relevant detail as possible, rather than what you think is causing it or how you think it should be solved.
For example, if the computer is slow, which specific actions are slow? Is it slow all the time, or only sometimes? What changes did you make, if any, just before it became slow? Have you seen any alerts or error messages? Have you done anything to try to fix it? Most importantly, do you have a current backup of all data? If the answer to the last question is "no," back up now. Ask if you need guidance. Do nothing else until you have a backup. -

How do you delete cookies with ios7 on I-phone and I-pad ?
Cheers for that but what I really meant was when you double click your home button you used to be able to keep your finger on one of the apps for 2 seconds and they all would have a cross on them and you could delete them now you can't ? , not delete the app completely just close the app properly to save your battery

How to delete "Reopen All Windows From Last Session" in History?
I use 5.0.4 in 'Private Browsing', but the above mentioned pull down choice in 'History' still remains active, and leaves my history visible for prying eyes.
Where is the cache for "Reopen All Windows From Last Session" located? I could not find it in Safari Library. Or is there another way to manually or automatically delete the contents of this file?
Thanks,
PPHi,
Go to ~/Library/Safari. (Tilde) character represents the Home folder)
Move the LastSession.plist file to the Trash.
Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. If you have any installed, turn that off, relaunch Safari. Try Private Browsing. You may have an Extension that's causing the problem.
I don't know of any way to "auto" delete the .plist file but someone else might know of a Terminal command.

How to delete firefox for windows?
program uninstall does not work
Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the [[Uninstall Firefox from your computer#w_uninstall-firefox|Uninstall Firefox]] article.
'''IMPORTANT:''' On Windows, the uninstaller has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you do '''not''' check this option; otherwise all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, user customizations and other Firefox [[Profiles|user profile data]] will be removed from your computer.
After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the "Mozilla Firefox" program folder, located by default in one of these locations:
* '''(On 32-bit Windows)''' ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox''
* '''(On 64-bit Windows)''' ''C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox''
#Go to the Windows Start menu and click on "Computer".
#In the Explorer window that opens, double click Local Disk (C:) to open the C:\ drive.
#Find the "Program Files (x86)" folder or "Program Files" folder.
#* On 32-bit Windows, double-click the '''Program Files''' folder to open it.
#* On 64-bit Windows, you will see a "Program Files (x86)" folder AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the '''Program Files (x86)''' folder.
#Look for a '''Mozilla Firefox''' folder. If you find one, right-click it and select ''Delete'' and confirm that you want to move the folder to the Recycle Bin.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
#Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
#Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

What are benefits and drawbacks of deleting cookies?
I see articles about how to delete cookies and problems that seem to relate to having cookies or having deleted cookies but nothing (that I could find) about the benefits and drawbacks of cookies. Seems before deleting or preventing, it would be useful to know more about the subject.
Cookies have many uses, for a summary of what cookies are used for see [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie HTTP cookie - Wikipedia]
It is very much a personal preference as to whether you want to delete cookies or not, the wikipedia article should help you decide. As a matter of routine I do not delete cookies, though I do block most tracking cookies. -
Please tell me--
How to delete cookies in JSP
amitindiaEach cookie have an age, which will be set in the creation time. After that age passes, cookie would no more exist.
but as far i know, you can't manualy delete a cookie.
i recommend a trick, just rewrite your cookie with a default value wich means deleted, and when reading cookie, if it's set on that value, don't count on that cookie.
See javax.servlet.http.Cookie Doc for more help, @ http://java.sun.com
wish it helps :) -
I try to go to my Hotmail email and it wont let me go through. so I deleted cookies and still the same issue with my home page. It will not go to home page it just goes to a blank page. I do not want to constantly deal with this problem. You have bugs and everything else in this browser. Please work out the bugs.
ThanksThat may be an incompatibility between Hotmail and Firefox 10.
